With the deck stacked against him from birth, Asher Simmons lives a quiet, simple life. He talks to plants more than he does humans and prefers it that way. Though he often feels like something is missing, understanding what that is and how to get it feels like an insurmountable task.
Making a living out of helping others achieve their professional dreams serves to help Thornton Hayes realize … realize his own. He’s also a Daddy, through and through. But Thornton’s one dream of finding a boy who needs a man to take care of his every need is one he’s had no luck of fulfilling.
When a terrible accident brings the two men together, neither of them expect their intense connection. Has Daddy found a little he can pamper, protect, and provide for, or will Asher deny every instinct he has to regress?

I really liked this story. Asher was so full of fear and anxiety, I felt bad for him from the first page. Thornton, who was born to be a Daddy dom, met Asher when their cars collided in a downpour. Thornton was immediately smitten with the injured younger man. That led to a romance that might have some unrealistic moments, but it sure made me happy. I loved watching Asher grow more confident and trusting in his new Daddy’s care.
There were a lot of tears here, but there was also a lot of comfort and love. The secondary characters were lovable and gave Asher a strong support system. I loved how accepting they all were about the relationship between Thorn and Asher, and I liked how open the men were about is as well. The strong feelin of family was lovely.
This was another great story from an author whose books I always appreciate, and I enjoyed every minute!
I adore hurt/comfort books. They warm my heart and I feel so relaxed when I finish reading them. This book was one of the best hurt/comfort books I’ve read. Thornton was so kind and understanding and caring, he was amazing. Asher’s story broke my heart and I loved his character so so much. So sweet and brave and kinda bratty too. It was a beautiful story about two men who met under bad circumstances but managed to make things better for each other and find love. This book was also about kink. Specifically about daddy kink and age regression and it was handled amazingly. So if you enjoy hurt/comfort stories and daddy kink this book is made for you and you’ll love, it I promise. If you’ve never read a daddy kink book and feel weird about age regression give it a try. It’s beautifully written, the characters are deep and wonderful and it explains things really well.
I personally loved it very much (and I hope there’s going to be a book a book Trent and Madi because they were great side characters and seemed really cute together).
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review
What a sweet book, a sweet couple!
If you enjoy a large dose of hurt/comfort with your daddy kink, and if you enjoy what Luna David calls age regression, rather than age play, then you’ll love this story of boy Asher, whose anxiety stems from his parents criminal neglect of him as a child, and Daddy Thornton, who’s been looking for just the right boy to call his own.
Asher and Thornton connect immediately – not insta-love, per se, but instant connection – despite the circumstances that could have caused Asher to dislike Thornton. The characters grow throughout the story as does their connection to each other.
A quick read that’s sweet and hot with a lovely HEA, this book is a perfect escape for an afternoon.
Whoa! I really enjoyed this read. It had heat, love, some angst and I love the way the author dealt with Asher anxiety. It was well written and the characters worked.
Oh man, Asher was exhausting. For real. Thorn was sexy and patient, of course. However, I had a really hard time not rolling my eyes at the shear amount of tears spilled from Asher’s eyes. I felt for him and his past, I really did, but he was so sensitive all the time. Frankly, I liked Trent better than I did Asher.
The book was a little drawn out and we had about three days in the first 50% of the book, then we skipped around from week to week. I didn’t completely dislike the book. I did like seeing Ash explore and get comfortable with his little side and I loved seeing Thorn’s Daddy side. I just wish Ash had been a little more likable. 🙁
This is the first book I’ve ever read from this author but it was a pleasant surprise. The story of Thornton and Asher is sweet and cute, easy to read with low angst situations and a lot of nice, perfect moments. However what I loved the most was how the author developed both characters and the Daddy/boy relationship in a very knowledgeable and deeply emotional manner. So not only the book is amazing in the plotting aspect but also is one of the best written Daddy/boy’s books I’ve ever read. I can’t wait to read more books written by Luna David. Simply wonderful!
When these two run into each other they each find what they didn’t even know they needed. Thornton loves to care but also shows respect for what Asher wants. He helps Asher to realize his own strength and worth. With a side romance this story is uplifting. It is wonderful to families being built.
4.75 Stars!
Let Me In was the first Daddy Kink book I read and it’s still one of my favorites, so I had to read His Accidental Daddy, too.
Thornton and Asher meet by accident, as in it was raining hard and the light changed to red and Thornton was unable to stop and rammed into Asher’s car. Feeling guilty, he rushes to help Asher as they wait for the ambulance and then goes to the hospital to check on him, telling the nurses he’s Asher’s husband so they allow him in. Asher doesn’t particularly like strangers, but there’s something about Thornton that makes him want the older man around. Thornton stays with Asher at the hospital for the three days he’s there and after he’s released, Thornton asks Asher to stay with him so he can take care of him. Thornton feels responsible for Asher but he’s also drawn to Asher on a baser level, recognizing that perhaps Asher needs Thornton the same way Thornton needs him.
If you’ve read this kind of book before, or any D/s kind of book really, you know the relationships are very intense and as such, they move at a faster pace. The connection between Daddy Thornton and Asher is undeniable from the moment they see each other from the first time, and even if Asher is determined not to be a burden for Thornton, Thornton is equally determined to show Asher he’s definitely worth the time and effort.
Thornton was the kind of Daddy I love, sweet, caring, supportive and trying to do what’s best for his boy. I loved that he could see that Asher needed more than love and being Daddy’s boy to start overcoming his anxiety issues and insisted on therapy. Asher was such an adorable boy and my heart broke when I read how his parents treated him. It was amazing to see Asher flourish under his Daddy’s care and see the changes in him in the Epilogue (which I loved, loved, LOVED) from the young man we met in the beginning of the story.
Overall, this was an engaging, captivating read. Hot, sweet, tender, with some low-angst and a lot of heart, fans of Daddy kink and age play will surely be as in heaven with My Accidental Daddy as I was.

Asher and Thornton
The start of this story was instantly full of excitement, the circumstances Asher and Thornton’s lives collided and it was extraordinary and with quite some impact.
After a while, I was able to take a somewhat easier breath. Dang!
Asher is full of anxiety, fears, panic attacks and lives a solemn life. He is always wary, always alert of his surroundings. After being involved with Thornton, his life will never be the same. With tiny tiny little steps, Thornton the Daddy he is, earns some trust from Asher. The road to a better place seems almost impossible to travel.
I loved the bubble this narrative resided. My favorite place for a story was the focus on both men.
There is quite a special dynamic between Asher and Thornton. One I wasn’t quite familiar with and very happy to know more about.
When you meet Beauty and Beast your heart will explode, what a great addition.
There are some priceless friends and family members, on both Asher and Thornton’s sides, who made the circle complete.
“Why does it feel like home?” When you understand the world behind this sentence, oh my dear heart.
The innocent sweet Asher learns how to find the right mindset and oh my goodness what an experience!
An ultra-gentle build up to a total take over and surrendering, goshhhh.
We got here a story with a high level of hurt and comfort. My heart had a difficult time holding a steady pace. It is a lot to take in, it could be too much, but it wasn’t. Every time we get a piece of the puzzle from Asher’s life, and piece by piece we understand and see the whole picture better, how it is, it’s bad, but with all the care, it only got better and better for him. A very detailed journey, amazingly developed, every turn, every breath every quiver, every whisper has a place here and it was breathtaking, endearing, and on top of it arousing and erotic.
Awesomely captivatingly way of writing, it was consistent and plausible, very enjoyable
What a great story!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
Thornton runs into the side of Asher’s car and neither man will ever be the same again. Thornton is a Daddy, and he wants Asher for his boy, but Asher doesn’t have a clue about the lifestyle or what being a little means. Can Thornton make Asher see that he needs him, that they need each other?
I really REALLY enjoyed this book!
I’ve been struggling with a lot of reading at the moment, and to be honest, Daddy/littles haven’t really been my thing but this one twanged something when I read the blurb, and I am so glad I gave it a go!
Poor Asher! He really is a wreck about most things, everyday things cause him into meltdowns and he is struggling just to function. Cue getting sideswiped in the rain, and Asher is losing it, big time. Then a voice cuts through the panic and Asher can just breathe (as much as fractured ribs will allow) and Asher falls hard and fast for Thornton.
Thornton, while feeling incredibly guilty for crashing his car into Asher’s, feels a pull to Asher that he never felt before. Just seeing him in that wreck calls to his inner Daddy so far and so deeply, Thornton cannot resist. But Asher thinks he is damaged, and Thornton knows that isn’t the case, he just needs to make Asher see.
I’ve tagged this BDSM but there is actually very little of the “usual” stuff, just some spanking, and talk about power exchange and a Dom/sub relationship that is in this book for Thornton’s best friends.
It is HEAVY on the emotional side of things though, and I think that’s what carried me through, watching Asher get out of his head, and into his little for his Daddy. Thornton’s emotions are all over the place too, but I didn’t feel them as deeply as I did Asher’s.
It is also incredibly SWEET in places, hence the warm and fuzzies tag.
Both voices are clear and you really do get into Asher’s head when he starts to meltdown. Very well written scenes when Asher loses it and Thornton brings him back.
I’m interested in reading about Damian and Syed (the D/s relationship here), Thornton’s best friends, but MORE so about another pairing that blossomed towards the end of this book. Madi, who is Asher’s best friend, and Trent, who is Thornton’s younger brother. That pairing would be a Mummy/little relationship, and I’m really rather curious about that one!
Not quite hitting those 5 stars, but so very nearly!
4 stars

I don’t know how Luna, always writes a book that instantly draws you in. This book was sweet, emotional and just beautifully written.
The stunning cover for His Accidental Daddy by Luna David caught my eye immediately… and being a fan of Daddy/little stories, I couldn’t wait to dive in!
If you haven’t tried Daddy books yet, I would highly recommend this one as a great introduction. The story brings to life the personality of a little and what regression means to them. It also shows the gentle, nurturing side of Daddies and demonstrates the dynamic this type of power exchange can give each participant.
Thornton is such a patient Daddy with so much love to give and when he meets Asher by “accident”, he sees a boy in need. Asher is such a lost soul with an awful past who is only just managing to get through each day. Together they bring peace to each other and may just fit like a jigsaw puzzle – if only Asher can learn to trust and let go.
The sweetness and hurt/comfort elements of this story are spot on and I felt every rise and dip of these wonderful men’s relationship as it developed.
A strong and sassy best friend is always a great addition to the cast and Luna David brings to life many memorable side characters in this book. The plot moves at a steady pace with relatable and engaging developments along the way.
His Accidental Daddy is a delightfully sweet read and Luna David brings to life a wonderful couple that many readers will swoon over! Highly recommended for Daddy lovers and those curious to see what the fuss is about!
3.5 stars.
This one wasn’t quite what I expected, but it was still really good!
Asher deals with a lot of anxiety, and with driving or being in a car, in particular. It’s on his way home from work one evening when his fears become reality and he finds himself under the protection of a daddy.
There was a pretty big twist right up front that I wasn’t expecting. It had me asking, what I would do in that scenario. I enjoyed Asher. He was drawn very believably, and this really felt like his story. He doesn’t know anything about Daddy kink, and yet, he soon finds himself under the protection of one.
It was all about Asher finding himself and being able to regress, so there’s a definite slow burn here because of the shift of focus. I enjoyed their romance, too. Thornton called Asher sweetheart from the beginning and I didn’t really notice until one of the characters mentioned it because it just made sense. Of course he calls Asher sweetheart. Of course, there’s this level of intimacy already. I LOVED that.
It was a little too drawn out and the ending was rather abrupt, but this was a quick, heartfelt read. I’ll definitely read more by Luna David.
OMG!!! This book was perfect, in my opinion. Most all Daddy kink is my favorite. This story just did wonderful things for me. A shy, innocent boy in need of a Daddy, Asher is absolutely adorable. I love how innocent he is in the beginning. Daddy Thorn just sweeps in and literally takes over like a good Daddy should. He’s able to be there for his boy every step of the way. And when Asher comes out of his shell, it’s beautiful!!!
