For years, Deanna’s eccentric grandmother has been trying to marry her off to a rich man, and she’s finally managed to do it. Deanna has spent her life trying to take care of those she loves, and a six-month marriage should be a simple enough way to keep their historic Savannah house from falling down around their heads.
Sexy, obnoxious Mitchell Graves needs a wife to finalize a business deal, … business deal, and he snaps up Deanna as the most expedient option. Because she’s quiet, he thinks she’ll be easy enough to manage as a wife.
He couldn’t be more wrong.

A quick read. A great love story with a few interesting complications
Loved this book.
Read as part of a duet ~ Marry Me: Wedding Season / Hired Bride by Samantha Chase & Noelle Adams
Hired Bride by Noelle Adams:
At first, I totally though this was gonna be the same old same old with this over done trope, but it wasn’t. It was refreshing and fun and just beautiful! It’s told in dual POV so you get a well rounded story. There’s no guessing or inferring this way. It’s my favorite way to read a book. I loved both Mitchell and Deanna. They were so relatable with their flaws. Nothing major or angsty, just the little things we non-fiction characters tend to have LOL It made them likable and I was rooting for them even more because of it.
As it always goes with these arranged relationships, the heart always gets in the way. Go figure, right?! lol But it wasn’t predictable or eye-rolling. The story unfolded beautifully and without a hitch. Well done!
I really liked that they developed a friendship and that is was important even without the romantic relationship
Fun
Deanna has been the great older sister and a doting granddaughter. But their old family home is falling apart and they are trying to figure out how to fix it. Mitchell is trying to buy the restaurant his mom worked at. The sister of the owner is coming on to him, but he pretends Deanna is his fiancee. 6 months
I needed it to continue!
Sorry but I’m not into the details of the sex. Too much for me.
Enjoyed the storyline and the characters but the sex was a little more graphic than I prefer.
So cute. Nice storyline. Good ending.
A fun read and interesting story with interesting characters.
Again, knucklehead male lead…doesn’t believe in marriage, engages in marriage of convenience, agrees to fidelity and has sex with “wife” and breaks his “wife’s” heart, but she is stronger than him and says goodbye. He wants a real marriage.
This was a good read. Enjoyed it.
Really liked this book.
Different love theme.
Very good and easy to read
OK read. Not an original plot
Story was a little frustrating. The two main characters kept all their thoughts and feelings inside and never shared anything with each other – therefore, they had no idea what the other person thought about them or what was happening between them. I believe this whole relationship could have progressed to a happier ending much faster if they’d just learned to communicate their feelings and quit second-guessing what the other person thought.
Too much sex and too descriptive in the book for my tastes. You can have romance without all of that being said outright.
LIGHT READ, KEPT MY INTEREST.
Entertaining and funny
