An omega in trouble will force this alpha general to confront his past…After the humans duped me on a rebellious trip to the Keep, I’ve been placed in the care of one of the king’s generals. Now I’m in more danger than ever. The humans wiped my memory and tried to change what it means to be an omega. But I’m stronger than that. With his medical background, Evander should be the perfect alpha to … should be the perfect alpha to help me recover. His astute gaze and thoughtful manners almost make me forget he’s a brutal alpha. I don’t want him around, but there’s something familiar about the way he looks at me.
As he helps me recover, I realize he plays a bigger role in my past than I ever expected. With Luxoria in peril, he’ll have to trust me with the trust to keep me and the rest of the omegas safe.

This starts out so sadly that I was hesitant to continue, because I read for joy not tears. I’m glad I decided to continue!! Against all odds, these two lovers reunite, but following their journey was fraught with action, danger, and high emotion, and I couldn’t put it down. It’s good to see all the positive changes Adalai has made. I liked seeing how Evander grew into a good man with integrity. Looking forward to more.
More From this Dystopian shifter series!!
In a shifter world where Alphas, Betas and Omegas are not aligned, and the Omegas live outside the castle walls. A young prince and a young omega watch each other through a hole in that wall. When they meet later as adults can they rebuild that young bond or will events, prejudices and a battle keep them apart??
Interesting take on the Shifter world. One which I am thoroughly enjoying!
This is the fourth book in the series and each book gets better You could probably read this book without reading the previous three but do yourself a favour and read them you will have a better understanding of what is going in and they are just great books. Please allow plenty of time to read because I guarantee once you start you won’t want to put it down.
After Rielle is rescued away from the badlands then she will have to be weaned of the juice the thing that makes the omegas able to be controlled by humans who are fighting the alphas. When she finally comes out of the coma she has no memory if her past and is frightened to realise theta the alpha general Evander is the one overseeing her care. He takes away her prised possession a leather cord and button that she doesn’t remember how she got it What she doesn’t know is that as a child Evander gave her that leather strap when he sneaked to see an omega even though it was band. Now he sees his chance to finally make that omega his. Can they have a future together
The Most Emotionally Touching Story of the Series Thus Far…
Out of all the books in P. Jameson and Kristen Strassel’s The Royal Omegas series, this one,”His Captive Omega” is my favorite. This fourth installment in the five book arc is the story of Rielle and Evander. Rielle being the youngest omega in Queen Zelene’s royal court. An omega that has grown up surrounded by pain, hunger, loneliness, suffering, and great loss. Yet a woman who has remained steadfast and optimistic, in part due to a long ago friendship that planted a seed of hope deep within her.
And Evander, the highest ranking general in King Adalai’s royal guard. A soldier fashioned from birth by his father, trained in both the art of war and medicine. But an alpha that, just like Rielle, holds secret hope that the harsh world around them can someday be different. All because of a forbidden childhood friendship. One that has left permanent marks on his soul.
What follows is not only a beautiful snapshot of life, as it stands now in Luxoria, in the midst of crisis and monumental change. But also a set of personal journeys unlike any other within the entire kingdom.
Rielle and Evander’s tale will punch you in the gut as it is far more tender, far more personal and meaningful than any of the others. Not only because of what Rielle has to overcome, but also because of the heartfelt lessons their connection affords us all. Their history, their friendship, their childhood journey on opposite sides of the Luxoria fence will break your heart. In equal measure, you will burst with pride as you watch them fight for their second chance at happiness. And unlike the other installments in the series, this one will affect your senses on a far greater scale. You will genuinely mourn for the wolfling alpha and his little omega, and all they lost so very long ago.
This one is a bit special and truly soul touching.
Additionally, unlike some of the others, this one does a much better job of infusing the love story at the forefront with the ever present backdrop of unrest.
It seamlessly blends itself with the larger story arc being told. And actually lays bare the emotional toll the years of oppression, separation, and classism that has ingrained itself into all levels of the kingdom have taken. As well as the extraordinary hurdles facing the king and his court when implementing change.
Here the authors offer up some of their richest writing yet. Giving us page after page of warm, vibrant, suspenseful prose that cracks open the shell of Luxoria more then ever before. They continue to march you headlong into the many plots being planned against Luxoria. Pushing you relentlessly towards the uncertain future that awaits everyone within it.
