Falling in love with the enemy wasn’t my goal.
Life has been nothing shy of entertaining since I was a boy.
Adopted by the wealthiest family in Qatar.
I’m a businessman with no desire for the crown my father wore.
But I wasn’t asked my opinion on the matter. My brother’s too young to rule the country.
With tons of concerns, I concede and take the throne, only to have the most beautiful … throne, only to have the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen show up.
Her timing is almost too perfect.
It’s her persistence or fierceness that holds me completely captivated.
Either way, I want every part of her for my own.
Too bad she’s come to Qatar for one reason.
To destroy me.

An Amazing Story-line, with every emotion there is thrown in. The story of Luke Walton heir to the throne of Qatar and Sophia Holmes will sweep you away. Ali Parker is at her best with this book!
This one was a emotional roller coaster with lots of drama! It was an engaging read with lots of love, sweet and steamy moments between Luke and Sophia, as well as struggles they both needed to overcome to be together. I really liked how their connection grew through the story. They were really great and perfect for each other. The ending was filled with heart warming emotions and had a wonderful HEA for Luke and his Queen!

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!
My heart is full! Ali threw this little jewel out with such passion and finesse it just blew me away. Struggling with all the trials and tribulations as they troll through to find one another on the other side leaves you breathless and craving more. Twixt and twined and stretched to unbelievable limits that keep you grappling, fusing piece after piece together with just enough flaws to make it more interesting. A throng of startling circumstances and a slew of surprising events blast those churning emotions forward in this thrilling storyline and gripping plot. The characters and their personalities are original, tangible and well developed with just enough balance to add spice to the mix. The scenes are graphically detailed with such colorful descriptions it gives you the depth needed for a full understanding how much realism flows out fluidly from each scenario. Awesome job Ali, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
Settle yourself down and prepare yourself for another fabulous story by the best selling author, Ali Parker. Our hero is Luke, who is Prince of Qatar, and who was actually adopted as a small boy. He meets the most beautiful woman that he has ever seen and he is enchanted with her. The only problem being is that Sophie is a journalist and his family like to keep their secrets to themselves. His father wants Luke to become King but he is settled in England now. But there is such sizzling chemistry between these two that neither can refuse to acknowledge. So he asks Sophie to go with him to Qatar to meet his parents as her presence could possibly persuade his mother from thrusting more females at him to marry! Needless to say there is going to be some angst, ,intrigue and fun! No spoilers from me though! I truly enjoyed reading this book and Ali has written it far better than I ever could even dream of. So please get yourself a copy and enjoy! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended.
This is a wonderful story that is full of emotion and depth There will be many questions asked of our main characters will they be able to step up and get the future they want
Sophie a journalist as travelled to London to do an interview with Luke the crown prince of Qatar. Luke doesn’t want to take the throne in fact he has run away to work at one of the families comapny in an attempt to distance himself. As Sophie works on her interview with Luke they begin to develop feelings for one another but can these feelings resist the pressure of their two jobs Added pressure is applied when Sophie learns a secret of the kings and Luke is pressured to return and take the throne. Will they get a HEA You will have to read to see
This was a fantastic novel from Ali Parker about a Middle Eastern prince and an American reporter who enter into a beneficial (for them both) fake relationship, until emotions become real and tensions rise with the Qatar parliament. The chemistry between Luke and Sophia was off the charts explosive. The storyline was beautifully well written with wonderful characters readers will fall in love with. Unworthy Of You was filled with heartache, angst, healing, passion, humorous wit, and love. This is a must read that will captivate reader’s hearts from beginning to end.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”
I was totally enthralled as I turned each and every page of this well written story! The characters were very strongly developed and Luke and Sophia kept me totally entranced until the turn of the very last page!
Each of the main characters were certainly undone by each other. They opened up to each other such that it was like offering a gift to be unwrapped. Trust between the main male and female characters and learning to lean on each other was achieved over the course of the telling of this tale. This was an absolutely lovely lengthy read (but not boring in the least). It seemed as if the two main male and female characters, including the main male character’s mother, brother and best friend, all evolved throughout this story. It is interesting to read about how a turn of events impacts people. In the cases in this novel, challenges were met head on and served to strengthen the core of each character.
Delightful reading!

Oh my this book was so so good. You get the inside scoop of what a king goes through and never knowing if the life you choose will the one given. Luke finds the love of his life in an American woman and his mother for all her faults doesn’t like her. Sophia doesn’t give up. She proves that love can and will happen. In the end they make the the country see that it can and will work out. I give this book 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
I loved this sweeping tale of duty, honor and a love neither thought they would have. Luke has been avoiding the throne of Qatar for years, but he is running out of time. Sophia’s job is her life and when she is tasked with going to get a story on the prince, she can’t refuse. Their attraction is instant, but they both have blinders on when comes to anything in their personal lives. On a whim Luke tells his mother he has a girlfriend and makes a bargain with Sophia. She gets a story and he can get his mother off his back. Sounds good in principal, but when the lines begin to cross will they survive the scrutiny, and the growing passion? Great story, fabulous characters, I loved it!
Luke and Sophia meet when she’s assigned to get the story of his father stepping down as King and Luke taking his place. Luke is resistant to the idea of becoming king, and to Sophia as well. She continues to pursue him for the story and Luke makes a deal with her – accompany him to a family dinner as his fake girlfriend and he will give her the story. Feelings start to develop and Sophia decides she can’t write the story. When his father passes, Luke reluctantly assumes the throne. Can these two individual, with very different backgrounds, find their way to a HEA? This is a wonderfully written book, with great supporting characters (loved the change in Luke’s mother!) and I highly recommend it. I received an advanced readers copy of this book and am gladly leaving this review.
A well written storyline with characters from different cultures. A prince, a journalist and family responsibilities. I enjoyed the chemistry between Luke and Sophia. Luke is the Prince of Qatar but works for the family company in London. His father informs Luke that he is stepping down as King of Qatar. Sophia is an American reporter who was sent on assignment to get a story on the Prince of Qatar. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I enjoyed Luke and Sophia’s story! It’s very interesting and well written. Sophia is a reporter trying to do her job. Luke is a prince whose father is leaving the throne to him. She is trying to get his interview. I enjoyed the battle of wills in this story. The story is intriguing with drama, angst, ups, downs and plenty of twists and turns.
A Prince and a journalist, can they be a couple?
This is a wonderful story about a young journalist that is given the job of getting an interview with a Prince that will soon be King when his father steps down. He’s determined to not give an interview and she’s just as determined to get one. They both come up with ways to get what they each want but neither gets what they want. Finally the Prince agrees but only is she agrees to be his fake girlfriend to his family. This creates all kinds of obstacles as these two find themselves drawn together but others are determined that it’s not going to happen. Who will win? A prince who fights for his true love. Sophia is in England covering a story about the king of Qatar stepping down and she is there to interview his son, Prince Luke. She is not willing to give up although Luke continues to evade her. Luke finally gives up and then convinces Sophia to be his fake girlfriend to take home to the palace. Spending all of that quality time together, Luke falls desperately in love with Sophia even though his mother despises her. This is a really good book, but quite long. An excellent love story with an in-your-face mother who you want to strangle. They will get their happily ever after, but at what cost? Very romantic book.

It’s so much fun watching this stubborn pair try to outwit one another. Luke, trying not to be forced into doing something he doesn’t want to do, and Sophia’s simply trying to do her job. I loved seeing Sophia and Luke find their way back together but hated to see the drama and strife they suffered. I suppose a particularly sensitive person could get a little seasick watching this pair yo-yo back and forth from together to apart, to together to apart. I wasn’t sure how they were going to be able to solve the situation, but this is exactly the outcome I was hoping for. I especially loved watching the whole ‘family’ (best friends included) pull together to make everything possible.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
A very regal romance read
Sophia, an American reporter, is assigned to get a story on Luke, a Qatar prince, and travels to London. As the story progresses questions are asked, cultural divides occur, and their HEA is in question. The depth of character that Ali Parker has puts into her work amazes me every time. With plenty of twists, turns, ups, downs and surprises; Unworthy of You is an intriguing look into romance where cultural differences are involved.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This book has so much conflict. The book could have ended several times if not for interfering people. Luke and Sophia weather the hurdles and issues life has to offer and eventually have their happy ever after.
Ali Parker’s Unworthy Of You
is well written, the plot is interesting, the drama is intriguing, has many twists. Luke and Sophia must go thru it all before they can reach their happy ever after . I really enjoyed reading this one. I definitely recommend this book and author. I have voluntarily read and reviewed this advanced readers copy
I enjoyed this book and liked Luke and Sophia as a couple. They were from different backgrounds but seemed to make the other one tick. Lots of angst and drama as they dealt with his responsibilities and his family issues, especially his mother. The book was a little draggy at times, otherwise, I have no complaints. Sophia was drawn between her career and her love and respect for Luke. No spoiler here, but there’s no cliffhanger and eventually a HEA. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.
