Maggie has lived a tough life with her alcoholic mother and school was just as bad. I really loved Brax for Maggie and they the confidence she got having him by her side. This is a well written beautiful story with believable characters and one of my favorites from The May Flowers series.
A sweet novella about two people who each bullied as kids, one abused by her mother find each other.
This is another May Flower series book. Magnolia is an amazingly strong woman to have lived the life that she has. She has no real happiness but yet she is not bitter or negative. She is biking to work.one day and gets hit by a car. She is the one to apologize multiple times to the.guy that hit her. She meets Brax who becomes so much more to Maggie in a short period of time. But will Maggie’s Mom ruin everything or will she follow through on her life long threat? Can Maggie take a chance on Brax? A great quick story on how a few twists of fate can change e everything and bring happiness with it.

Dori did a great job with His Magnolia! You won’t be disappointed with this quick, steamy read.
This book is part a multi author set if you haven’t read the flirt club then you need to start They are all quick short reads that really flow well and draw you in.
Magnolia(Maggie) hasn’t had a great life so far she has a totally self centred mother who doesn’t care about her daughter at all and she was relentlessly bullied while she was at school and now she has relieved a invitation to the reunion and if she goes she knows she will be bullied again as she doesn’t have a partner or even a date to take with her Could her life get any worse. Eh yes when she is riding her bike to work she is knocked off by a car when she comes round she is lying on the ground and a total stranger with beautiful eyes is asking if she is ok She says she is fine and heads to work When she comes out of work that evening Brax is there with a new bike for her and he takes her to dinner As they talk they realise they have much in common they where both bullied at school as Maggie tells him about the reunion he offers to go with her. Will the rich handsome Brax finally make Maggie realise what she is really worth You will have to read to see
I loved this sweet novella.
Maggie stole my heart.
I thought she was so sweet,so innocent and such a kind person.
Bullied her whole life has taken a toll on her.
Brax what an absolute sweetheart.
He’s not only sexy and successful.
But he’s so sweet and considerate.
It will take a special man to heal Maggie’s heart and soul.
I think Brax is the perfect man for the job!

This was such a lovely, heart-warming story. It was really gripping, and it had such a different vibe to the usual ‘New Adult Romance’ theme. It is about a girl that has been worn down by nasty comments her whole life. When she meets Brax, she realises it’s time to change, to come out of her shell, and to throw away the shackles that have held her back.
We really feel for Maggie, as I’m sure we all know someone that went through what she went through at school. I was lucky but my sister not so much. So I could really resonate with her and felt everything that she was going through. She is such a likeable character that you are rooting for her and really hoping that she gets the fantastic happy ever after that she deserves!
We don’t get to know Brax that much which is a shame, we are given his credentials but I would have liked to hear his ‘voice’ a little more, he seemed like he was the perfect gentleman and ‘right’ for Maggie, but I wanted to make sure that he was by seeing his side of things. I guess I felt quite protective of Maggie!
Overall, a really excellent addition to the Flirt Club’s May Flowers series!
Maggie and Brax two unlikely people ever to meet each other but, turn out to be kindred spirits. This story is so sweet, for Maggie to finally break out of her boring life and truly live with the love and support she deserves.

His Magnolia is a lovely story that reminds us that the truth is not always what it seems. In order to find your own happiness, you have to be ready to reach for it. Magnolia Anderson’s home life is miserable with a mother who doesn’t care about her and never has. How can she when the only thing she cares about is herself! Maggie was terribly bullied all through school and has mixed feelings about going to her class reunion when she receives the invitation in the mail. If only she had a date. On her way to work, Maggie has an accident when her bike and a car almost collide. She’s thrown to the ground and wakes up with beautiful eyes staring at her and the man behind them asking if she’s okay. Yes, she insists, she’s just fine and needs to get to work! When she leaves the library, there’s the same man, Brax Nash, standing beside a new silver bike. Things fall into place for them and the next thing they know, they’re having a drink together discussing each life story. It’s such a surprise that they share the same story of bullying, sadness and hopelessness during their school years. Brax challenges her to go to her reunion and show them the beautiful woman he sees in front of him. Awww….sweet and such feels! They are perfect together…absolutely everything feels right. The pieces of their lives fit firmly into place when they stand beside one another. Dori Lavelle weaves magic into this charming story of love as it was fated to be.
Absolutely fantastic! This is a compelling, thought-provoking, passionate, steamy read! The storyline is fast pace, well though-out, inspirational, and emotionally deep. The characters are amazing; their chemistry is instant and off the charts. This book will captivate you from page one and hold your interest until the very end cheering in support of Magnolia. Definitely recommended!

With just a few words and a whole amount of heart Dori Lavelle, says a great deal. His Magnolia reminds that being different doesn’t make a person, any less beautiful. True beauty comes from within. A message that bears continuous repetition.
Wonderf Story that touched my heart
What a wonderful story. It touched my heart at so many levels. Maggie and Brax are sweet, sexy and meant to be.
Maggie feels like a nothing and her mother helps to perpetuate those feelings. An accident results in her meeting Brax. The man that sees her as more Through him Maggie finds her courage and finds herself.
