5 stars for His Addiction by Autumn Archer. This is book 3 in the Unforgettable series. I feel in love with Autumn Archer’s writing in His to Steal and continue to love her writing in this book. We meet Jaime in His to Steal , he is Marcus’s brother. Jamie is the typical billionaire playboy. Shannon is just a poor girl who just wants her own horse. While, these characters seem so different I believed from the very beginning that they were meant for each other. These two meet when Shannon finds Jamie’s father wondering around. They have a spark and attraction that just sizzles. The chemistry comes off pages. I do love Jaime’s character but there were some times in the book when I thought he deserved a good throat punch. Jamie likes women and is an alpha in male and is pretty much attracted to all women , every thing seems to change when he meets Shannon. I will say there is so much emotion, passion, love and drama in this story that I felt I was on an emotional roller coaster. The sex scenes between these to are so steamy and hot. I loved every second of this book. I was drawn into this story from the first page. Actually I was drawn in by the hottie on the cover if I’m being honest. I would consider this a contemporary romantic suspense. I love Jaime and Shannon. These two are great characters and I am looking forward to reading more from Autumn Archer.
I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.

Jamie and Shannon……….perfect if they can get it right
The Addiction is Book 3 of The Unforgettable series and is about Jamie and Shannon. Jamie is the younger brother of Marcus who we got to know as bit about through the first two books on the series. He words to describe Jamie are billionaire, playboy, good looking, large and most aptly man-whore.
Shannon is an equestrian who is working two jobs to make ends meet and trying to save up enough money to buy her own horse. She is also feisty, loyal, doesn’t suffer fools well and does not trust easily.
When Jamie and Shannon meet Jamie insults her initially but he is still drawn to her. Let’s just say that she does take it well and wants literally nothing to do with him. But these two are way to perfect for each other so it does not take long for something to start between then. The only question is whether it can develop into a relationship that will last or not.
This is a really fun story to finish the series with two great characters in Jamie and Shannon. Their story is filled with all kinds of hot and heavy moments along with funny and eye-rolling moments. But their chemistry between the two of them radiates off the screen.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. I love how Jamie notices Shannon a lot more, the chemistry, the twists and turns, the ups and downs between these two makes you want to keep reading to see what happens.
Thank you for allowing me to review this book it was great.

Jamie and Shannon makes this story sizzle! Jamie is a billionaire use to getting what he wants and right now that is Shannon. Shannon has no time for the man. Her life is all lined up although he lights a spark. He is determined but Shannon keeps him at bay. When her world is turned up side down will he come to her aid? This story is definitely one to read.

The wait is over and it was so worth it: Jamie McGrath is here.
I’d almost forgot how much I love Autumn Archer´s writing style: I couldn’t even care less it is written it the third person – one of my very few but very persistent pet-peeves. Her writing is so intricate, delicate and beautiful; so many highlights out of this one.
All the previous books have been 5 Star Reads for me, but I have to say: either I was away from this world for a while and got a little bit disconnect or this one just really struck a chord.
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love Marcus and Lana: their story is beautiful, sexy and full of suspense, but there’s just something about Jamie…
Maybe it’s the fact that, in more than one occasion, I felt the urge to slap him for the things coming out of his mouth. Mind you, he wasn’t being disrespectful or rude just for shock value – he was instead being staggeringly honest. He didn’t lie about his interactions with other women because truly, there was nothing to hide. He and Shannon hadn’t established a relationship yet.
Not many fictional men would do it the way he did and not many romance authors would write it because, if you’re like me, we tend to judge characters behaviors based on what we know is going to happen instead of analyzing it in the context of the present situation.
I have to be honest here: I confess that sometimes I let myself get carried away and tend to get a bit frustrated when charathers seem to keep at odds with one another when they’re clearly going to end up together – but they don’t know that; we do.
We are aware that we are reading a book that, most likely will end in a HEA but they don’t. I understand this may seem painfully obvious and that I’m just here describing the difference between reality and fiction, but please, by no means, throw the first stone the one romance reader that never caught herself/himself thinking: “Come on, speed this up! Really?! Why are you acting like this? You know you’re going to fall in eachother´s arms when this is all over”.
So yeah, sorry about that. I kinda had this epiphany while reading this book and just to share it.
Thank you Jamie. (And thank you, Autumn Archer )
Now, back to Jamie. Yes, I wanted to slap him just as much as I wanted to kiss the hell out of him.
He’s… refreshing. Yeah, it’s a weird adjective but it fits.
He surprised me with his bluntness, unapologetic cockiness and his overall delicious wickedness. And oh, is he wicked.
Shannon surprised me too. I don’t really know what I was expecting but she definitely surpassed it.
She’s beautiful, strong-minded, caring and considerate.
Oh, and intent on keeping Jamie at arm’s length. Let’s see how that works out, shall we?
In resume, the answer is yes: you should definitely give this book a try. Jamie will leave you slack-jawed, I’m sure of it.
And don’t miss out on the previous books either: you don’t need to read them to be able to enjoy this one but I absolutely recommend them
I’m sad to see the McGrath Brothers leaving but hopefully we can check up on them in the future. If not, I’ll still positively be on the look out for the next Autumn Archer book. And you should too.

Where should I start…this book was brilliantly written, I already said it before but I loved the skilful and colourful usage of synonyms. There weren’t repeats of words and the flow was refreshing. Really you would not believe it’s Autumn’s fourth book by how amazing the whole story was. If felt like well played piece of music. Full of emotions yet better said rollercoaster ride of feelings, with lots of ups and downs. Wrongs and rights, turns and twists keeping one on pins and needles all the time. This book was simply incredible.
Both characters were like made for one another. The sparks of their attraction were sizzling through the air. And let me tell you their sexy times were like explosions of molten lava coming to the surface….steamingly hot.
I can say just this…. get the book, read it and see for yourself. Such a great read.
Another awesome book by this author! Yay!
Jamie is a player par excellence, having the ladies falling to his feet. Good looking, rich as hell, what else does he want?
Shannon is a hard working young lady, and has absolutely no time to play around. She has a goal she wants to reach.
But Jamie is persistent. He always gets what he wants. Right?!
Jamie is Marcus‘ little brother we get to see in the first two books of the Unforgettable series. This book is a fantastic continuation! It has some twists and turns that me keep reading and finishing the book in a day!!!
I kindly received an arc for an honest review
So I read an ARC of Venatus and I can say I’m impressed. Really. It has all the feelings, & once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. I loved this book so much & I can’t recommend it enough!!!
Absolutely loved every moment of Venatus! I felt like I was right there inside the story with Jamie and Shannon, and I was on the edge on my seat the whole time. I highly recommend this book. Amazing read!
I have been waiting for Jamie’s book and Autumn Archer DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. Shannon is perfect for Jamie, even if he doesn’t realize it. Jamie is perfect for Shannon, even if he is a billionaire. Throw in a bully of an ex, mysterious goings on and steamy love and you get one great read!
I love nothing more than to see a playboy brought to his knees when he finally finds that one woman he wants more than a brief moment with.
Jamie McGrath is the ultimate hedonistic playboy. Anything goes; he works hard and parties even harder. Everybody knows Jamie is the go-to party animal.
But then there’s Shannon. Hard working, horse loving Shannon, singularly focussed on her career with no time for relationships. Their chance meeting throws both their worlds into disarray. Could there be something between them that makes them throw their rule books out of the window?
But alas, the path to true love does not run smooth and there’s heartache, jeopardy and recriminations along the way. I gasped, cried and scowled at the book as I simultaneously devoured the story and tried desperately to savour each page and take my time.
The author has built a fantastic world around the McGrath brothers. Set in Northern Ireland but played out around the world, this story is the third in the series but can be read as a stand-alone.
Marcus McGrath, star of the first two books, was a hard act to follow but Jamie raises the bar again. He’s a fascinating character with more depth than you initially give him credit for. He’s tough, resourceful, but with that deep sense of being a gentleman. He’s a real swoon worthy leading man.
Shannon is my favourite type of heroine. Feisty and independent but with that vulnerable streak that makes her human. She’s Jamie’s perfect match despite being nothing like his usual type.
I could wax lyrical about this story all day. I just hope that this is not the last we’ll hear from the McGrath brothers. I’m sure there are more stories to be told in their little part of the world.
This is the 3rd book in The Unforgettable Series. We first learn of Jamie in Book One VERITAS, then meet him in an unforgettable situation or 2 in Book Two VENATUS, but this book is where we really get to know him. He’s so much more than i saw coming, much like Shannon, he made me hot, swoon, and fall Hard! Shannon was easy to like and i loved her ability to dust herself off and get back on the horse, pun intended. Their story is filled with heat and so much heart. I loved it. HEA!
I have learned, I am not a fan of the guy-who-can-get-any-girl-and-knows-it trope. Now, when said guy falls for the ONE girl, it’s all good! Jamie is the best thing about this book. I wasn’t a fan for the first half, but he definitely grew on me in the second. Shannon is stubborn and mulish to the point I wanted to slap her sometimes, to say, “Why are you trying so hard to push him away just because you have to “work” and have goals?! We all gotta work for what we want, honey, and we don’t push away love because of that.” That trope also drives me crazy, pushing someone away for stupid reasons. But then there’s the villain, Niall, and there are not enough venomous words to describe how awful he is. I was honestly afraid Shannon was going to get raped; that didn’t happen, but there was physical abuse, emotional abuse, and threatening of a beloved animal and the father of her boyfriend!! (So trigger warnings there.) Seriously, NIALL HAS PROBLEMS.
Is there a happily ever after, though? Yes. Whereas Marcus and Lana’s story was a duet, this was a standalone which I appreciated.
An incredible third book in the Unforgettable Series. This is Jamie’s story and we see the playboy who gets women falling at his feet change before our eyes. Jamie is the epitome of alpha male who likes any women that walks by, until Shannon and crosses his path & all bets are off. This story pulls at your heart strings. There is so much emotion, love & passion. Sex & steamy alpha domination but them something happens and your heart aches. An Incredible story that you will love reading. A must read xx
I was hooked on this book from the very first page! The storyline was great and the characters were impeccably written which kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book! I look forward to reading more from this author!
Venatus gives us the story of Jamie and Shannon. Jamie is the ultimate bad boy, smoldering good looks and the one that you are not sure whether to love or hate him all at the same time. Their story is seriously hot, sensual, dirty and will leave you with a huge craving for chocolate and cherries. Shannon is a woman with strength and demons and showing any kind of vulnerability is a weakness she can’t afford. Their story will have you anxious, captivated and at times your heart breaking. The intensity of their saga had me rattled and holding my breath. Jamie and Shannon will steal your heart and this book will show us yet again, why falling in love with a McGrath brother is so easy to do.
This is the third book in the Unforgettable Series and it was absolutely amazing! I devoured this book from the first word to the last. Jamie is a playboy billionaire, that leaves women laying at his feet. Shannon is a feisty, hard working woman, with a goal, that she intends to reach. Both characters are undeniably perfect for each other and their attraction seems to jumps from the pages. An incredible story and a must read.
