The story-line of this book was so very promising; but the dialogue was completely corny. The story is supposed to take place in old and modern day Scotland; but the modern characters sounded like they were from the States; not very believable as Scottish. Overall, it just read like the author was just trying to hard.
No depth to the book,.
Loved the story as it switched between the present day and the year 1211 with Jamie and Bella while involving time travel and shifters. They have visions of their past and the fact they were not mated when Jamie died from battle wounds. At the appropriate time, they are sent back in time to assure they are mated before Jamie dies which will then ensure their survival today. It is an interesting story and a great read. I would highly recommend it.
Soulmates for life are thwarted by the hero’s death prior to the mating of their bodies centuries ago. Scotland, time travel, shape shifters, randy bears, and lots of foreplay in the story – it read more as a young adult novella.
