I was too broken to have a baby.Until my best friend put me back together and got me pregnant. When I met Will Eaton, I was a mess.He listened to me. He held my hand. Slowly, I came out of my shell, and we were best friends ever since. At least until one night when we finally gave in to our desires and he got me pregnant. The doctors all told me that I’d never have a baby, but clearly they never … have a baby, but clearly they never met Will. He gave me a little miracle and one of the best nights of my life.
But as soon as I find out, Will leaves for two years. He joins a professional hockey team in Europe, and it’s like I’m torn to shreds all over. I keep my daughter a secret and vow never to speak to him again.
Two years pass, and now he’s back. I hate him, but I still dream about his athletic body pressing me down on the bed. I dare you to pretend like you don’t love this…
I can’t let him near my daughter. He abandoned us, even if he didn’t know about her.
I’m too afraid to let him in. But I can’t help the way I feel when he’s around.
I want another taste of that night, and I know he’s going to give it to me.
His Wonder Baby is an over-the-top miracle romance with tons of steamy scenes and bad language. It’s only recommended for readers 18+.
His Wonder Baby is a STANDALONE, full-length novel. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA.

Will and Addie’s friendship stems from the commonality of abusive parents when they are kids. Both want more, but their young age breeds fear of expressing themselves. I enjoyed their story.
His Wonder Baby

Character development:
The setting: Weston, CT
The Hero(s): Will Eaton – lived with an angry and abusive father when he was young, Will took Addie under his wing when she moved to town and they had been best friends ever since.
The heroine: Addie – She was taken away from her abusive parents when she was young but lives with anxiety and PTSD. Will was the only person she could really be herself with.
The Love Story: Will and Addie are best friends who sleep together one night. He leaves to play Hockey overseas and she is angry with him and won’t speak to him. Addie is pregnant and has the baby without telling him. Though neither of them can forget their night together.
This one was good, there were no plot holes, because the secret baby issue was all about miscommunication and not telling the other person how you feel. Addie and Will each had a beautiful night with their best friend an didn’t know how to behave in the morning. They told each other everything as friends but they couldn’t figure out how to communicate after the night their friendship changed. So Addie got angry and when she found out she was pregnant, she got angrier. Then Will just left and things spiraled from there.
However, now that Will is back in town, things start to change. The story is a good one, the people are real people, not billionaires or mafia kingpins. Though Will was a professional Hockey player, it was in the KHL not the NHL and though he had some money, not enough to live on, so he had to get a real job. It is nice to read what you dream of, like having an unlimited supply of money, but sometimes it is also nice to read that real people can find love also.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
His Wonder Baby (Miracle Baby #4) by B.B. Hamel – She shouldn’t have been able to get pregnant, but he manages to knock her up right before he leaves for Europe. When he returns home, can she find the courage to let him near her daughter? (Just one thing: unless the guy is a total monster, you really should inform him clearly and in words out loud that he has a kid. Don’t assume. Don’t count on him to figure it out. Tell him in plain language and prevent the drama! Maybe I’m old fashioned. But that’s my two cents). Cute ending though! Happy Reading!!

Two damaged people move past the trauma of their childhood to find love and a future together
I received this ARC and am leaving my review voluntarily. B.B. Hamel is a good storyteller and I like her books. This is a quick, nice read.
Addie is a girl, abused by her parents at a young age. Eventually adopted by a single woman. Will was physically abused by his father until he fights back but the emotional abuse continues.
Will and Addie become best friends and one night after a college party have sex. (She apparently is a virgin, Will doesn’t notice, but they manage well all night) Misunderstandings between the two have Will going off to lead his life as a pro hockey player and Addie at home, pregnant with a child she never thought she could have.
Two years later, Will returns and he and Addie eventually reconnect. More misunderstandings happen before they finally reveal all their truths. (Will loves Addie, suspects he is her child’s father, wants to be a part of their life. Addie admits her fears, tells Will he is her daughter’s father and loved Will too)
They move in together and move forward as a family.
Really enjoyed reading about Will and Addie. Couldn’t put this book down. Recommend.
I absolutely beautiful story by B.B. Hamel. Will and Addie are best friends that never seen what was in front of both of them. They had chemistry that was HOT.I total recommend reading this story. A must read.
