Danielle arrives on Everis excited to meet her new mate. She watches as her friends find happiness while haunted by dreams of an Everian Hunter who will not come for her—a mate who refuses to claim her. But something isn’t right. The dreams turn dark. Tortured. Her mate is suffering, and nothing will stop her from finding him—especially not his stern orders to choose another, to protect herself … herself above all others, and cherish her life above his own.
Gage of Everis is heir to a seat on the Seven, the ruling council of families that have held power on Everis for thousands of years. He’s the last prince of his line, the last surviving heir, and someone doesn’t want him to rise to his place on the ruling council. Betrayed, tortured and alone, Gage has found solace in knowing he’s protected his Marked Mate from sharing his fate. But his stubborn bride refuses to listen to reason.
When she finds him, there will be a reckoning. Not only is Gage determined to find those who betrayed him, but to conquer the wild huntress who came for him in the dark and stole his heart.

I love reading Grace Goodwin’s world. Her Interstellar Brides books are some of my favorite scifi romance books to read. Strong and feisty human women with awesome alpha alien hunks is pretty much an equation for hot, sexy, romantic reads. Not only that, but Grace Goodwin always makes sure to put in a good story along with all the steamy, steamy stuff. I know that I’m going to fall in love with the characters and enjoy the story.
Dani has watched her friends Lexi and Katie find their Everin Matched Mates. She knows that hers is out there somewhere, but he won’t come to the Touchstone and when they dreamshare, he tells her to go and find someone else. She’s so not down with that. He’s hers, and she’s going to prove it to him. So she leaves the Touchstone to go find her man.
Gage is Dani’s Matched Mate. He has been kidnapped and locked away. He doesn’t want Dani in danger, so he tells her to go find a different mate. What he doesn’t know is that Earth women are stubborn, and she’s coming for him.
Dani is my favorite Everin bride, I think. She’s stubborn and knows what she wants. She can also back it up. I mean, that’s exactly what she did. She was smart and used her skills and her learning to do what she needed. When push came to shove, she showed her true grit and determination. Poor Gage, he doesn’t know what he’s in for when it comes to Dani. I hope he’s ready.
I always look forward to Grace’s world, and I’m going to be so sad when she doesn’t write in this world anymore. It’s a great mix of love, action, light, dark, sweet, and somewhat scary.
I really love Grace’s Interstellar Bride series and all of its spin-offs. While my absolute favorite aliens are the Atlans (a pre-order for April’s Atlan/Colony book was posted today), all the books in this series are winners and I have purchased them all.
Dani is fairly unique among the Interstellar brides at the Touchstone, whereas most are just Everian descendants with few Everian traits, Dani has some strong Hunter abilities which she puts to good use. This story plays out as a royal intrigue – someone if after the prince, but who is it and who can he trust? Good thing Dani has mated friends, who will help her out – thus giving us an extra dose of Everian Hunters with Bryn (His Virgin Bride) and Von (His Virgin Mate) playing a decent part of the story. There are some hot and steamy scenes as Gage claims Dani’s 3 virginities, but the story is strong and engrossing enough without them.
Read the entire Interstellar series and enjoy but be prepared to have your heartstrings yanked when reading about the contaminated veterans headed for (or already on) The Colony.
I just love this series!
This book is my favorite of the Everis serie, it’s well written and with a lot of steamy scenes. It nice to have a strong heroine willing to risk everything for her strong alpha mate. I really enjoyed how the relationship evolve , it is also nice to see some if the previous characters ( don’t worries you don’ have to read the previous book to understand).
Overall I found this book entertaining, fun, sexy with just the right amount of action.
I received a copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review. I also bought the book on Amazon.ca to support this great author
As with all of Ms. Goodwin’s books, there is a caveat. Her stories venture well beyond steamy and some readers may be offended by the material. But if you are adventurous and enjoy erotic romance with a free and open mind, then Ms. Goodwin’s Interstellar Bride series may become your favorite pleasure. As you can tell from the title of this book, all the heroines in this subset of the Interstellar Bride books, are Virgins. Keep in mind these are fantasy and not meant to be realistic. So go forth and explore.
Loved this book from the beginning to the end.
If you like sci-fi action adventure with romance this book is great. It was a fun read for me.
Boring
Great characters and a wonderful story line. Makes you want to read the next from her
It was an unusual story where the roles are reversed between the man and woman. It is a really funny and entertaining.
I really loved Dani. She was such a strong, independent woman who wasn’t afraid to go after her mate Gage, when he was in trouble. I loved all of the passion and intrigue in this book. Of course, you can’t forget the chemistry between Gage and Dani!
great read
This is a Cinderella story and how a woman from earth met her mate on another planet and became a princess. It’s an HEA story and how she and her BFF’s stayed together and got to live in a palace.
If you love steamy romance books you’ll love this one.
Ok, so I have a confession to make….there’s just something about Alien books that typically turns me off. I don’t know if I just think about the stereotypical little green aliens from movies or what, but I usually avoid these types of books.
But I’ve also had my eye on this author’s books for a while. I was intrigued by them. But I never knew where to start or which ones would really appeal to me. I’ve even taken her quiz about who your mate would be and where they’d be from…but I hadn’t read any of her stuff. So when I got the opportunity to to review this, I jumped at the opportunity to take a chance on a new-to-me author.
I’m happy to report that I freaking loved this book. I loved seeing the instant connection between Gage and Danielle. I loved that she ignored his edict of staying away to go find him and save her mate. I just loved that. She was a strong woman that wasn’t willing to give up on her mate after traveling so far, and from another world just lose the person meant for her. I loved that about her.
I completely expected Gage to be an alpha. The simple fact that they were “Mates” told me he was going to be alpha. And he was, in the best ways. Even when he’d been torture and left for dead, his first concern was for Danielle and her injured ankle. Let’s be real…his injuries were far more severe than an old ankle injury, but all he cared about was seeing that his mate was properly taken care of and healed. And that extended to later in the book too, when her ankle injury reared it’s ugly head again. And I loved that he put her well-being above his own. It was just very sweet. I mean, this is a woman that he’s never met before, and while she is his mate, it’s not like they have a long past together.
After looking at this book on Goodreads, I now realize that it’s book 3 in a series. Going in, I had no idea. So, yes, this can be read as a stand alone. I didn’t feel lost in the story. However, with that said, the book picks up with Danielle on the trail of Gage, set to rescue him. I haven’t gone back to read the other books in the series (but I plan to), so I don’t know if there’s anything about Danielle and Gage in those books, or if you see the first time they connect in their dreams of when they first feel their mating marks…but I kind of wish that I’d been able to see that in this book. I would love to see how they found out about their mates, how they reacted, see them interact for the first time in their dreams, see them excited to meet and then finally see Gage tell her not to come after him and her decided to ignore that order and go after him. Like I said, I don’t know if any of that happens in the previous books, but I can’t wait to find out.
Overall, I had a lot of fun reading this book. It was super steamy, fast moving and had a good little suspense story. I’ll definitely be checking out more books by the author in the future!
Another hood one from Grace
His Virgin Princess is book 3 from the Interstellar Brides: The Virgins. Danielle is a hunter in her own right, thanks to her father teaching her survival training that he gave her. Her mate Gage of Everis is an Everian Hunter and he has been captured and tortured. He has forbidden her from trying to find him.
Gage and Danielle (Dani) have never met but they are mated. Thankfully Dani ignores Gage and finds and rescues him. Now they need to find who doesn’t want Gage to inherit his place on the ruling council.
Who would have ever known that I would love reading Sci- Fi/Fantasy books. More specifically Grace Goodwin’s books.
Maybe because they are very steamy & hot books to read.
I highly enjoyed reading His Virgin Princess and can’t wait to read more of Grace Goodwin’s books. I am trying to work my way through them. And, enjoying every moment doing just that.
