His Broken Angel is the second book in the Heaven’s Ballroom series by Aiden Bates. Sweet story with a touch of miscommunication frustration, humorous moments, steamy interactions and sweet connections.I think Nathan and Damon are great characters and I really liked them together. I also like the hints we get for future stories.
Nathan and Damon have one heck of a week after someone’s phone breaks and Murphy’s Law rears its ugly head. I loved this story, and the grand gesture.
All of Damon’s relationships have gone wrong, and Nathan does not want a relationship. Something about Damon sparks Nathan’s interest in more than just a conquest. Poor Damon, everything that can go wrong, goes wrong. I love Heaven’s messy family.
Sometimes, you gotta get out of your own head. Life is about self preservation when deep down you still want a life partner who has your back, always. When is a good time to stop and listen to your heart/mind when they sync up? Delightful story. As always, Mr Bates’ series highlight adorable people who you would want as friends. The courtship has you hoping everyone can find a HEA. The human struggle of self-awareness is a good live/romance lesson. Well done, Mr. Bates. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
It was a pleasure to read this exceptionally, well-written heartwarming MM romance. It has an interesting, well-paced story-line & plot. The characters are unique with complex personalities & some of them struggle with self-esteem issues and acceptance as they continue to develop throughout the story-line.
There is: a very successful alpha that becomes exceptional intrigued when a omega turns his request down (Nathan Garnet) his friend & friendly competitor in business (Duncan Rourke), a sassy omega with a extremely low opinion of himself (Damon Bishop), a mischievous yet caring friend (Anders), ballroom dancers, friends, humor, drama, some mild twists, attractions, memories, verbal banter, fantasies, physical conflict, suspicions, determination, discovery, admiration, a unpleasant surprise, desperation, friendly advice, a devious plan, verbal confrontations, misunderstandings, admittance, happiness, love, steamy scenes & a satisfying epilogue with a tantalizing glimpse of what could be the next book in the series “Heaven’s Ballroom” I enjoyed reading this book & would recommend it.
Damon is a stripper at night and goes to NYU during the day. Nathan comes from money and works in stocks. He sees Damon at the strip bar and wants him. Damon hasn’t been seeing anyone because he always ends up hurt. I really enjoyed this book . I found the characters interesting.
I can remember the days of travelling abroad, and leaving messages about where and when to meet friends at a hostel, setting a certain church or monastery as a fallback meeting point – with these boys, not having a phone for a week leaves one feeling humped and dumped, and the other in love, and disappointed.
His fallen angel misses him, but can’t return his texts with a broken phone – and heaven help him find a piece of paper with contact info on it. I guess the angel didn’t set his contacts to back up to the cloud?
His sexy alpha businessman – shame on him for not calling the place of work for his gent.
technology – nothing better than face to face communication – and maybe some intervention by well meaning friends and pets!
sweetly humorous steamy m/m romance!
