Even good girls fall in love and make mistakes. Some that lead to life altering secrets.
One weekend, Leah did the most stupid thing she had ever done. She shed all the values that her parents had taught her and did the one thing she had vowed never to do.
Now a year and a half later, she has matured and can stand on her own two feet. And she has the one little man who means everything to her … everything to her and she to him.
Except, she’s not enough. He needs his dad.
Adrian can’t believe that she’s back. Leah. The woman he spent a weekend with and whom he fell hopelessly in love with. Then she disappeared. For one and a half years.
He knows how long it has been because he counted every single day.
How dare she try to waltz back into his life after ruining all women for him?
He’s determined to keep away…until he meets a gorgeous dark eyed little boy – his son.

Good read.
This is the beginning book in The Cohan Billionaire Brothers Series and this is Leah’s story. The book will take you on an emotional roller coaster from a passionate weekend between Leah and Adrian and then she disappears. Their backgrounds were so different in that Adrian was from a family of great wealth and Leah’s were over the top religious. She seemed to have a chip on her shoulder about his wealth. She was a little hard to like at times. He never forgot her and he welcomes her and his secret son back with arms open when she returns. Their chemistry was explosive. Some family dynamics, a little drama and a sweet second chance at love. Adrian was so open and accepting of his son. I read an arc copy and voluntarily chose to review.
This was not a bad story but definitely feels like a Deja vu. I liked the fact that Leah went back to Adrian to let him know that they had a kid together but for me, it felt a bit childish on how she told him he was a father, and how Adrian himself reacted childishly when he saw her again. Then again there was an emergency happening at the same time. The rest of the story felt a bit drawn out to keep you reading but I think I have to keep in mind that Leah and Adrian have a relationship to build back up. She had to also deal with his mother. Mother-in-law needs to chill sometimes, then again maybe it makes sense but that was rude.
overall enjoyable read.

A second chance romance that is well-developed with well-crafted characters that have history. The characters are believably constructed and realistic in their reactions. They begin their relationship after a one night almost a year and a half later and now she already has his son. Will she stay and let him know or not give him a chance. A good read

This was a great story filled with amazing chemistry without being “too much.” I enjoyed getting to know Adrian and Leah. Both came from different backgrounds and they each had to come to terms with living with those differences. Leah has a strained relationship with her parents that has tainted her view and trust level. She has learned to do everything on her own and not have support. Adrian has lived with wealth and all the perks that comes with. He has to deal with family obligations. Overall, this was a sweet clean romance full of sparks.

A well written and entertaining book one in the Cohan Billionaire Brothers series! This captivating book is well-written, engaging, exciting, emotionally deep, and is guaranteed to hold your interest from start to finish. There is lots of drama, back and forth, ups and downs, and more. The characters Leah and Adrian are likeable (especially Adrian); there is a beautiful dynamic and amazing chemistry between them. Quite enjoyable and strongly recommended.

The author wrote such a heart felt story with emotions that will leave you breathless.
I enjoyed the chemistry between Leah and Adrian, but with the insecurity from Leah I did not think this couple would make it to have a happy ever after.
But for you readers, take the time to read this book to find out the ending!

I’d like to give Leah’s parents the benefit of the doubt and think they truly believed the story they sold Leah and weren’t just being mean spirited. Because Leah knew she had gone against her own beliefs, it was easy for them to convince her that Adrian would want nothing to do with Leah and their son. She actually suffers from reverse discrimination. Because he has money, he couldn’t possibly want what was best for his son. I enjoyed this book. I think it could show us all what can happen when we make assumptions and don’t communicate.
Enjoyed reading this story about two very different people. Adrian is from a wealthy family and Leah comes from a over the top religious poor family. They spend a weekend together and when she finds out she is pregnant her family moves them away but she wants her son Matt to know his father so she goes back in hopes Adrian will understand why she left. Loved how he stood up to his family about how they treated her and the way he really loved her. Also loved Leah as she wanted to do the right thing by going back so that Adrian can get to know his son.
best part of the book is it doesn’t have
unnecessary sexual content to make the book intresting it is simple well written love story

A new author to me. An enjoyable read. This story is about Leah and Adrian. They meet at a Christmas party and Leah brings her to Paris with him. They have amazing chemistry and she becomes pregnant after their encounter. Adrian fully embraced being a father and was determined to look after not only his son, but the woman he’s never stopped loving. I didn’t care for Leah’s comments about Adrian’s feel family’s wealth. I look forward to Maisie’s book.

His Secret Baby is a 5 star read that will have you believing in forgiveness and second chances. This book pulled me in from the start and had me feeling many different emotions as I joined Leah and Adrian on their path to rediscovering what they felt and experienced during that weekend they shared a year and a half ago.
Layla Holt balances everything beautifully and whilst not everyone is keen to accept the decisions Leah made, I loved seeing how Adrian fully embraced being a father and was determined to look after not only his son, but the woman he’d never stopped loving. I did feel for him at times because Leah could be a snob about his family’s wealth and status, but she seems to realise this towards the end and I feel this finally allows her to find the courage to be fully open to accepting her love for Adrian.
I’m hoping Maisie gets her own book because I’d love to see her find her own HEA after everything she’s gone through. I’m also hoping we get to see her rebuild her relationship with her father as I feel like it’s broken down from hints given within His Secret Baby. However, I suspect the next book will be Dean’s after seeing him coming face to face in the epilogue with the woman who left him 4 years ago. Talk about leaving the reader wanting to jump straight into the next book!
