Never Again…Love almost stole everything from me. My career being the worst possible loss. I never should have bent the rules and dated a student. And now finally, after years of being alone, a pretty nurse has my attention. Caring, curvy, and so damn smart. She has me pacing the floor at night and wishing for things I thought were long since gone. Every part of me aches for a chance at … gone.
Every part of me aches for a chance at stealing her breath, her heart, her body—forever.
But the joke’s on me.
She’s not just a nurse. She’s a student at the college where I work, and the past seems to replay itself over again before my eyes.
Only this time, it’s so much worse than before.
I put restrictions on myself to make sure I don’t have to suffer ever again.
Too bad she wasn’t aware of my rules.
Or maybe she was…

A fantastic, captivating, and heart wrenching story about Kendal a professor of finance who has taken one bad hit after another and Dana a young woman interning in a nursing program who wants to become a doctor. His Many Rules is a witty, passionate, tear jerker about overcoming emotional and verbal abuse along with healing from sorrow and finding true love. A great well written story that readers will be riveted by and will fall in love with Kendal, Dana, and their friends. I absolutely loved this novel and I can’t wait to read the next emotional novel in the trilogy.

Once burned and twice shy UT professor Dr. Kendal Tarrington vows never to become involved with another student until he meets business and Nursing major Dana Young but some unforeseen events threaten their budding relationship. This is the emotional first segment of their saga and includes the multiple broken relationships involving their friends, some hospital drama, some deaths, and Kendal’s struggle to keep his position at the college.

I purchased a copy of The Rules Series book 2 aka His Many Rules book 2: Bending The Rules in The Rules Boxset by Ali Parker and this review is given freely.
While Kendal gets use to life without his sister, he and Dana find ways to be together while trying to avoid the attention of Heather and the rest of the UT faculty. A steamy sequel involving renewed relationships, college faculty subterfuge, a humorous hospital scene, some steamy scenes with Kendal and Dana, and an unexpected twist.
Ends in a cliffhanger.

I purchased a copy of The Rules Series book 3 aka His Many Rules book 3: Breaking The Rules in The Rules Boxset by Ali Parker and this review is given freely.
Emotional and drama packed with happy ending. Misunderstandings and self doubts keep Dana and Kendal apart and make them question their careers. Dana’s sister Ana, Kendal’s first love, shows up and Heather cries rape.
Great read about forbidden love between a professor and a student. Loved it.
Ali Parker does it again. Great book. Amazing characters. Well developed plot and good chemistry. Love her books. Loved this storyline.
Kendal is a college professor who has had trouble with his love life in the past that has left him under scrutiny at his college. This leads to all his rules and avoidance of any encounter that could lead to misunderstandings. Dana is a nursing intern who has just broken up with her boyfriend who abused her emotionally and mentally. Dana meets Kendal while taking care of his sister at the hospital. Kendal and Dana are attracted to each other. While spending time together, Kendal and Dana enjoy each other’s company. Kendal doesn’t know Dana is a student, and a relationship with her could cost him his job at the college. Will Kendal be willing to bend his rules for Dana? Can Kendal and Dana overcome their pasts, or will it tear them apart? I really liked His Many Rules by Ali Parker. His Many Rules will take the reader on an emotional roller coaster ride of passion, drama, heartbreak, triumphs, and a few surprises. I would definitely recommend getting His Many Rules by Ali Parker. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
He lost everything when he had an affair with a student. So he watches what he does. Now he sees a nurse and he wants her but it turns out she is his student. Will history repeat itself? What will he do? See what will happen
ONE INCREDIBLE READ!!!
Oh my, talk about a crash course. This is one exciting, intriguing, heart pounding, pulse racing, smooth flowing, page turning wonder that’s as riveting as it is captivating. All the drama, heartache, fear, uncertainty and suspense increases steadily as tension spirals. Twists and turns, ups and downs, unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises make for one thrilling experience. The two main characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality that really lights up as sparks fly. The scenes are so graphically descriptive it’s easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this little jewel together beautifully. Ali did an amazing job bringing this read to life. Awesome job Ali, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
A great storyline! Hard to put down! Intense and Emotional! Hot Chemistry! I truly enjoyed this read! Get it and Read it!

Kendall, a college professor, almost lost everything hen he fell in love with a student. Now history has a way of repeating itself when he falls for a nurse,Dana. Everything seems to be good between them until Kendall learns she is a student at the college. Both of them have had difficulties with past relations and are willing to bend the rules to make it work.
This is another amazing romance written by Ali Parker that you must read. I voluntarily reviewed a ARC of this book.
Kendal falls for Dana, his sister’s nurse at the hospital. I love the way this book is written. Kendal is so lovable. He hasn’t been in a relationship for two years and he has fallen hard for Dana and she for him. The drama in this will have you screaming “oh, no!!!!” But the aggressive alpha male Kendal is what Dana loves. Circumstances thwart their love at every turn. Can they get past them and make it work?
Superb book. Fantastic story. So utterly romantic. Positively mesmerizing love scenes that will have you curling your toes and screaming YES along with Dana. Spectacularly believable characters with an equally awesome storyline. Absolutely loved it.
This is another fantastic story by one of my favorite authors with great characters, romance and intrigue. He was a college professor who had dated a student six years previously and gotten in trouble with the college. Now he never dated a student. When his younger sister was in the hospital dying, he met a nurse and they started seeing each other. Then he found out she was a student. They went through so much, but the ending was great. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy.
This is an emotional read. He has been burned in the past, she is looking for a true love in her life. The road to their HEA is full of twists and turns. The chemistry is off the charts. I am voluntarily leaving my review of this ARC.
A well written professor/student storyline that has heartache, love and so much more. Dana and Kendall have hot chemistry and their bond is amazing. The story kept me glued to my seat want to see what would happen next. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Whoa! I loved that Kendal got his story! He has been hurt by love in the past, his heart and his career as a professor. Since them he has been on the straight and narrow, too straight if his best friends has any say, and has out all of his extra time into caring for his sister. He can’t help but be attracted to the nurse who has been taking care of her, and not only does that go against his life plan, she is also a student at his college. As much as he craves Dana, he is paralyzed by his past. Can she break through the walls he has put up? No spoilers! You’ll have to read every pulse pounding moment for yourself!
I loved this romance story between Kendall and Dana a student nurse at the hospital where he works, this is sweet and one I will read again and again.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
So many emotions ran through me as I read this book. Kendall is a college professor who has had past issues with dating a student. Dana is a nurse who cares for Kendall’s sister, and is also a student at the college Kendall works at. When they meet at the hospital, they have instantaneous chemistry. Things get complicated when Kendall realizes Dana is also a student. Such an emotional romance these two are involved in filled with much drama and many twists and turns and bumps in the road. Love the commitment to each other to jump all the obstacles in their way to make their relationship work.
Dana is a nurse, she meets Professor Kendal at the hospital while caring for his dying sister. Kendal and Dana have an instant attraction to eachother but when he find out she is a student at the college where he teaches, which has a strict no fraternisation policy their relationship is suddenly in jeopardy. I really enjoyed this book. It was well written with wonderful characters and an emotional storyline. Dana and Kendall were a great couple and had amazing chemistry. The story was filled with drama, twists/turns, passion and love. Highly recommend!

This is the second book in the series by Ali Parker and it is a must have read. Whilst you don’t have to have read, His Many Demands: A Bad Boy Billionaire Novel, it will certainly help you with so many of the connections between the characters. Kendal is the hero in this novel and is an accounting professor at UT and he meets Dana, a curvy nurse who is caring for his terminally ill sister. What he doesn’t realise is that she is a student at his uni and so he is forbidden from dating her. Dana is a feisty young woman full of hope and compassion but also insecurities – especially about her sister. Kendal has had his heart ‘broken’ in the past and because of that he has ‘his rules’. He has so much love to give and so much to offer the woman that he eventually loves. His best friend is Damon who was the hero in book 1 and one of his TA’s, Bethany, is Damon’s love.Just when things seem to be going better for Kendal, a woman from his and Damon’s past comes back to cause trouble and when I say trouble I mean that with a capital T! Secondary characters such as Jackie were interesting but I felt so sorry for her getting mixed up with that creep Parks. Can Kendal and Dana’s relationship survive the scandal, the jealousy and connivance of evil that has entered his life ion a blast from his past? Will he be able to keep his job? Or has Kendal lost everything? I really liked Kendal in book 1 and in this book I learned to love his quiet and gentle determination and Dana was the perfect foil for him. Miscommunication did lead some issues but I did love the conclusion. Ali Parker has, yet again, delivered for us a fantastic read that I thoroughly enjoyed and will re-read in the future as it is just so good. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended
This is an emotional and captivating story! I really enjoyed this new story from Ali Parker! I loved Kendal and Dana!! What an amazing story! What’s with rules!
Such superb Dialogue
I loved this follow up storyline to “His Many Demands” where supporting character Professor Kendal and secondary character Nurse Dana jump up to protagonists. They both come into this relationship with so much baggage that it takes an above average number of chapters to get it all sorted out. What is the saving grace continues to be the hilarious bro buds of Damian and Kendal (Damian and Bethany were the protagonists of His Many Demands). Ali Parker has an exceptional eye for writing dialogue for these two and they are such comic relief that is needed when the story takes itself too seriously.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment. You may want to read His Many Demands first but not absolutely necessary. I am humbled to leave a review of this advanced review book.
