Going about her mundane life in a small fishing village, Alethea never dreamed she would end up with a man like the Earl of Deanswood, yet when she caught the handsome gentleman’s eye he wasted no time in making her his wife. Unbeknownst to Alethea, however, her conniving mother has convinced Deanswood that she has no interest in the marital bed. Devastated by his seeming disinterest, Alethea … searches for someone to instruct her in the ways of enticing a man.
When a friend informs Deanswood of Alethea’s plans, he decides to train his new bride himself. Soon enough, Alethea finds herself naked, blindfolded, and helplessly bound as she is thoroughly spanked and then brought to one blushing, quivering climax after another. But when Alethea’s life is threatened by her mother’s vicious scheming, can Deanswood protect his innocent bride?
Publisher’s Note: His Innocent Bride is a stand-alone novel which shares the Regency-era setting of Wickedly Used. It includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

His Innocent Bride. Steamy! Steamy! Steamy hot! Oh my lord this book was divine.
It was a tasty treat to read for my brain. This book was smoking hot with wicked pleasure and temptation. Aletha and Deanswood wanton ways lead the couple into euphoric pleasures that they void to each other to never return from. The author of this wildly erotic story was magnificent. Her BDSM scenes among the characters was sensual and very thrilling.
I thought that the writer did a great job with adapting a drama plot to the story that mingled well with the romance of the story. I had a great time reading about the characters. I feel that each character did a fantastic job adding powerful roles to the entertainment that was outstanding. I must say the I liked the most was Stonehurst. His character was so strong and in control of all the situations that transpired around him.
This book was so sexy and so erotic that I was hot in all the right places. Deanswood and Aletha brought some fire to the bedroom that made this book a good choice for me to read. Until next time my fellow readers… read on!
The Earl’s convenient marriage!
by sewsummore
The marriage between the Earl of Deanswood and Aletha was a marriage of convenience for the Earl, but Aletha fell in love with him at their first meeting. The Earl hoped that the marriage would lift his mother’s spirits after the death of her husband and eldest son and he was pleased with his choice of wife until a vicious woman caused conflict within the marriage with her lies. When the Earl avoided his wife’s bed chamber, and she had learned he had invited his mistress to their wedding reception, Aletha was distraught with his change in behavior. She feared that she was unsuited to the position of Countess and sought out a tutor who would teach her how to seduce her husband. When the Earl becomes aware of her intention, he decides to become her tutor himself. I found this book an entertaining read, the storyline had several unexpected twists, but ended happily for the wedded pair

The book had possibilities, while the story is action packed with lies, hate, betrayals, greed, twists and turns and many secrets the execution was lacking and needs to have some better world building, explanations and background. The book was more about the spankings. some borderline abusive and the other erotic elements than the actual story line. I also hated that he called her Chick all the time, that was a total deal breaker for me, but I finished the book as I wanted Alethea’s viper mother and Elder George to get what they deserve, the book did not disappoint on this.

Alethea and Deanswood: a love story, with a wicked side and a bit of horror and danger!
by Happy-Girl
The Earl of Deanswood needs a wife, and when he sees Alethea, he thinks she’s the right one for him.
Alethea is young and innocent. She lives in a little fishermen village, and she doesn’t know anything about the world and even less about the ways of marriage. When she meets the Earl, she’s very impressed and found herself eager to learn everything and be a good wife.
But… there is a but! Her evil stepmother tells the Earl she’s a prude, a cold fish that doesn’t look forward to the marriage bed.
The Earl is disappointed and treats his bride coldly, and then Alethea looks for a tutor to teach her how to please her husband!
At first, the plot is predictable, there is a misunderstanding that will last for a while, but then there is the tale of this Regency era, strict on one side and wicked on the other side, the one that the Earl will show Alethea in disciplining her!
There are some quite explicit scenes, and then there is a kidnapping and the menace of a more dangerous fate!
But the Earl is the hero, and he will save her, and we have a HEA at the end.

Alethea is a simple girl from a fishing town. The Earl of Deanswood has to have her and they marry. Then Alethea’s mother is playing trouble maker and tells all kinds of lies. She is a deceitful woman. There are problems from the start and they all go back to her mother. She tells him that her daughter does not want to participate in the marriage bed and then he gives her the cold shoulder. She is taken with him from the first meeting and cannot understand why he is like this, so she wants a tutor in the arts of the bedroom. So she is blindfolded and it is the husband who is the tutor. This is full of twists and turns and a deceitful mother. I really enjoyed this book, and it kept me engaged from the beginning.

This book is erotica with a horrible story line. The sex scenes were a little too “abusive” for me. Spanking is one thing, I thought this went further. The story line between Lord Deanswood and Alethea was weird. So many things about this book were just weird for me…the story line, the characters in the book, how the H & h interacted with each other. Lord Deanswood called his wife “Chick” all the time, drove me nuts! Short book, which was good, story line couldn’t of supported a longer book.

There is a snake in the grass!
Alethea lives in a small fishing village but when the Earl of Deanswood sees her he knows she is the one he has to have. Now there is a snake in the grass called mom! This snake causes problems for Alethea because she thinks her husband does not want her so a plan is made! When her husband finds out about it all bets are off! Mom makes a wonderful villain the challenges she introduced were outstanding. Lies and secrets, danger, and suspense it was an awesome read. Yes, there is spanking and some wonderful steam so if you do not like that stay away from the book but I enjoyed it that is why it is on my kindle so I can re-read this one over and over again.

Remarkable job Kryssie, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.
Slow start and then it picked up speed. An historical tale, with lies, secrets, greed, spankings, mystery, suspense, domination, erotic sextual sceenes which makes this a really hot sexy story. Aletha is so innocent and doesn’t understand why her husband did not come to the marriage bed. I love that she goes and hires a tutor to teach her about seduction. It’s fun that she is always blindfolded and Viscount Stonehurst gets Deanswood to be her tutor. Enjoyed the story. Well, this book started with a bang of erotic images then went into the storytelling. I thought the story should have evolved throughout the book but it was like it was thrown in at the end. I wanted more of her father and the religious cult. The sex scenes were very hot but the story needed more direction. I did like the main characters and I especially liked Stonehurst (give me a wounded guy any day).
