“I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with you, Willa Harper. Or why I can’t let the thought of us being together go. But one thing’s for sure, no matter what tries to keep us apart…I’ll find you.”
Willa Harper: Med School dropout. Daughter of the town crazy lady. And, oh yeah, super secret member of the “I Can See Ghosts” Club. The very last thing Willa needs is for Sawyer Grant, the hot jock who … Sawyer Grant, the hot jock who made her life miserable in high school, to come roaring back into her life on a Harley.
Too bad. The gorgeous bully is now a wounded veteran after his stint in the Navy SEALs—tortured and in need of the kind of care only she can provide with her unique gifts. She’s trying to keep it strictly professional with him, but he’s determined to take their relationship to the next level. Sawyer might be Willa’s patient, but he won’t stop until his reluctant PT is naked and vulnerable. In his bed.
However, there are things Sawyer doesn’t know. About her. About them. And though he sets her body on fire with just one look, she knows if she lets him in, he’ll ruin her life. Again.

At first I was a bit skeptic about the ghost- & spirit-thing.
But it turned out, I really liked the story and Clementine did a great job with her narration.
Willa and Sawyer didn’t have an easy relationship, but we get to know every step of it and it makes the book the more interesting.
It was my second Theodora Taylor book and I really like her style.
Can’t wait to read/listen to the next book.
His Everlasting Love has a pretty interesting concept tied to Willa’s ability to see ghosts, one that I hadn’t seen before this book. I won’t elaborate, so I don’t get into spoiler territory, but I’ll say that if you like when a paranormal romance pushes the envelope of what we expect, this is one you should read. The story takes place primarily in Virginia and it does have that Southern charm about it. It’s a fast-paced, sexy romance with so many fun characters. There’s a great mix of quirky characters in this town, and Sawyer and Willa are so easy to root for. This is part of a series, and the conclusion has a little bit of a lead-in for the next book, but it still works well as a standalone. I realize that I’ve been pretty vague here, but I can’t go into much detail without giving away some major spoilers. Clementine Dove narrates the book, and she does a great job with so many different characters. It was easy to distinguish one from another, which is always something I look for in a narrator. This is my first experience with both the author and the narrator, but I will be checking out more of both.
This is book 13 in the 50 Loving States series, a standalone paranormal romance. I liked the characters, and the paranormal elements. The storyline is interesting, and the world building is intricate and intriguing. Clementine Dove did a fantastic job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice, very pleasant to listen to. If you like paranormal romance, this one is for you! I enjoyed it.
** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW **
His Everlasting Love was a quick, captivating, and sweet paranormal romance that hooks you from the start. I was not expecting the paranormal twist to this story but it made it more intriguing. Willa and Sawyer have a complicated history, he was her tormentor in high school and years later they meet again under unusual circumstances. This enemies to lovers, fated mates with a paranormal twist will make you swoon and root for Willow and Sawyer’s HEA. I enjoyed every minute of this story and the narration by Clementine Dove was spectacular. She has a dynamic voice and her range of voices made this story come to life. She is a wonderful narrator and will be listening to her again.

I just finished listening to this audiobook and I really enjoyed it. The narrator has a great voice and her performance was great. This PNR romance is unique and emotional. I really loved this story and these characters, especially Willa. Highly recommend.
This is one of my favorite Theodora Taylor books. It’s supernatural love meets reality. It’s well told that you must keep reading to find out what happens in the end.
There are a few problematic things in this book. Sawyer’s mom is one of those things. I didn’t like how it was just written off as death changing her, because only three people in this book can see her so her actions still linger. Second Sawyer was a straight up bully. He was a spoiled rich kid who took one look at the two Black girls at school and gave them nicknames that stuck until adulthood. Matter of fact, I don’t even think he knew Willa’s real name until she told him. Trauma was some sort of magical cure-all for his previous behavior. Maybe I have strong feelings because I don’t care for bully romance. I’m fine with enemies to lovers, but bullies aren’t enemies. They pick on those they perceive as weak. That’s what Sawyer did. Also Sawyer’s father’s character change was just a huge plot convenience. So much of what he had done was completely forgiven without any effort on his part. He didn’t even go see his own son when Sawyer was in a coma for three months, and that was forgiven with one little excuse. It wasn’t much of an apology.
Certain parts were fine but as a whole this book is a bit much.
