He needs someone to work with his son, she needs a job. They need to keep their hands to themselves.Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Mark’s story …Single Dad of Seattle Dr. Mark Herron … …
Single Dad of Seattle Dr. Mark Herron can’t believe anyone would celebrate their divorce. The dissolution of his marriage left him and his son with a huge hole to fill in their home–and their hearts. So when he overhears a lovely stranger and her friends celebrating the end of her marriage, he’s mystified–and then intrigued–by her determination to put the past behind her. But when he learns that Tori Jones needs a job, he knows this can’t be a coincidence.
Tori might be telling the world nothing’s got her down, but the truth is she’s hit rock bottom. Her husband didn’t just cheat on her, he took all her money, including her college fund, which means her marriage is over, and so is her dream to go to grad school and help children with special needs. So when a handsome stranger offers her a job caring for his special needs son, she knows she can’t turn it down–
Even if what she’s feeling for Mark is far from professional.
Now Mark’s finding it hard to keep his hands to himself and Tori’s struggling to keep her thoughts from straying to dangerous territory. Will they be able to keep their distance from each other or will being hired by the sexy single dad be Tori’s biggest problem of all?
**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

The first book in The Single Dads of Seattle series and I know I want to read the rest of this series. A well written book with a great storyline and a story that flows smoothly from page to page. Single Dad of Seattle Dr. Mark Herron and his special needs son Gabe need someone to look after Gabe while Mark works. Mark meets Tori Jones when she is out with friends celebrating her divorce from Ken a man who left her taking everything from her including the money she had saved. Mark hires Tori but then a misunderstanding makes him fire her and call her some very nasty names. Will Mark realize his mistake in time or has he lost Tori for good read this book to find out. I recommend this book.
An enthralling and emotionally deep romance that pulled me in from page one and held me captivated until the end. So much to look forward to in this book – a well-developed consistent plot, a darling little boy with special needs, drama, witty banter, and humour. The characters are likeable; their chemistry is intense and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

This is a well written book with strong characters who have a hot chemistry together. The author does a great job building the story and pulling you in with her descriptive writing and pulls at your emotions , keeping you reading right to the end. She tackles the subject of parents with autistic children and the challenges they face. I loved this story and highly recommend reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This is the first book that I’ve read by Whitley Cox and I can tell you that she has gained a new reader. I’m a huge fan of single dad romance so I knew I had to read this one. The blurb had me sold on this book right away. Mark and his son Gabe are precious together. Some of my favorite scenes are between Gabe and Tori. Watching Gabe blossom under Tori’s guidance was beautiful. There is a lot of emotion in this one. It makes you happy sigh, but also parts brig tears to yours eyes. Tori and Mark bring the heat. They sure do burn up the pages! It’s a book that pulled me right in. Getting to know the other single dads in Mark’s group I can’t wait for more from this series!
This was a really great book to read. The characters were well developed and the story had a good flow to it. I loved it and I would recommend it to all!

Mark was a doctor and wanted Tori the first time he saw her. Tori had just separated from her cheating husband and was looking for a job with challenged children. Mark needed someone to help with his son who was on the spectrum and was non-verbal. The story was interesting and did an excellent job of addressing autism. The characters were strong and vivid. Very good read!

What a great way to start a series! Mark and Tori have been burned badly and they’ve got the emotional scars to prove it but a chance encounter and a precious little boy will bring them together in the most amazing ways.

Mark and Tori meet on the night she goes out with friends to celebrate her divorce from her cheating ex who also stole her college fund for grad school. He hears the woman and starts a conversation with Tori and finds out she works with special needs children so he offers her a job taking care of his non-verbal son Gabe. What starts off as a boss/employee relationship quickly turns into so much more.

Wow, what a great start to a new series. It’s definitely a page-turner that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. I loved reading how Mark and Tori’s relationship began and how it along with Mark’s special needs son blossomed. This is definitely will touch your heartstrings. Loved reading Mark and Tori got to know each other better…and better! Oh my!! This is definitely a must read and I cannot wait until the next installment to this series. Loved it!!
I received an Advanced Reader Copy. I am voluntarily leaving a review. I love Ms Cox as an author. Mark is a divorced Doctor with a child on the spectrum. Tori is “celebrating” her divorce from her cheating husband. She is a behavioral therapist wanting to go back to school and finish her degree. Mark hires her to care for his son. There is instant and strong chemistry between the two. I have to admit that I had waffled between three and four stars. I chose four because of the writing and the character development. I personally had a problem about the resolving of the issue that arose.
Mark is a single father raising a special needs son. He overhears Tori talking to her friends celebrating her recent divorce and finds out that she is working towards her special needs education degree but her ex took off with her college fund along with everything else in their divorce. Mark offers her a job as a live in nanny/teacher for his son which brings them closer together and they eventually can’t fight their attraction to each other. I read this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.
Really enjoyed this story. As much as it is a romance it deals with Autism, and how it can affect the life of a parent. I think takes love, dedication, and commitment to raise a differently abled child that not all parents can do. I think that to write a story that educates even a little while weaving a love story makes this an exceptional book.

This was my first Whitley Cox book, but it definitely will not be my last!
Tori and Mark have instant chemistry that continues to grow after she takes a job helping his son. I really enjoyed the silly banter between the two and how they grow and navigate in their relationship, also they are scorching hot in the bedroom!
Mark has such a special bond with his son Gabe and just like Tori I couldn’t help but fall in love with both of them as well.
I am really looking forward to meeting the next “Single Dad” and sitting in on more poker nights!
Tori’s cheating ex-husband has not only destroyed her happy ever after, but he has also put her professional dreams on hold as well. When her friends convince her to attend a girls night out she never expected that a fellow patron could give her hope for the future.
Mark has a painful past of his own when it comes to love and marriage and is now a single father to his son Gabe. When he finds out she wants to pursue a career in special education and he needs someone to help care for his son it seems like the perfect arrangement. Will they be able to deny the chemistry between them and overcome their pasts?
This is the first book in a new series and I can’t wait to read more about these single dads.
Tori and Mark had me hooked and when Gabe was introduced my heart just melted into a pile of goo! Tori was so down and out and just needed for something to go her way for once. Mark wasn’t having any luck in finding the right fit for Gabe and his needs. I loved how this story wasn’t just about the romance between Mark and Tori but had a lot of focus on sweet Gabe and his needs. I couldn’t put this down! I laughed and cheered and I also cried and hurt for everything that they went through. I absolutely loved this first in series and can’t wait for the next one!!
I received and ARC in exchange for for an honest review. I loved Mark and Tori’s story and cannot wait for the rest of the guys books. I love Tori. She was great with Gabe and exactly why Mark needed. They were a good pair. I loved the build up in this story. When they finally come together there’s fireworks. I seriously cannot wait for Liam’s book!! Great read and great new series!!
This was my first time reading a book like this and boy was my heart not ready! Mark is a single dad of a wonderful special needs son named Gabe. Finding someone who is good with Gade and meets all of their needs is a hard job to fill. After meeting Tori one day out of the blue, he knew that she was a perfect fit for his son Gabe. Little did he know that she was also the perfect fit for him! This book takes you on a heartwarming journey of understanding, love, and even loss. I couldn’t put it down. I cannot wait to hear the rest of the single dad’a stories! You get a little taste of each of them as an intro with Mark and Tori’s book and I want more!
