“Andrews is at her best in this thoroughly satisfying story with the right blend of mystery, romance, and sharply funny writing.” — Orlando SentinelA delicious tale of revenge and renovation, Hissy Fit tells of a wronged spitfire who’s determined to see that the no-good lowdown, lying, cheating ex-fiancé who ruined her life and her business gets the comeuppance he deserves…even as she struggles … gets the comeuppance he deserves…even as she struggles to revitalize a broken-down mansion for a hunky, if slightly odd, local businessman.
Whether it’s a mystery, sassy women’s fiction, or a combination of the two, New York Times bestselling author Mary Kay Andrews always gives her fans a read to remember. And now she’s throwing a Hissy Fit, in the best possible sense. If you like the novels of Fannie Flagg, Jennifer Crusie, Adriana Trigiani, and Emily Giffin, or are a devoted follower of Rebecca Wells or Jill Conner Browne’s Sweet Potato Queens, then Mary Kay’s Hissy Fit is not to be missed.

Not a typical “happily ever after with a couple of cute glitches “. A decent story with a good mystery and designer decorating touches. Lots of fun.
I LOVE This author. I’ve read ALL her books. This one was so much fun. I highly recommend this book and ALL of her other titles!
I actually bought this on a whim. I wanted something different and this provided a humorous escape. It was an easy read but also had several plot twists and enjoyable characters. There were quite a few laugh out loud moments and I found myself sneaking my book to work to find out what was going on with Keelie next. This was an enjoyable read …
A wonderful read
I don’t recommend this book. Very sophomoric. Started it, just couldn’t read past 1/4 of it.
I must admit that when I first started the book, I was a little put off by the snarkiness and lack of control of the heroine. It seemed almost as though Ms. Andrews was trying too hard to be funny. And, there seemed too many clichés.
However, I have a quirk in my personality that forces me to finish a book once I start it. In this case, I am glad …
I love all of Mary Kay Andrews’ books but this is a favorite!!
I give this book 4 1/2 stars. This was a lovely break in my current regency romance obsession. I love the heroine is not afraid to make a scene when she finds her fiance and maid of honor in the storeroom. The ramifications of the broken engagement impact her business because of the retribution of the ex-fiance’s family. Her father got kicked …
Love Loved this book!! One of the best chic reads ever. Oughta make a movie out of these characters
A fun read,
Excellent book. Could not put it down. I’d love to see more books like it
Totally entertaining fun read!
I read this book at least once a year. Yes it has some language that I don’t ever use but I can overlook that for the rest of the story. I called my sister at 1:00 A.M. to read her the passage describing the wedding and bride’s bouquet. Friends are truly a blessing from Above. I highly recommend all of Mary Kay Andrews books. Always …
I read this book a good while ago. It is a wonderful story. I was really impressed with the characters. They draw you into the story very quickly and keep your attention the length of the book. I love the way the main character faced her cheating fiancé and how she gave him a slashing right in front of her whole entourage. Love love love this book …
A light, funny dose of life in the south, by one of my favorite authors.
