“It hurts everywhere. Please, touch me.”Young wolf shifter Caleb didn’t expect to be fighting for his life while protecting a group of cubs he escorted up the mountain on a morale-building exercise but that’s what happened. And he would have died if it wasn’t for gorgeous alpha mountain man, Asher. He is thankful for the man’s help, but any further gratitude dies on his lips when the man informs … the man informs him in no uncertain terms that Caleb belongs to him and will stay by his side. Caleb could try to escape and hobble his way back to his pack, except, his body and especially his inner wolf don’t want to go anywhere Asher isn’t. The lone wolf can light a fire in Caleb in a way that he has never experienced.
“They left you up here and it is for the best because the forest has given you to me. You’re mine.”
Asher has been alone for most of his life but when Caleb steps foot on his mountain, he senses his mate immediately. He knows his mate is a gift and will stop at nothing to claim him. Finding him and protecting him is easy enough. It is convincing the younger shifter he is his that is a challenge. Asher can be patient though, especially if the end goal is showing Caleb how good their lives could be together.
The forest may be Asher’s home, but it is also a dangerous place and if Asher wants his life with his mate, he’ll have to save him first.
His Baby to Save is the second book in The Den series. It can be enjoyed as a standalone. His Baby to Save contains hilarious moments that could cause you to laugh at inappropriate times as well as sexy moments that may steam up your sunglasses. Stay hydrated.

Wow, Kiki has done it again. I’m so glad Caleb got his happily ever after, it may not of been what he originally imagined for himself but in the end they were perfect for each other. Man, Asher was a complete cave man to start with but that probably has something to do with being by himself and being in his wolf form for over 2 years. I loved the connection between Caleb and Asher, Asher is domineering which freaked Caleb out to start with waking in a rustic cabin with a mountain man tending to his wounds but sniffing him which was more animal than man then he worried about the kids in his care but Asher told Caleb that they’re save and were picked up by a ranger and that Caleb can’t leave because they’re mates, Caleb and Asher slowly get to know each other and each time Asher praises Caleb he lights up.
Asher doesn’t want Caleb to leave and is annoyed each time Caleb mentions his pack will be worried about him as Asher’s pack was horrible and the reason that he went to the mountain in the first place, as his pack trained the kids like soldiers and then they got into stealing random kids for a sex traffic*ing ring and then moving onto kids from their own pack so Asher ended up doing what he was trained for and set the kids free and then killed every adult that helped k*dnap the kids. Asher was worried what Caleb would think of him when he heard but Caleb told him that he had to do what he thought was the best option. I loved how Caleb and Brady, who Asher used to see when he needed company became kind of weird friends once Caleb over came his jealousy, Asher didn’t know how he felt about it. I’m glad that even though Asher didn’t need nor want a pack after what he’d been through he went to the Den without a second thought when Caleb started getting sick which was bad since he was pregnant, he did what he had to do to make sure his mate and babies were well, safe and happy. I loved how Asher finally found a pack that had his back. I’m looking forward to reading Brady’s book as he seemed like a lovely caring man. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
Asher and Caleb were a fun couple to know. An age gap, fated mates, an mpreg… this story had drama, action, suspense, steam, humor and sweetness. I like the growing overall plot of the series, the growing of the pack family
Omg!! Ok first off I love this series so I knew I’d like the story. This one though is the best one yet. There was the mated pair and excitement that we expect. I knew Asher would be a rough around the edges alpha. But to not only have him be so amazing he’s legendary and yet be thoughtful and mature enough to embrace Caleb’s Pack as well as be a great dad was the perfect touch. It’s those kind of details that make Kiki Burrelli such an extraordinary author. I was given the privilege and opportunity to receive an advanced reader copy and am leaving an honest review. I have to say that Kiki Burrelli is the queen of putting in a little clue that can be easily overlooked and yet when that door is opened you wonder how you didn’t pick up on it. That is the key to a great story teller.
