Sometimes all a boy needs is his Daddy.
Davis’s life has been one struggle after another, leaving him nervous and unsure. On the brink of complete poverty, he’s desperate enough to accept a job at a biker bar, even though it terrifies him. It’s not like he has a choice when the hot, older owner is the only one willing to give him a chance.
Sarge has a full life. He’s made his dream of owning a … dream of owning a successful bar come true. He has good friends and valuable employees. If he gets a little lonely, it’s easier to just scratch the itch than to put his heart back on the line. At least it was until Davis, constantly looking to him for reassurance, melts through his defenses with his big blue eyes.
When Davis reveals his curiosity about Daddies, will Sarge give into the desire to claim Davis as his boy?

His Someone Special by authors Sammi Cee and Brittany Cournoyer is the first time I have read this duo. I loved this story. I liked the character connection and the pace of this story. This story is written in dual POV I love that POV so it worked for me.
Davis is a young man he is down on his luck and looking for a job. He goes to a biker bar, and he is applying for a dishwasher job. He has been turned down before at other places, so he doesn’t have high hopes. But he cleans himself up the best he can and tries.
What I loved about Davis is no matter what life throws at him, he gets back up and is positive. He is a strong character but really needs someone in his corner looking out for him.
Sarge is the owner of the biker bar that Davis applies too. He is older and more experienced. He is also a Daddy. His protective nature comes into play with Davis. He cannot stop himself from nurturing and protecting those he cares about.
I loved his heart, there is no character with a bigger heart than Sarge.
Overall a great story. I think there is potential for there to be a great start to a series as well. I hope some side characters we met will one day get their own stories. I know I would love to read about how they fall in love and what happens next.
Five Shooting Stars
I love this story! Sucha a sweet dynamics between well crafted MCs!
The wonder duo did a great job in this book. Recommend totally!
Such a lovely story. Davis stole my heart from the very beginning. Sarge made me want a Daddy of my own.
This is my favorite kind of book. Relatable, well developed characters, just a little pining followed by a sweet romance with lots of open communication. This is an angst free read with wonderful primary and secondary characters and a bit of kink. I can’t recommend it enough.
This book started with pulling at your heartstrings and making you want to cry, but then as it progresses it fills your heart with warmth. Davis is so sweet, alone and in need of love and help. Then Sarge, Mr Big Sexy bar owner, steps in and fills that void. He becomes so protective of Davis and fills Davis life with happiness, security and LOVE. And I love his nickname for Davis, it fits him so perfectly. The Daddy/boy relationship is not in your face but sweet and wonderfully woven into the story. And the secondary characters are also so loveable. I really hope this turns into a series and we get their stories, especially bratty, fun and loving Billy
A shy boy in need of a job & a Daddy walks into a biker bar…
This is a fun book, full of characters you want to care about. I was pulled in to their lives from the first pages. This book is low angst, with bratty, sassy twinks, loyal friends, and bikers with a heart of gold. The Daddy/ boy dynamic is just right & the sex is steamy. I love this book!
Sarge owns a biker bar. Big, burly, older & bearded, he is the perfect Daddy type. But he isn’t looking for a boy. That is until Davis walks in looking for a job. Davis is timid, but desperate for work. Sarge takes a chance on him. Soon, Davis starts making friends, with both the staff & the regulars. Sarge realizes Davis is the boy he didn’t know he needed.
Come. Join Sarge & Davis on their journey to HEA. Explore with them. Laugh & love with them. Watch Davis transform from a timid kid into a confident man. You will love this book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
I absolutely loved every second of this book!!!
Sarge is my kind of perfect Daddy… he’s caring, he’s loving and he gives his boy time and space tipo make his mind and ti grow.
I loved to see how much Davis grew up in confidence and self worth once he felt like he had a safe place to work and be himself.
Their feelings for each other had time to grow and their relationship was simply a result of their growing feelings. It was natural and perfect!
Sammi and Brittany did an awesome job on this book! I can’t wait for the next one.
loved it!
These authors hit it out of the park with this book. I was hooked from the beginning and read it one sitting. This is what a Daddy book is all about.
I fell in love with Davis right away, and how can you not? He’s such a sweet boy. He’s a twenty-five-year-old man, but because of his shyness and awkwardness, he appears younger. But in this story, it’s not frustrating but spot on, considering what he had to endure during his forming years. But the great thing is the growth in him. Gradually he transforms from shy and awkward to self-confident and even a bit bratty, without losing his sweetness. And it’s all because of Sarge, who is the first one to see Davis.
Sarge is not the bad biker but a big teddy bear with a heart of gold. And he falls for Davis just as hard.
There is quite an age gap between the two men, but it doesn’t matter in the least. Their relationship develops organically and naturally. They have a few kinky moments together, but it was very low key, and I didn’t miss the hot and heavy scenes in the slightest. The chemistry was tangible without explicit sex scenes.
The MCs are supported by a stellar secondary cast with Billy and Lawson as my favorites, but they all have their own place in the story. The bar with the staff members and regular customers felt more than a place of business. The support, the meddling, the bets, the banter all contributed to the overall feeling of being surrounded by family.
I highly recommend this book, and I’m looking forward to future books from these two authors.
Duck, duck, go read this book
“Because he’s mine.” I do love a sexy, growly, possessive man and Sarge fits all that to a tee. He is such a wonderful nurturer. I really wish I could visit his bar just to hear him speak and to get a hug from him. “You saw me when no one else did.” Davis may think he’s invisible but he is a shining star. His softness, his inner strength, his quiet brattiness and most of all his heart carved its way into my own and I dare anyone to not fall in love. The authors, the story, the love, the people (who I hope we see again), and the light they bring is exactly what we need. Everything about this book is fantastic and amazing.
I really liked this book and hope it is the start of a series. This is a Daddy-boy trope but it is one of the best I’ve read. This concentrates on the sweet Daddy-boy relationship, solace and comfort, mutual care. No BDSM (not opposed to this but sometimes it is the major part of a Daddy-boy and that is NOT in this book). Davis is 25 and through tough family circumstances is in desperate circumstances. He applies for a job at Sarge’s biker bar. Sarge has forgone any Daddy-boy relationship for seven years as his last one left him in doubts about his abilities as a Daddy. This is a slow heat relationship as the two get together and overcome their relationship doubts. No triggers that I could see, supportive friends (and a stress on friendship relationships being important to both MC’s), and a positive work/home dynamic. Both characters grow through their relationship. I really liked the various friends and again, hope that they will be given their own books. Highly recommend for a sweet but sexy read. The sex evolves organically – which really just means you wait for it. And that makes so much more sense in terms of the story than sex from page one. Try this one – you will really enjoy it and look for more.
I read dozens and dozens of romance novels each year. This book is one of the best I have read in many years.
I highly recommend it to all.
Loved Davis and Sarge!! Davis had a tragic beginning to his young life, Sarge is the perfect Daddy for him. “His Someone Special” is a great story, hooked me from the beginning. Literally didn’t put it down until I finished it.
I absolutely loved Davis and Sarge and their journey to find love. The Daddy/boy dynamic wasn’t too hardcore or over the top which I personally enjoy. I loved Davis’ personality and the way he pulled people into his world without trying. The secondary characters were amazing and I really hope there will be more stories to come out if this world.
Sarge and Davis’s story had me hooked from the beginning. My heart ached for all Davis had gone through in his young life. Sarge was a take charge biker bar owner. Tough on the outside but a marsh mellow when it came to his friends and employees. It was fate that brought these two together.
They each needed what the other brought to the table. To watch them dance around each other, then slowly make their way towards each other was a joy to watch.Their love making was in itself page melting. The authors did a fantastic job on the characters. Both the main and supporting. After reading this, I hope we get to see everyone else’s story come to print. They are all lovable characters that deserve their happy ever after and it will allow Sarge a little pay back. Once you read this you’ll understand what I mean. I truly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. I will recommend it to all my friends. I received an Advanced Copy for my honest review.
