I’m a damn good doctor—and a damn good guy. I learned the hard way that being a good guy all the time can cost you—it nearly cost me everything. Once I see the Sunni Stone, I don’t care what it costs me to have her. She’s as beautiful as the flower she’s named after, but she’s never had a chance to bloom. Soon enough she has me addicted to more than her pretty petals and sweet nectar. I want us … nectar.
I want us to put down roots and bloom. But is she too good to be true? Or can she be my forget-me-not?

This book is amazingly beautiful. I fell in love with Sunni, her innocence, her love with animals and how Emmet and her make an amazing couple.
Emmet is a veterinarian that happens to meet Sunni in the street. He jus saw her and was so captivated by her.
Sunni is a dog walker. She’s amazingly sweet, so sweet she’s a virgin.
Like every love story, there’s up and downs but that will make you more invested in the book.
Their story is so real, that you can’t help fall in love with them.
This is an amazing short story that will have you on your toes and swooning.
I love Dee Ellis books, she is an amazing writer.
This is a good, quick love at first sight story.
When Emmett sees Sunni from across the street he struck by the love bug….. fast forward a bit and Sunni is at his practice her dog Gidget has gotten hurt. After he treats her dog he asks her out and she agrees.
After some dates Emmett gets wary because of his past and lets Sunni down.
Will they be able to overcome this?
This is a well written cute read but Emmett annoyed me a lot.

Oh how sweet! His Sun Drop is one of the May Flowers series of standalone romance from the Flirt Club authors.
I haven’t had the chance to read them all but I definitely am interested in reading more. In His Sun Drop we get to experience the love of Emmet and Sunni. Because this is a quick read, I won’t give any spoilers. I will say that I adored this couple. The way they first meet, or should I say see each other, was so romantic. At least I believe so. Imagine in a sea of endless faces and the heavy sounds of traffic, you are drawn to the person truly meant for you. That one instant moment where you know your life is going to change. A connection like no other.
Emmet and Sunni are cute together. Their relationship moves fast and is intense. Of course there is just enough angst to make their relationship realistic. Neither Sunni or Emmet are perfect characters; each has their own insecurities. My only complaint about this book was that it was over too soon. If you’re looking for a short, sexy read with an intense hero and the woman who makes him complete with a HEA, I recommend His Sun Drop
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂
He’s a doggie doctor, she’s a dog walker.
Emmet is 35, a vet and opened a dog clinic after his fiancée cheated on him with his business partner. He’s got trust issues.
Sunni is 25, a dog walker and is quirky. For a VCard, she’s more emotionally mature than Emmet, who pulls a bonehead move twice.
Short, sweet and must love dogs.
Recommend.

His Sun Drop by Dee Ellis a four-star read that will have you nibbling like a chew toy. This had all the bones of being a great story, it almost made it, there was just that little something missing, I don’t know it may have just been me. Sunni was the main thing for me, I liked her but she lacked something she was almost too sweet, but you will have a different take on her and may really like her so give this novella a go and enjoy.
Emmet is a veterinarian and is instantly smitten with Sunni. His insecurities steaming from his ex-fiance hinder their relationship. Good book, well written!
