Kat has moved in with Landy leaving Molly at the apartment the girls had previously shared. Molly had been working an internship at the hotel hoping it would turn into a full time position but that had been given to another employee. Since Landy had pulled Molly into the revamping of Sugar and Spice and managing the private rooms there, Molly decided to end the internship early.
Robert is now Landy’s accountant. His father had served Landy’s father in the same capacity so they already had the relationship and past to build upon. So when Landy abandons Robert and the club when he met Kat, Robert went down to the bar. Who should he meet and spend the night with? You guessed it, Molly. It would have gone into morning but Robert had accidently locked himself out when he went outside to take a phone call and couldn’t get back in. Molly of course thought he considered it a one night stand and left without a word. Let’s just sweeten the pot. Landy has called Robert in to work on the revamp of Sugar and Spice.
Even though it can be read independently, book two begins where book one left off. We have the same cast of characters with a few add ins that makes reading this flow easily. The chemistry between Robert, aka Bobby, and Molly is almost panty melting. There’s a plot twist and angst that follow this couple but every romance has a secret hiding in the wood work. There’s still a brewing tension between other characters that make me anxious to read the next book.
This is book two in this series.

I really liked this book. I could not put it down once I started reading it. The story line was on point. You will fall in love with all the characters. This book will make you believe in love at first sight. I can’t wait to see if there will be a book three for Brant and Liv’s story. I highly recommend this book and author to others.
