Ever feel like your entire world has been turned on its head? That’s how I’ve felt ever since the gang and I found out that Nan has been keeping major family secrets stashed neatly away in the attic. What’s worse, we still don’t know exactly what happened, and I have so many follow-up questions, like is she still the same woman I always assumed she was? And can I ever fully trust her again? With … again?
With Nan unable to give me a straight answer, I invite my parents to join me for a cross-country train trip so that we can all discover the truth, once and for all.
Octo-Cat hitches a ride with us, too, and it’s a good thing he does, because it isn’t long before a dead body joins us in the dining car. Now we have two mysteries to solve, and fast—our lives and legacy depend on it.

Exceptional is the word to describe this book! I love the characters especially Grizabella and Octo cat. This book had me laughing and trying to figure out what would happen next. A great story with witty cats and a crazy trip turning into an investigation. This series is so much fun, I can’t wait for the next one!
Was given a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.
I love this series. I have a feeling it is probably a good thing I don’t really know what my cat is saying to me because I can answer as I want but it would be very handy at times to know what he is really saying. It is a good thing Octo-cat comes with a trust fund because once again they have a non-paying murder to solve. I confess I was hoping they would add Grizabella to the household. Thank you, Molly Fitz, for another enjoyable story. I can’t wait for the next book.
Angie and Octo-cat are at it again this time a murder mystery on a train. I really enjoyed this one, the story was fast paced and the quirky characters engaging. I love Octo-cat falling in love with Grizabella, it was so cute.
I enjoyed this latest book in the Pet Whisperer P.I. series, especially because it was different from the other books in the series. This one involved Angie’s mom and dad while her grandmother stayed in Maine. I loved the twists and turns in the story which takes place on a train ride to Georgia. It was funny to read about Octo-Cat and Grissabella. It was also nice to hear more about Angie’s new relatives after what happened in the previous book. I am also very much intrigued as to what is going to happen in the next book since one of Angie’s new cousins has arrived at her doorstep in Maine. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
On their way to meet a family they didn’t know they had, Angie stumbles upon a dead body. Loved how her dad is involved in helping her solve this case. Octo-Cat meets his match and finds love. Grizzabella was one snobby cat – but I really liked her. This are really cute mysteries and I love the how Angie can talk to animals.
I love this series! This is a fast fun read full of twists and turns. This book was a joy to read. You got to love Octo-Cat and Grizabella! I received an ARC copy of this book and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
Short and funny murder mystery with Angi and Octo-cat. This time they are on a train with her parents going to Georgia to visit newly discovered relatives. She meets Rhonda and Grizabella in the dining car. Later that night, she hears Grizabella yowling and goes to find Rhonda dead. She along with her parents, the cats, a would be murder mystery writer and the dining car steward have to work together to find clues as to who did it and why
Another awesome book. Full of Shocking surprises! Joy to read this delightful treasure
