For years, Deanna’s eccentric grandmother has been trying to marry her off to a rich man, and she’s finally managed to do it. Deanna has spent her life trying to take care of those she loves, and a six-month marriage should be a simple enough way to keep their historic Savannah house from falling down around their heads.
Sexy, obnoxious Mitchell Graves needs a wife to finalize a business deal, … business deal, and he snaps up Deanna as the most expedient option. Because she’s quiet, he thinks she’ll be easy enough to manage as a wife.
He couldn’t be more wrong.

I really liked the imagery in this book. Sometimes the author would explain an expression or a tone of voice in a way that I could clearly understand. I felt more connected while reading as the characters came to life.
Liked the eccentric grandmother and her “pride of cats”.
I am new too reading this author but I am a big fan now and look forward too reading more by her.
Very good read.
This story was cute and will be starting the second book soon.
Predictable
I enjoyed this book. It was a good romance with some humor.

A story with a different twist. I very much enjoyed reading this book.
Not as engaging as other books by same author
She laid out the emotional side of her characters and we get to see them work through life’s complications! So much heart and understanding!
This book had me laughing because of some of the smart remarks. It is definitely a good read.
