My indentured servitude is almost over and freedom is a heartbeat away! Until some alien guy buys me because he needs a nanny, quick. What? I’m not even good with kids. I’ve never changed a diaper in my life. But the beings at the employment agency won’t listen. “Hew-mans are hot right now. Everyone wants a hew-man nanny.” Great. And since there isn’t another human available…I’m hired on the spot. on the spot.
Yay, me.
And on day one of my new job I’m having a panic attack because I finally meet my new boss and he looks like Satan himself. No lie. Black horns, red skin and glinting silver-tipped claws. He even has a barbed tail, a forked tongue, and he breathes fire. This guy is terrifying, and his children look exactly like him.
heart palpitations hyperventilating
And yet, as I’m caring for these strangely adorable infants and gazing longingly at my crazy-rich boss as he cradles his twin babies in his huge, muscular arms…my traitorous heart goes pitter-patter and my body heats up like lava.
Oh no.
And I begin to wonder—have I sold my soul to the devil?

I can’t say enough of this book. First you have a human woman working at the intergalactic employment office and ready to sign off her contract is complete, when she is told she is needed at a new job. An alien needs her to be a nanny for his twins, which she is trained in geriatrics, but she is needed and she goes. What happens next had me peeing in my pants! This author has done such a wonderful job with the characters and the story line. I loved the heat between Riley and Aegir and the laughs.

I have never read any of Ms. Mills’ books before I saw a preview of His Human Nanny. Boy, was I missing something. There are a lot of human/alien books available out there, but very few have a down to earth feel. Riley and Aegir both have things thrust upon them that they just have to suck it up and make the best of it. They manage to move through their issues, not perfectly, but splendidly. You come away with the feeling that these are good people (aliens), even if they are physically something from a ‘hew man’ nightmare. This is a sweet story, focusing on Aegir and Riley discovering each other and learning about themselves. Good characters, humor and a happily ever after. What more could you want? Oh yeah – Bergelmir’s story.

This was such a super book. I enjoyed it so much. The story line is fantastic and the story never drags. It’s also a curvy girl story. His Human Nanny was a wonderful story with Riley and human who’s drafted to be a nanny for one year on Hyrokkin. When she transports to her last job with the Intergalactic Employment Agency and opens her eyes she screams and faints. When she come to she’s in the arms of Aegir a huge red male, with black horns, forked tongue, barbed tail and silver tipped claws. She thinks she’s just met Satin. She gets over that and ends up fitting as if she was made to live in his house and take care of his twin children. I loved the story and the characters were perfect. Highly recommend. The book moves along quickly and is very well-written. I loved Aegir, he is a good man and a very good father, one who has found himself in a position of having to look after twins who he didn’t know existed until their mother turned up on his doorstep to drop them off. The only problem is in their culture that means they are bound. He is trying to get out of it as he is convinced she tricked him, maybe even drugged him, into getting her pregnant after one date and a whole bunch of stalking. He hires a human nanny, Riley, to help him with the twins. The two have instant chemistry but he is unable to act on it because of the situation with the mother of his babies. I loved the two of them together and the fire breathing babies are just hilarious.

adorable and sexy!
It was a really fun read! Riley description of Satan was dead on i was laughing so hard The satan who actually is an alien who happens to look “like satan” will have you swoon! I like the story and freshness of it! I read this with my kindle unlimited.
I started this book with an open mind. Not usually my type of book, I was intrigued by the blurb, so I decided to give it a read. I am so glad I did. The author knows how to reel you in and keep you wanting more, so you will keep turning pages well into the night. The attraction that Riley and Aegir feel for one another is undeniable, in spite of their differences. In all, i really enjoyed this book by Michele Mills, who is a new author to me.

I have to say, Michele has some imagination, wow. To combine our technology, only better with a race with horns and fire coming out of nostrils, I have to say very funny. What I really need after I read this story, is a high grade food dispenser, that would be so cool. All in all it was a short good story with over the top characters and two super sweet alien babies.
This was a very sweet & steamy read! Hot and intense single guy falls for the curvy human nanny. Perfect read for any night of the week. I can’t wait to read about his brother, too!!
I fell in love with this story. Riley and Aegir were so perfect together. They both felt an instant attraction to one another. While their relationship has to be put on hold, it does not stop their feelings from growing stronger each day. A beautiful romance complete with a HEA.

I absolutely love the female lead in this book, bubbly and funny, although all of the characters are well thought out and believable (even for aliens!). I enjoyed the story line which had me giggling or steamy. Highlight of the week to read this. Highly recommend.

This is a great book . I love Riley and Aegir. It’s a great story I would definitely recommend it. I can’t wait till Bergelmir and Chloe’s story in His Human Surrogate.

What’s not to like about the alien version of nanny-romance, especially when the H was the incarnation of the devil, literally!? Well, not in the personality, but physically devils like species that breath fire. A perfect entertaining story. I’m sold from the blurb alone; and when I read it, it was entertaining and fun to read. I find myself to smile and chuckle from time to time reading this. The h is a perfectionist-no-nonsense-yet-caring-and-warm nanny who actually a geriatric care professional. While the devil-look-alike H is sexy-brooding single father alien mogul. A good combo, I dare say. The dynamic was hilarious but also sweet warming. What I like from the book is that, although this is an instalove story, the romance is not only focusing on the dynamic between MCs but also the H’s family, neighbours, and h’s friend. The detail that is put together on these supporting roles was nice reading and adding a warm tingly familial feeling to the book.
I loved it! I loved it! I loved it! And I want more. I loved Aegir, he’s such an amazing alien and both Bergelmir and Bestla Touchstone, though supporting characters, are wonderful, too. Riley has finally found her happiness.

Delightful! Riley is just one breath close to ending her contract. She is on her last day, her bags are packed and all she has to do is keep her head down. She just needs to sign and authorize her exit documents, then she’s done! She keeps talking and expressing her dissastifaction. She neglected to fully read the document. Small print says she is only released if no client requests her. Her work ethic is her weakness, so she could remain employed forever! She gets a small amount of pay and hte agency keeps the rest. She persuaded her last employer to give her a poor review, so if she would just sign the darn form . . . Then Riley got a request and a new assignment. Her initial reaction set the stage for her new relationship. Aegir and his brother Bergelmir were a hoot. Aegir and Riley are each secretly attracted to each other. Bergelmir is bound to another, so Riley is forbidden. Their dance is fun to watch. Kritan, is his baby mama and she brings the drama. Can Aegir pursue a relationship with Riley? Is Riley open to a relatiosnhip wtht Aegir? How does Aegir’s famil feel about Riley? Can she handle the twins? Good development. Nice, likeable characters. Well done! Riley is just a human girl who takes pride in her job. She does such a good job that she keeps getting good reviews and is in high demand. Apparently all humans are in high demand within the universe. Just when she has found a way to finally break her contract she gets dragged back in for one last job. Just when she thinks she’s going to regret it, she finds herself failing in love with her boss and his entire family.
This was such a sweet story. I enjoyed it very much, especially her time spent with the children. I loved that Aegir would do anything to please her even when she doesn’t want him to, trying to keep things professional and all. I like that it was part of the bigger universe this author has created so you aren’t confused about who or what these species are. Also loved the fact that Riley is a BBW. Really wonderful quick read.
This was a nicely written, quick read with the obligatory HEA. The characters were sweet and you soon find yourself hoping Aegir might be just a little less honorable. I’m looking forward to his brother’s story.

The first book in the Monsters Love Curvy Girls series a well written story that had me laughing at somethings as I read. Like when Riley first meets Aegir, her charges Father and faints! I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Riley Anderson was almost through with this Intergalactic Employment Agency! She had signed up for a year and they kept her for five years! She loved the work, but they hardly paid her anything. They took most of her paycheck for themselves. But today is her last day of work and she can leave the agency! Sadly, the contract she had signed five years ago stated in small print that she could only leave if no one else had requested her. She did such a good job, because she really did like the work, that she got 5-Star ratings and was highly sought after! And there was no “end date” on the contract! Truthfully, she cares about her clients and gives them her best, so knowing about the clause would not have stopped her from signing up.
Riley was just about to sign the exit documents when a red light and alarm went off, indicating an urgent need for a human and Riley was the only human they had available. She would not be leaving after all. Worse yet, it’s a nanny position – Riley specializes in geriatrics, not babies! But she negotiates with them for more money, an apartment upgrade, and transporter costs paid for. And this is the last job. She never saw a Hyrokkin before, but she has worked with many aliens and they all want the same thing humans do – to be loved and understood. If she treats the baby like it was her own – if she ever had one – it should work out fine. She stands on the transport pad and is beamed to the other side of the universe. But when her vision clears, a huge red male with horns, a forked tongue, a barbed tail, and silver-tipped claws is standing in front of her – during her first transport, she is convinced she died and went straight to Hell! She lets out a scream and everything goes black around her as Aegir catches her in his arms!
This is Book 1 in the “Monsters Love Curvy Girls” series, and it is riotously funny! The story line is wonderful and it keeps getting better. I loved the characters, particularly Riley’s loving, dependable personality with her clients and professional attitude toward her job. I also loved Aegir Touchstone, especially when he first met the nanny. Aegir knows exactly what he wants and his feelings for Riley run deep as she appears to be his mate. Will she return his feelings? Or will she need to stay aloof and professional even though she can feel the chemistry with her new boss! Grab your copy and see what’s waiting for Riley – especially with no experience dealing with TWIN fire-breathing babies, 6 weeks old, who routinely set the couch on fire. The story is wonderful and the characters make it perfect!
