Having a hot boss isn’t complicated or confusing at all,Said no one ever… affection.
In the end, I just plain wanted to crush him.
Now he’s back, and he might as well have “do not touch” printed on his chest.
One tiny question: would it count if I didn’t use my hands?
Let me answer my own question. Yes, Emily, you raging horndog, it counts. Besides, my dream is practically waiting for me like a perfectly wrapped, shiny little package if I can just behave. I’d be an absolute idiot to risk that, and I have a long, proud history of not being an idiot to protect.
Unless it’s kind of like when you do really well in class all semester so you can afford to flunk a test at the end. Three months is a long time, and if he’s the one giving me the big, fat, dirty “F”, it does add a little dose of temptation to the equation.
But all I have to do is one quick job for him. A few posters and a few props for a big Halloween party that he’s hosting.
Then I just walk away from his dreamboat eyes and perfect body, grab a plane, and forget about all the beautiful children we could’ve squeezed inside our white picket fence.

This is a laugh out loud hilariously funny story and I loved it.
The books in this series are quickly becoming some of my all time favorites. The characters and their hijinks, just make you fall in love with them and their stories. Ryan is a bakery owner and can throw down with the best of them when it comes to making cupcakes. Unfortunately he’s not so lucky in love, but don’t worry his happy band of misfit friends know just what he needs. Or should I say who, because that would be Emily and they are determined these two should be together. Loved this hilariously funny book and can’t wait for the next one. Grab it today and get your laugh on.

Good romantic tale with excellent characterizations, of not only the main male and female characters, but also, those that they are close to. Both of their close friends are described in such vivid detail that their personas practically leap off the page. This reader is none too sure if they would want to associate with the main female character’s best friend though. Excellent dialogue, great bantering between the two main characters mostly but with other characters as well. Witty. Comical. Enjoyable. Great read Ms. Bloom. Thank you.

This was a pretty good read. The writing flowed well, and I liked the characters. There isn’t a whole lot of drama in this one, except Emily going to art school, and you know that from the start. I thought Ryan and Emily have good chemistry, but it takes them a while to get there. I love the banter back and forth though, it was hilarious. I found myself giggling constantly with this book. William’s whole plan was a little out there for me, I wasn’t feeling it as much as I probably should have. I was happy that Ryan and Emily were able to get their HEA. I hope there are more stories in this series!
I voluntarliy reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

I was granted an ARC of Penelope Bloom’s “His Treat (Objects of Attraction Book 3)” via Booksprout; I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
Too Funny!
Book three in a tantalizing series of hilariously sexy, sweet band of misfits roads to love and happily ever after~ Phew!
This time around it’s Ryan Pearson’s turn, a Bakery owning mastermind, he can throw cupcakes with the best of them- but cannot seem to make a stable relationship happen!
When his “friends” give him a swift kick in the pants toward Emily they are bound and determined to make this work out for him, especially the not so subtle William.
Compatibility is not the issue between Ryan and Emily- it might just be everything else- good thing that happy, rich band of misfits is on the case!
I swear these books are life! A fantastic blend of romance, laugh out loud humor, sexiness, and too many hijinks to count!
Captured my heart from the first page to the very last, I honestly did not want it to end! I walked away feeling a whole lot better than when I started!
Another amazing book to add the collection I highly recommend by Penelope Bloom!
Oh goodness what a great story! I love how it’s characters from the other books in this one aswell plus the new characters. I really did laugh so many times. Be careful what you drink while reading this!!! So, so enjoyable.
If quirky, sometimes cringey, romcom is what you are looking for, then you are in the right place. Oh my dear! The things that William comes up with to taunt and torment those around him, especially Emily and Ryan – who he’s trying to setup – is just WOW! Yes, William rears his crazy head again, as do Bruce, Natasha, Grammy, and Hailey. This book can be read as standalone, even though it ropes in the characters from earlier books in the series. It was a funny listen and had me stopping a few times to rewind as I scratched my head wondering what had just happened. LOL!
Story: 4 stars
Narration: 3.5 stars
Penelope Bloom sure knows how to write a romance. Her books are full of witty, romantic, and entertaining characters that you fall in love with over and over again. I would recommend any of her books as they are all amazing!
I liked Ryan and Emily’s story it was a little flat compared to Her Cherry and with minor humor. Overall OK
Lick the frosting off the top then nibble it.
Objects of Attraction series gotta love them.
While there is a serious relationship, there are places as you read that you can’t help but laugh. So great humor. Great characters with Ryan and Emily but some of the other characters do take the lime light.
Story carries the readers interest. So you look forward to reading the book.
Penelope Bloom did not disappoint in this one either.
Definitely recommend.

These books are the best. This is the 3td book in this series and they are hilarious.
Now it the turn of Ryan and Emily.
Again the antics and banter between all the characters is just hilarious.
Ya gotta leave the friendzone sometimes!
Loved! Ryan, the hottie that worked for Hailey, is throwing a huge Halloween bash. William; surprise, surprise his fingers are in this all the way; arranges for him to meet our heroine, Emily, to do some art for the party. There is instant sparkage but both of them have their own issues getting in the way. In addition to Ryan being the ex of a mean girl from the school they both attended and him having taken the blame for said mean girl’s cupcake destruction of Emily’s artwork. Like I said, they have some issues. Hilarity ensues. Mind you, we also get cameos from the rest of the gang from His Banana & Her Cherry. And some epic ‘assistance’ and the most hilariously flubbed romantic chase ever!

This book is hilariously funny. Emily, a struggling artist, has been given a chance at her dream and has been accepted into art school in Paris. Ryan, her high school crush, offers her a commission creating posters and props for a company Halloween party. William, Ryan’s business partner, introduces them and stages situations to push them together to start a relationship. He involves all of their friends in his crazy schemes. What results is a comedy of errors and the start of a romance.

This splendid romance has a lot of humor in it & kept my attention until the last page was turned, it has a well-paced plot with some entertaining incidents by well-meaning but gangling friends & elderly people. The main characters are distinctive with individual personalities, with great supporting secondary characters.
There is: some drama, a little intrigue, humor, memories, friendship, verbal banter, dreams, emotional feelings, sexual tension, advice, confusion, mischief, pranks, set-ups, attempted sabotage, opportunities, conversation, dismissal, plans, stunts, acceptance, happiness, trust and a little steam
I enjoyed reading this romance and would recommend it.
Ryan and Emily’s sexy romance story was so much fun with some laugh out loud moments, that I found it hard to put down. The fun doesn’t stop as these two start dating and romance is in the air. Ryan’s friends, from previous books, are there to give advice and help, but when Grammy speaks, you know it will be outrageous. The fun never stops until these two get their HEA. A standalone read, I would like to thank Booksprout for gifting me “His Treat”. My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4.5 Stars!
Great, what a book .. great humor and top chemistry .. The characters are all well described .. I found Grammy really great..top woman whahah. From me 5 stars .. besides the other parts, it was also fantastic.

His Treat gave me mixed feelings. I wanted Ryan and Emily to find their chemistry but there were moments that I didn’t see the humor intended. William was a bit of a nut job, and I felt like I was in an alternate universe at times. But once I settled in and just let it happen, I was happier with the end results. There were a few things I didn’t care for, but the ending was good.
His Treat was a quick romance by Penelope Bloom.
Both Emily and Ryan thought they had a snowball’s chance in hell to be logical and practical and don’t give in to their hearts.
Well, the joke was on them because despite all those well laid plans there’s no stopping love.
It was a funny journey they brought me on.
The writing was entertaining, full of laugh-out-loud moments making some fellow passengers on the train giving me strange looks. More like a satire of the line-up of classic characters it was a fun read.
Emily is a starving artist with an acceptance to an art school in Paris. Departure date January. Nothing will stop her. Not even the her old high school crush.
Ryan has taken over the Bubbly Baker franchise. He needs to find an artist to do some Halloween decorations for the Halloween party at Galleon. Little does he know that William has a plan to set him up with his assistant’s bestie. When Ryan meets Emily his plan of no girlfriend changes. But can he convince her to give him a chance?
This is the third book in the Objects of Attraction series. I loved the first two books, but I felt that this one fell a bit flat. I got bored in the middle of the book pretty easily. Don’t get me wrong, the book had plenty of comedy moments, but it did not live up to it’s predecessors. The first two books were fun and engaging. This book had lots of potential that it did not explore. The ending could have had more wow!! to it. I was a bit disappointed in his grand gesture.
I did like the main characters. They had great potential and were very likable. They mad their debuts in the previous books, so it was nice to read their story. I also loved that the previous couples made several appearances in this book as well. Ryan and Emily are really sweet together.
Overall this book had a great plot but did not flow well. There were too many slow parts to hold my attention and I just could not get excited with this one as the other two. Maybe if there is a book 4 the story will be better. Interested to see where this leads.
Fun read. Couldn’t put it down.
