Never Again…Love almost stole everything from me. My career being the worst possible loss. I never should have bent the rules and dated a student. And now finally, after years of being alone, a pretty nurse has my attention. Caring, curvy, and so damn smart. She has me pacing the floor at night and wishing for things I thought were long since gone. Every part of me aches for a chance at … gone.
Every part of me aches for a chance at stealing her breath, her heart, her body—forever.
But the joke’s on me.
She’s not just a nurse. She’s a student at the college where I work, and the past seems to replay itself over again before my eyes.
Only this time, it’s so much worse than before.
I put restrictions on myself to make sure I don’t have to suffer ever again.
Too bad she wasn’t aware of my rules.
Or maybe she was…

Kendal and Dana are so cute together. I loved Kendal as the best friend in Bethany and Damon’s story, so I especially love getting to see his story. And I just want to cuddle Dana close and tell her that true love has no conditions on it. Poor Kendal’s stuck between a rock, a hard place, and a bottomless cliff, with no easy way out of his situation. With Kendal’s past dogging their every step, can this pair ever find their happily ever after? My reality-TV-loving heart has sighed with happiness at the drama that surrounds them. (Even if a part of me is frustrated by how over the top some of that drama is.) Just like Damon and Bethany, Kendal and Dana are so determined to get in the way of their own happiness. They also let a lot of other people get in the middle of their relationship and not all of those were working for the best of either of them. I really liked that this story came down to Kendal and Dana talking honestly with each other, because that’s a valuable life lesson right there. And I really adored the way this book ends. Now I can’t wait to read the rest of the stories that continue to branch out from here.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
An emotional and riveting read
Dana, a nursing intern, meets Kendal, an accounting professor, one day at the hospital while taking care of his sister. As the story progresses his past haunts them, her past taunts them and the present troubles just may break them both. Ali Parker has given the reader an emotional and riveting read in His Many Rules. Sprinkling in some of my favorite characters from her other works, giving depth to her world and creating havoc where necessary, is what I’ve come to expect from Ms. Parker. Her books are engaging and it’s just as fun making all the character connections in each one.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not
Ali Parker is a truly gifted Author that continues to craft realistic scenarios you can envision with ease as well as thoughtful storylines time and again. Each book released by her, keeps you glued throughout. With His Many Rules, you’ll be enraptured and completely enthralled, just like I was. I try extremely hard never to give away any part of the plot, however, there is certainly a reason he lives his life the way he does. Kendal and Dana are going to blow you away. From their initial meeting, which I read twice, to their journey as a whole, I found this to be a heartbreakingly beautiful publication. I encourage all romance reader’s everywhere that you will love this book.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader’s copy of His Many Rules in exchange for my honest/voluntarily given opinion and I, personally, loved it. I can not wait to see what is next from this superb Author.
If you read the 1st book in this series then you know how damn good it was. But this one, it took us on a new journey that left us breathless and needing to know the answer. Kendal and Dana have this love but something always got in the way. When it all went downhill it was like I couldn’t help but cry for them. Finally it got better and their love overcame it all. I absolutely love each of these characters and so can’t wait to read Matt and Erica’s story. This is a must read. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
