Definitely a page turner that looks at an alternative history of Napoleon’s conquest of Europe.
Interesting characters, including the dragon. Much like light British Napoleonic war fiction, except for the existence of dragons. The dragons are used as fighting platforms by a flying corps reminiscent of WWI.

I didn’t think there could be a new perspective on dragons — I was wrong! The whole series is spot-on with respect to human nature and bureaucracies, with enough adventure and thrills to keep the pages turning.
Great alt-history with dragons book. I think fans of Patrick O’Brien would enjoy this fantasy story.
These books got my son in love with reading. I enjoyed them so much I passed them on to him. They are full of adventure and excitement. Great for teens and adults.
