FORDFord had a pretty good life.He was part of a former elite commando team, a talented computer genius, and a member of the Wounded Souls MC. He had a real family with his brothers, their women, and kids. Life was good. Well, it would be except for one big sexy issue—a tall helicopter pilot with a mouth and body made for sin. Lucky didn’t know it yet, but Ford was coming for him.LUCKYAfter the … for him.
LUCKY
After the horrific shooting at the FOB while on deployment, Lucky took the medical discharge the army offered and ran back to the only place he was accepted just as himself. The Wounded Souls MC. After years of being a part-time member, he was now out of the army and healed, ready to do his bit. The only obstacle in his way was in the form of the club’s computer expert and go-to babysitter. His only hope of staying away from Ford and out of his bed was Lucky’s fiancée. But one look at his former lover had Lucky thinking maybe it was time to dig deep for some courage and finally reveal his true feelings, not only to his blood family but to the man who’d captured his heart and refused to give it back.
Did he want it back? Could he finally stand up to his powerful family and admit he wanted to be Ford’s man?

A short, sexy and sweet addition to the Wounded Souls series, His Man packs quite the punch. Despite being a novella from a larger series, I was able to enjoy the story with minimal confusion or real need to have read the other books.
After serving together, forming the Wounded Souls was a natural progression for Ford and his teammates. They relied on each other in the field and still have each other’s backs off the battlefield. Ford couldn’t see a life without his brothers in it. With the club still reeling from the death of one of their own, Ford is concentrating on his teammates wonderful kid’s and trying NOT to concentrate on the one man he can’t have. He’s always known who he was and who he wanted to spend his life with but he is getting tired of waiting on Bryce to figure his shi, I mean stuff out. It’s costing them both precious time and as former soldiers, they all know that more time isn’t guaranteed.
Bryce, or Lucky to the boys, is living a lie. Desperately seeking his family’s approval, he’s on the fast track to a career in the family business (which he hates) and engaged to a woman he can barely stand, especially since he’s in love with a man. Not just any man, mind you, the best man he’s ever known. Ford has been waiting on him for far too long and if Bryce can’t figure out how to break the chains that bind him, he’s going to lose him, forever.
This short story hit all the right notes, sexy, sweet and heartfelt, it was the book that kept giving. I enjoyed all the characters and will be going back to read all their stories, as well. Shiloh, the five year old daughter of the club president stole the show though! Having been raised by a bunch of soldiers turned bikers, she’s adorable and precocious and has the most unique way of communicating with these rough and tumble men. Ill definitely be coming back for Miss Shiloh’s book! Great read!

Oh, Gosh Ford is such a sweet, gentle giant man with a heart bigger than him.
I fell in love with him even more, his nerdiness, his passion for the women & children from the MC left my heart so warm.
I love that the MC accepts and respect Ford the way he is and doesn’t matter he sexuality, they love him fiercely.
Ford is so in love with Lucky, but he never expected Lucky in his life.
Lucky he is engaged to be married to someone who doesn’t care about him just the social status of his family name, and his family is awful, he kept to himself what he indeed is.
This novella is sweet and heartwarming for an MC related, and I love it so much.
Ford love story was truly worth waiting.
5 Amazing Stars.
Woooo Hoooo!!!! Finally, with no immediate threat hanging over the club, the men, women and kids of the Wounded Souls MC can just relax and whoop it up! Well everyone but Ford and Lucky.
The author has given us a wonderful short storyline that will explain why Ford and Lucky have squawabled throughout the series. Their story is one of pride, pier/family pressure, love and finally given in to one’s true self. But as is often the case, when life is finally working in their favor, tragedy strikes. Have they waisted too much time? Will fate give them a third or fourth chance to get it right?
This is a very written storyline and one that this reader has been looking forward too. All the main guys and gals from the MC are present as well as the adorable, yet sassy, 4 year old club princess, Shiloh. It’s a marvelous M/M read that I can’t even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed. Kudos to Ms Sharelle and 2 Huge Thumbs Up for His Man, a 5 Star novella in this humble readers opinion.
With Rogue taken care of, what could possibly be left for the Wounded Souls MC?!? So, so much! This is a novella, telling Ford’s story. And it is HOT, HOT, HOT!
Ford is a man who knows who he is. He knows what he wants. He just doesn’t know how to get it. The one that he wants is still confused, doesn’t know where life is leading and is going down a path that probably leads to a lifetime of misery. Ford is almost at the breaking point.
Lucky doesn’t seem to be so lucky in life. His parents are horrible, he’s engaged to someone that will make him unhappy for life, and he’s denying a large part of who he is and what he wants. There is a lot that he has to change to find his happy.
This book has so much going on, to be a novella. Snooty girlfriends, crazy parents, and visits from the last person I ever expect kept this novella moving at lightning pace. You can’t help but love the guys of the Wounded Souls, and Ford is no exception. His surety of himself is refreshing, and his acceptance by everyone in his life is beautiful. His strength at overcoming adversity and holding out for his perfect forever gives hope that a HEA is waiting for everyone!
