MiaAll work and no play was a phrase I knew all too well. But that was about to change. Getting dumped at the start of my much overdue vacation was not how I planned to spend my time off. Neither was running into someone from my past. It was the last thing I expected…. but just what I needed. My brother’s best friend was headed home when our paths collided at the airport during a massive storm. … during a massive storm. Twenty years of chemistry crackles around us like lightning, and we give in to what’s been a long time coming.
From stranded old friends to insatiable lovers, spending a week together at his lake house, I’m reminded what it’s like to live in the moment. When I realize I didn’t really know him at all, I can’t help but think… I might have been his to hold, but could I be his to keep?
Bryce
I guess there are worse things than being forced into taking a vacation. I can think of a few. But being fresh out of a bad relationship, and in the middle of a huge merger, is not the ideal time to be jetting off for two weeks.
One week in, I decide to cut my trip short, only to end up stranded at the airport. Just my luck. Everything changes when I run into my best friend’s little sister. Twenty years later, she’s all grown up and very much available. One thing leads to another, and we find ourselves back at my place riding out the storm and reconnecting in ways I never imagined.
Feelings that had been delayed are finally able to take flight. The girl who held my attention all those years ago is now the woman holding my heart. I’m falling fast, but when we end up face to face in the boardroom, will our vacation romance go from pleasure to business?

This is the 3rd book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Bryce and Mia grew up together and they end up bumping into each other when they are stranded at the airport. They decide to go back to Bryce’s lake house and sparks fly. I really liked this steamy second chance romance. The characters are great and the chemistry is steamy. The story is fast-paced but holds your interest throughout. I liked it.
I absolutely loved Bryce and Mia’s story, sort of a second chance romance blended with brother’s best friend. Mia and Bryce run into each other at the airport, get stuck together at his lake house due to weather, and the chemistry is off the charts fantastic! S.L. Sterling does a wonderful job telling their story with laughter, sweet yet smoking hot steamy scenes, plenty of drama, and a beautiful HEA. You don’t want to miss Bryce and Mia’s story, definitely a must read.

Melt the snow heat…Oh Yeah!
This story of Mia and Bryce is entertaining, hot, and enjoyable to read! This is another Malone sibling and even though it is not the first in the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone. I really liked this quick read written by author S. L. Sterling.
Mia and Bryce meet at an airport where their flights have been canceled due to snow. He was her brother’s best friend growing up and she always had the hots for him.He had wanted her from the first time he saw her, but her brother put a hands off sign on her for everyone. This is years later and though they fight it, the attraction is real for both of them still. They stay in his cabin while waiting out the storm and things really heat up there. The story is good and well- thought out.

This is the first book that I have read of the Malone Brothers series. I enjoyed this story. I thought it was a quick and easy read. It was a friends to lovers/brother’s best friend romance. The characters and the story was wonderful. The chemistry between the couple was great. Bryce and Mia find themselves stranded in an airport and they decide to spend some time together. They were friends once before what is the worst thing that can happen. Watching them find each other again especially after both being in bad relationships was a great ride.

His To Hold Arc Review
This is the first book I’ve read in the Malone Brothers series and I regret not reading the others before this with all the other characters backgrounds and stories I’ve missed out on that. I really liked the story though it was an easy read and you could tell that Mia and Bryce have such great chemistry and really care about each other. His To Hold is a really good second chance type romance and such a sweet story. Mia is a stubborn, busy body but all work and no play really makes your life go fast and you never realize things until its too late and that’s what happens when her boyfriend dumps her after feeling neglected. Mia gets left to drink alone at the airport while waiting on her flight for a vacation she is now spending by herself. Bryce having some of the same issues gets cheated on and can’t seem to focus on work and gets sent on vacation to get his life straight. After packing and leaving a note telling his ex to be moved out by the time he’s ready for some much needed time away. Stuck at the airport Bryce sees Mia and decides to go talk to her. With old feelings arising back up for them both and being stuck because of the snow they end up staying at Bryce’s lake house and have fun together.
This is the second book I’ve read by S.L. Sterling and I was not disappointed.
Bryce is a lawyer who works at his brothers company, and Mia is his best friends little sister. When these two find themselves stranded at the airport, he takes Mia back to his lake house, where they spend a week together. This is a well written flawless story which had me intrigued and hooked throughout, and I look forward to Chase’s story. I highly recommend this for all.

Mia and Bryce grew up together as he was her brothers friend and she had always had a crush on him but he never noticed her. Bryce is now a lawyer in his brothers firm and after fifteen years he is shocked to run into Mia in the airport and more than that she more beautiful than ever but before they can catch their flights the airport cancels all flights so he takes her back to his lake house. They spend wonderful week together but they aren’t sure how the other really feels but they both want to continue to see each other. Will their relationship more forward?

Bryce and Mia’s amazing journey towards their happily ever after is awe inspiring. Both had doubts when it came to relationships especially when they ended badly. A chance meeting had them spending a week together reconnecting. Now they are together but will Mia’s insecurities keep her from accepting Bryce and all he represents?

Right off the bat, I’d have to say the use of the f word was a drawback and I always prefer my romances to be clean. That said, I really enjoyed this original story. There were many facets to it and it held my attention and I didn’t want to put it down.

This was a good read. Mia and Bryce both drove me crazy though. I just wanted to shake some sense into them.
Mia & Bryce, her brothers friend, haven’t seen each other since school. Mia is undervalued & downtrodden in her job & has planned a vacation with her boyfriend but he dumps her by text at the airport. It so happens Bryce is also there but all flights are cancelled due to the weather. They spend a week at his cabin then go their separate ways.
Both have work issues relating to a merger which they are on opposing sides. So what happens at their next meeting?
Overall a bit predictable but good none the less.
