A mutinous omega will challenge this royal alpha’s loyalties… own will, and they’re thriving. I wonder if I’d be better off leaving the royal court behind and joining them.
When Cassian catches me stealing a military vehicle to make my getaway, he should’ve thrown me into the dungeons and forgotten about me.
Instead, he helps me. The alpha shows me a side of him that I’ve never seen before. One that I can’t live without.
When we get to the Human Keep, we discover a truth that will change the lives of everyone in Luxoria. Will Cassian stay loyal to our covert mission, even if it could cost him his title and possibly his life?

Really enjoyed this one. So many emotions. Love the characters. Charlet is such an interesting and complicated character. Loved the ending.
A great addition to the series! This was a great addition to the series. It has a slow build up with lots of building tension and fantastic character interactions. I loved how reckless Charalet(sp) is but also how loyal she is. Cassien is perfectly smitten by her and it almost ends tragically for him. The story builds with excitement, I envisioned an action movie in my head that got super exciting right in the middle and gets better because the romance is realized at the same time. I’m looking forward to reading the next in the series.
Another great addition to the royal omega series and this time we get Cassian and Charolet’s story.
They both know that they are one another’s mates but he also knows that she isn’t ready to accept it yet. She wants to defend the downtrodden and he is willing to wait When she heads to the city to find out what is happening there he gos along to protect her knowing that he will be in trouble from the king but not as much as he will be from the queen for allowing one of her ladies to go into danger. When things go pear shaped he will have to leave the two women (Charolet and her friend Rielle) behind to go to the king to tell him what is afoot. Will he get back in time to keep them safe You will have to read to see
Charolet has a lot of integrity and fire in her gut and she’s more than willing to fight the plight of the disadvantaged and downtrodden. It’s hard to fault Charolet because she dies impulsive and irrational (at times), things with all the best of intentions. Once both main characters get out of their own way they see the connection and bond between them, but not without drama and obstacles. What a man will do for his woman and vice versa. Action, danger, heat, fear and frustration lead to a hea ending. The “stuff” at the human keep – awful, but shows great imagination from the authors and added depth to the storyline. Great series.
A Slow Simmering Love Tucked Inside a Ravenous Background Story…
What will keep you coming back to P. Jameson and Kristen Strassel’s The Royal Omegas series isn’t necessarily the love story told at the forefront of each installment. Rather, it is the smoldering, action packed backdrop that will hook you completely and keep you entranced. And “His Rebellious Omega”, the third book in this series, is a perfect example of why.
This one tells the story of Cassian and Charlot. Cassien being the oldest ranking alpha general in King Adalai’s army. The general most attached to the pomp, circumstance, and protocols of his position. A general steeped by the military traditions passed down to him by his father, but also struggling with them as his own intellect, opinion, and personal experience starts leading him to question how things have always been done. And Charlot, an omega and friend to Queen Zelene. A part of her royal court in fact. But also someone fiercely opposed to the status quo and willing to sacrifice anything, go to any lengths, to see her people free from oppression and violence, even commit treason.
What follows is an interesting and emotionally intelligent take on the older man/younger woman relationship archetype. One born inside an even more interesting and unique omegaverse hybrid story world. One that lends more to the greater tale being told. In fact this installment provides information so pivotal to the larger series plot, it almost overshadows the sweet almost adoring coupling of its lead pair.
And while this one may disappoint the sex-ophants, as it is a bit tamer in the physical department. The larger story presented is the richest yet, sheds even more light on the dastardly deeds being plotted against Luxoria. And continues marching you feverishly towards an uncertain potentially perilous outcome for Luxoria itself.
This one is a huge push forward, dropping you deeper both emotionally and physically into the circumstances swirling around King Adalai’s attempt at reunification. It is a solid, suspense riddled addition to the series.
