My indentured servitude is almost over and freedom is a heartbeat away! Until some alien guy buys me because he needs a nanny, quick. What? I’m not even good with kids. I’ve never changed a diaper in my life. But the beings at the employment agency won’t listen. “Hew-mans are hot right now. Everyone wants a hew-man nanny.” Great. And since there isn’t another human available…I’m hired on the spot. on the spot.
Yay, me.
And on day one of my new job I’m having a panic attack because I finally meet my new boss and he looks like Satan himself. No lie. Black horns, red skin and glinting silver-tipped claws. He even has a barbed tail, a forked tongue, and he breathes fire. This guy is terrifying, and his children look exactly like him.
heart palpitations hyperventilating
And yet, as I’m caring for these strangely adorable infants and gazing longingly at my crazy-rich boss as he cradles his twin babies in his huge, muscular arms…my traitorous heart goes pitter-patter and my body heats up like lava.
Oh no.
And I begin to wonder—have I sold my soul to the devil?

I enjoyed this tremendously! I knew from reading the blurb that I was going to enjoy this and I’m so glad that it didn’t let me down. I loved our main couple Riley and Aegir and the author did such a good job at building the tension between them. Not only that, reading about slowly becoming a family really stole my heart!
I enjoyed this and can’t wait for the next book that’s about Chloe and Bergelmir!
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that I liked this story so much, as I’ve enjoyed all of the author’s book that I’ve read so far. It’s a sweet romance that revolves around Riley and Aegir and his twin babies. I enjoyed the interaction and the family dynamic as it unfolded in the story. Added to that, the element of suspense culminating in danger adds to the spice of a HEA. My only regret is that it is a little short, I would have liked it to have been longer.
The writing and editing was pretty clean, with few typos that I caught in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building was a subtle part of this story, but what there was of it was well done. The characterization was great, with both the hero and heroine being sympathetic, vibrant individuals. The hero’s determination to treat the heroine honorably according to his cultural values was especially heartwarming. The development of the romantic relationship happened organically, especially considering how short the page count of this story was. I was a little disappointed at the length of this story, because I feel like this author really shines best with a longer page count. The plot and pacing was lively, with me turning the pages quickly to find out what was going to happen next. There was low angst in this novel and medium stakes, which I thoroughly enjoyed in this story. I typically like sky-high stakes in my romances, but I really enjoyed the medium stakes in this story by this author. This story uses the Virgin trope, the Nanny or Governess trope, and the heroine is plus sized and enjoys the outdoors, which thrilled me. The author did really thoughtful representation here, which tends to be a hallmark of her writing. The world building, plot, and pacing in this novel was four stars. The development of the romantic relationship and characterization was also four stars. The combined score of this novel was therefore four stars. This story ends on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus to this story. I recommend this story to readers who would enjoy a fun, trope-heavy sci-fi romance romp. I plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this story.

Riley is a geriatric caretaker on her first assignment with babies. Not what she was expecting. In fact the first time she laid eyes on her employer, she screamed and passed out!
Aiger is retired military turned financial whiz. When his twins are dumped on his doorstep, he needs help fast at any cost!
This a light, entertaining story about what makes a family. Enjoy!
His Human Nanny was so adorable, I fell in love! This was a sweet, sexy funny romance between a curvy human and an alien who looks like Satan! It was delightful to read about Riley and Aegir as she learns about his species and how to take care of his twins. The quickly become a family unit, Riley fits into his home and his life like she was meant to be there. There is some great drama to add some danger and I loved every moment with these characters. Her writing style is charming and you are effortlessly pulled into the world she has created. I cannot wait for more in this series and I am going to be getting the rest of Ms Mills’ books immediately!
This is such a good alien romance! I enjoyed it! It is sweet and steamy, cute and fun. It’s full of laughs and has loveable characters.

Riley goes to work for Aegir as a babysitter. Aegir is a man who definitely knows what he wants and when he sees Riley for the first time it is instant and all encompassing. He will do anything to have her and protect her. I loved the chemistry and passion between Aegir and Riley. It’s a romantic story with erotic scenes and a happy ending.

His Human Nanny transports you into a world where Hyrrokin look like well, the devil, for lack of better words. This may offset a few readers, but we all know that’s a fantasy we’d take in a heartbeat.
Back to the story, Aegir and Riley were the perfect fit for each other. Billionaire Hyrrokin who just so happens to have two adorable babies meets curvy human? They fit together perfectly, and their differences complimented each other. I will say, this book was definitely a slow burn opposed to a fast and hard one. Was it worth the wait? Yes. Would I have liked more action? Yes again.

I really enjoyed this story. Riley was cute and loveable. Aegir, alien and alpha, two of my favorite things. The author does a great job building the world these characters live in, and she builds these characters so well, you cant help but to adore them. I love that she only gives a tease about the background characters, though, just enough to draw you in, but still leaves you wanting to read more about them. Overall, this was a fun, easy read. I thought it was super cute and I am very excited to read the next in this series.

His Human Nanny is book 1 in the series Monsters Love Curvy Girls by Michele Mills. After reading her apocalyptic books that were super good I thought I would try something a little different. The book was very entertaining. I loved Riley and Aegir Touchstone. Who would have thought aliens could be so freaking hot! I can hardly wait for Chloe and Bergelmir’s book.
This was a great read. I liked the crazy twist in the plot , it gave the story an edge. The characters personalities shined through. The family dynamics was pretty crazy, but entertaining. The storyline was spot on. The ending was cute.

I truly enjoyed every moment of this book. Riley is such a fun, easy going and loveable character, you just find yourself wanting to know her in real life. Meeting Aegir and the rest of his family for the first time is hilarious and immediately engages you into their evolving love story, not just with each other but also his beautiful babies. I had so much fun reading this book and being drawn further into the craziness that is Michelle Mill’s imagination, I loved meeting this new type of Alien and learning about their customs and lives. Can’t wait for the next one!
