I could see myself so many times throughout this book that I have come back to it multiple times.
This is an allegory to portray the Christian’s journey through life.
I think there is a little of Much Afraid in each of us. The story illustrates the journey and how the Father prepares, encourages, and helps us in the journey. And the end of the journey? Soooo worth the struggles.
Better each time I read it. Have read this book several times, and each time I get something more.
This book truly makes you think about your life and the people you interact with on a daily basis.
I have read this book 3 times now. Each time I have gleaned kernels of insight, inspiration, and encouragement. I have recommended this book throughout the years to both family and friends when they have been feeling like they’re just not good enough. I love this book.
This is a really good book! I highly recommend it! It’s one that you’ll want to read all over again…
An old favorite.
One of the first and best devotional books!
This is one of the most memorable allegories I’ve ever read. Christian -themed but indirect and engaging. Life lessons here that are both childlike and mature. SimilR in some sorts to Pilgrims Progress.
One of the few books I’ve read multiple times and will always have in my library.
A must for believers…and everyone.
This is a devotional book and interspersed with an narrative along the lines of Pilgrim’s Progress. It will give you some good things to think about.
This book is an allegory where the main character goes from being much afraid to her new name, which I won’t say because that would be a spoiler. There are inspirational devotionals throughout the book. It’s wonderful to go on this journey with Much Afraid and her Shepherd.
When I started reading it I was confused, but as I keep going and got to understanding where it was going . It feel from my experience this book can only be read slowly it is deep
Every Christian should read this book.
Have read this twice and will probably read at least one more time!
This book inspires one to grow deeper spiritually, and highlights ways to identify and overcome some of the obstacles along the way.
Read this first years ago. I loved it then and enjoyed rereading it.
