Paranormal Dragonshifter Romance
Dragon Lords 5: His Highness The Duke
The would-be heroine…
Aeron wants nothing more than to continue to live out her very long, solitary life in a small metal room listening to communications for the Federation Military. It’s not glamorous. It’s not even charming. But it’s safe. There’s no chance of getting hurt.
When she intercepts a communication about the … intercepts a communication about the impeding genocide of the Qurilixian people, she has no choice but to act. No one at the Federation seems inclined to do anything about the threat and suddenly it’s up to her to save a whole planet. Enlisting the help of her degenerate sister, Aeron finds herself signed up as a prospective bride to the very barbarians she’s trying to save.
The man who did not need saved…
High Duke of Draig, Lord Bron, is not looking forward to his seventh failed attempt at a marriage ceremony, but when he sees the lovely Aeron he knows instantly his years of waiting have finally paid off. The gods have blessed him with a life mate… or have they? His new bride is insistent she’s not there for marriage, but for a mission. It’s up to Bron to convince her to stay, or risk spending the rest of his life alone.
ABOUT THE SERIES (Books 5-8):
The Noblemen brothers aren’t new to the sacred Qurilixian bridal ceremony. After several failed attempts at finding a bride, it’s hard to get excited about yet another festival. No matter how honorable they try to live, it would seem fate thinks them unworthy of such happiness–that is until now.
With very few words spoken and the shortest, most bizarre courtship in history, they will bond to their women forever. And once bonded, these men don’t let go.

Aeron is a communications specialist and has intercepted information about a pending attack on a primitive planet. Her Federation bosses don’t care, as long as the supply of ore from the planet isn’t interrupted. Aeron can’t stand to let the planet be attacked without at least warning them. She skips out on her job, seeks out her gallivanting, gambling, but savvy sister; Riona, to help her find a ride to the planet of Qurilixen. Riona’s solution? A ride on a Galaxy Brides ship, posing as women seeking alien husbands. After they land on Qurilixen, Aeron runs into more than she bargained for in Lord Bronislaw, (Bron for short) High Duke of Draig, who believes that they were fated to be together. This story is a fun one. Will Aeron and Bron be able to work through a series of misunderstandings and cultural differences and make a life together? Or will she leave as soon as she can leave the warning about the impending attack and find a ride back to her world and the job she enjoys? If you like steamy paranormal romance with twists and intrigue, I recommend it! I can’t wait to read Riona’s story.
Aeron and Lord Bron make a fantastic couple in this must-read plot. I volunteered to read an advance copy for an honest review.
I love this author and I love the dragon Lawrence. I haven’t read them in a while so reading this one threw me back into that world and it makes me want to go back and re-read all the other ones
This book is entertaining and filled with action and adventure. The chemistry and interaction between the characters of Aeron and Bron is great. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Seven Time’s the Charm
Michelle M. Pillow’s fifth book in her ‘Dragon Lords’ series continues with the prince’s royal cousins and their fated mates. Bron and Aeron, the main characters, have broken some of the wedding festival rules. This is Bron’s seventh time attending the festival trying to get a bride. The adventures that Bron and Aeron must go through are rough, sad and funny at times. This book was so good I couldn’t put it down. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!
Another dragon meets his mate. In a world full of men who still have old fashioned ideas about women, the strong women who become their mates are changing their minds one Duke at a time. Bron slowly learns that women are not content to sit by the sidelines, but instead want to be part of the action. What he does with this knowledge remains to be seen, but you’ll enjoy the reading of Bron’s and Aeron’s story.

This was simply captivating, it had everything I’d expected by this author
Aeron is who is human female that had been dispatched on a specific task and that is to save the Quurilixian people from an expected attack. She is one of the females that have signed up as one of the Brides as a way of helping their communities and families as they take on their new lives in society.
She has not realised that dragons always mate for life what her love serves a second chase and I ich is fairly similar for all shifters and the way they act once that they have been able to find their Fated Mate, which is a supremely exciting factor as this does not happen all that often, a Fated Mate is extremely exciting and means an awful lot to all types of shifters.
Lord Bron has no interest what-so-ever in the new listing of females who are looking to the potential mates arriving at any moment. Lord Bron is interested in the meeting but is not interested in the interruptions you have to put up with when waiting for chance to escape.
She explains that she is not interested in marrying him however, she is determined that the mission she has undertaken should be allow them to have a delightful marriage and she is totally blown away by the talent and also her new husbands.
i voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
The Duke Takes a Bride
While not as long as the first four books in this series, the story is still rich and emotional. Aeron never intended to get married, and Bron has waited a long time for his bride. These two have their differences cut out for them. I liked how the lesson Bron had to learn about how to have a happy wife was to respect her – here here! I’m excited to read how the rest of this second half of the series plays out.
This was a Alien shifter story. Galaxy Brides has been contracted to bring brides to the Dragon shifters home world. Bron has not bonded with a bride in the past 7 Bride Festivals and doesn’t think he will this time either. Aeron is a Federation communications analyst who wants to save Bron’s world. She makes some unusual choices in order to do so. This is their story. I loved the characters even though Bron and the Dragon shifters are a bit misogynistic. I would recommend the story because it was entertaining and easy to read. It also had an HEA.

Book 5 in the Qurilixen Galaxy Brides Series. Another great story!
Aeron Grey is working as a civilian communications specialist for the Federation. She intercepts a message indicating that the Tyoe are planning a possible genocide attack on the planet of Qurilixen. She brings it to her bosses attention and they tell her they don’t care. The Qurilixen are not under the protection of the Federation. She and her sister Riona are the only survivors of their planet. It was targeted and destroyed while they were on their way home from an outing. She cannot let that happen to another planet without warning them. All of her communications are monitored, so she tracks down her estranged sister and begs for her help. Riona gets them a “ride” to Qurilixen on the Galaxy Bride Ship. She doesn’t tell Aeron until they are on their way to the planet. Aeron is horrified at what her sister has done, but she can’t really do anything about it. She figures she will tell the King about the pending attack and then get back on the ship and leave. It doesn’t quite work out that way for her as she is picked as a bride by the “crystal”. Her groom is Lord Bronislaw, the nephew of the King. Bron has not been blessed with a bride for the 5 years he has been old enough to attend, and he figures this year will be the same. Imagine his surprise when he is blessed with a bride, but the bride doesn’t want anything to do with him. Every time Aeron gets close enough to the King to tell him, something happens. Bron carts her off to a mountain cabin at the King’s orders, to get his marriage under control! Can they work out their differences and learn to trust each other in time to save the planet? A great book with lots of twists and turns.

Its fun action packed and really an original idea and kept my interest
.I loved the modern heroine and the new planet that is primative or is it? idea. Also the Galaxy brides and how they came about is an interesting twist. Their is danger, excitement, family interaction and I loved the new types of plants and animals. It is a little too steamy for me but I must admit I do want to hear what happens to the other brides. So its a good read.
This book was shorter than the first 4 but it was good in it’s delivery, lots of twists and turns in this one folks. I highly recommend giving it a read. In the fifth book of the Dragon Lords series we learn of what happen if you don’t get to choose a wife at the bridal ceremony. Lord Bronislaw the high Duke of planet Qurilixen has been through this before 6 times maybe 7 he has really decide that if it doesn’t happen for him this time he was not going to attend any more instead he will live the rest of his days out alone wifeless and childless .But he’s luck will change for the better or so he hopes this time around
Aeron Grey and officer for The Federation overhears a transmission of a possible take over and possible destruction of Qurilixen for it Ore. There’s no way in hell she was going to let a thing like that happen again, it how she lost her people and it’s home. When she confronts her bosses to help and they in turn do nothing she seeks the help of her sister. They both leave and meet up with Galaxy Bride’s and find there way to the planet to warn it’s people. Only one snag she is there as a bride and no one will listen. She is chosen by Bron and the wedding night goes wrong. There are a lot of twists and turns in this book and even more things to bring Aeron to decide what is best should she go after telling Bron why she was really there or should she stay realizing she was beginning to truly love Bron and what will happen to her sister with what ever Aeron decides .
Aeron is a civilian analyst for the Federation. She overhears a transmission regarding the Qurilixen planet that she feels must be delivered even though her bosses tell her to forget it. She enlists the help of her estranged sister who gets passage to Qurilixen by signing up to be a bride.
She is chosen by Bron, nephew to the king and queen. She tries to deliver the message, but as with all the Qurilixen men, Bron is more interested in completing the ceremony.
I really liked this story. It seemed a little different from the other ones in this series. Aeron is a bit timid in regards to being on a new planet with people who have different beliefs. Bron is the normal Qurilixen man that feels slighted when his woman is worried or questions what he feels is normal protective qualities.
I can’t wait to read about Aeron’s sister and Kendall.

This is an engaging sci-fi romance.. Bron knows Aeron is his mate and also knows he will never be the same if she leaves.. This story has drama and sweet steam..

It was an absolute pleasure to read this very entertaining dragon shifter romance & runs concurrently with the previous books in this series but it can easily stand on its own. The plot is exceptionally intriguing & has splendid world-building with good scene descriptions. The two main characters are very interesting individuals, who are both strong-willed individuals with different points of view but they continue to develop throughout the storyline to become a well-adjusted loving couple.
It is about: a feisty female civilian analyst (Aeron Grey) for the Federation Military discovers a communication about a possible genocide attack on the Qurilixen world & defies an order to ignore the message. Aeron with the help of her fun-loving crazy sister (Riona) lands up on a Galaxy Bride Ship in a desperate attempt to save the this planet but the situations changes when she lands up in a breeding festival held on this planet & is chosen by the High Duke of the Draigs (Lord Bronislaw aka Bron) as his fated mate but Aeron is not exactly happy about the situation she finds herself in.
There is: Draigs (dragon shifters), Vars (cat shifters), greedy hostile aliens (Tyoe), fated mates, family comradery, adventure, action, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, drama, threats, danger, manipulations, attractions, misunderstandings, confusion, sad memories, complications, disagreements, blackmail, vulnerability, sadness, well-meaning advice, compromises, unexpected surprises, contentment, love, some steamy scenes & a well-deserved satisfying, epilogue. I enjoyed reading this book & would recommend it.
Aeron is a communication analyst for the Federation and she discovers a threat to othe Qurilixen people and decides that she has to helo them out.
Bron is a Duke on the Qurilixen planet and has given up of finding a bride until he meets Aeron.
Can they work out their issues and save the planet?
I truly love this series and despite the fact i loved the princes i have to say that the Duke didn’t disappoint me at all.
Fast paced with intriguing characters and the amazing world building of the Qurilixen planet.
This book takes place at the same time as the princes books and is followed by at least one more book that is of Aerons sister.
I truly can’t wait to read more.
Aeron, a human female on a mission to save the Qurilixian people from an impending attack, she signs up as a bride as a way of helping them. What she doesn’t realise is that the dragons mate for life, and when they’ve found The One that’s it. Lord Bron isn’t looking forward to the new batch of potential brides, however he’s shocked and exhilarated when he sees Aeron. Unfortunately she tells him she’s not here to marry him but she’s on a mission. If she leaves or goddess forbid dies then he will be alone for the rest of his life. He’s not willing to chance it and plans on winning and keeping his mate.
This book has lots of action, steamy scenes and a happily ever after ending.

I really enjoyed the Draig Princes’ stories and I was really looking forward to reading their cousins’ books, but after reading Bron’s story it felt like something was missing.
I enjoyed the way the book started with Aeron desparate to help the Qurilixen people and accidentally marrying the High Duke, but is kind of fizzled. Even though Bron’s situation (having been through several ceremonies with no match) is heartbreaking, Bron comes across as very desperate and is bent on tricking Aeron into becoming his bride and staying his bride. Aeron comes across as single minded in her attempt to warn the Qurilixen people but willing to enjoy Bron physically while giving her warning.
Overall it’s a good story but doesn’t compare to the first 4 in the series. I am looking froward to continuing the series and I really want to read Riona’s story to see if Nadja’s antidote worked for her.
I love how the author goes through & has the main characters seem like they are trying to hide they are not missing something in their lives; but as the story progresses we see how the characters are coming forward to really share themselves with their partners fully. Good job Michelle Pillow. Love your books.
