Quincy Ryan was just handed custody of a son he didn’t know existed. He knows how to be an architect, not a dad, so he looks to his own father for guidance, but that means moving with Pops to Marietta, Montana. Quincy knows he has to get over his shock and give Atlas the Christmas he deserves, but how? He needs a miracle.Nicki Darren, failed actress, will take any job as Christmas approaches, … approaches, even babysitting for a withdrawn, workaholic, single father. She lost her mom as a child, too, and hasn’t had a real Christmas since, so she identifies with four-year-old Atlas.
An advent calendar of activities soon has Nicki pulling Quincy out of the house to get a tree and ice skate with his son. She wants Quincy to open his heart to Atlas, but begins to fall for the Ryan men herself. It makes the countdown to her last day, Christmas Eve, bittersweet. Great book, I hope to read more of Dani’s book
I really loved this book. Loved the story line and could not put it down.
Beautiful
Another wonderful story on the series. Nicki decided to come home to Marietta after not making it in Hollywood and going through Nursing Aide training. Her job would be to take care of Quincy’s son & dad. It just for the time before Christmas. Who knows what could happen.
This was a very sweet but sexy romance. I thoroughly enjoyed this author’s writing. I want to read more of her books.
Marietta at Christmas time! This book had me laughing, crying and taking notes on making a fun activities advent calendar. What a wonderful heart touching book that would make the best Christmas movie. Well written , so descriptive I felt like I was watching a hallmark movie when in was reading this story about Nikki, Quincy and Atlas. Love story not just just between two people but if a family too. what a great book to read anytime of the year.
A very sweet story.
Loved reading this book!
Excellent holiday read.
Young Quincy found out he was a father, and needed to take his son, Atlas, because his mother had died. Quincy didn’t know what he was going to do. Talking with his architect firm, Quincy was moving to Marietta, Montana with his father, who’s needed extra help due to his health. Maury wanted to move back to where he grew up, as it was a quieter life, compared to NY, and thought it would be a place he could learn to know and raise his son, Atlas. But, Quincy knew he would need help, so he could work at home, and still watch over his father and son.
In comes Niki, who had tried to make a go in Hollywood, but had gotten training in taking care of elderly folks when her career in acting didn’t take off, answered the ad for help. When Atlas and Maury met Niki, instant acceptance with her out going personality and Niki totally taken with Atlas, the story begins. It was a delightful adventure to see how Niki opened hearts and made it a goal to give Atlas his best Christmas a little boy should have to remember and how it helped 2 young folks let their hearts heal from the past. Niki’s loving and caring heart helped in opening doors to a life neither she or Quincy ever thought they would have. A true Christmas delight that continued.
I liked this book. The characters were interesting and endearing.
