There can be only one…for both of them.
Three identical brothers known as the ‘power of three’ are on a quest to find their mates after being sent back in time to the year 1210 when their Highlander shifter clan first began. Nothing will deter them, not when they must save their future line from extinction.
Cherub, the faerie king’s daughter is one of the few who holds the ability to open a … ability to open a portal and travel through time. As a time-walker, she’s responsible for ensuring those of her fae-blooded kind living on Earth find their soul bound match, no matter what time they might live in. The last thing she expects though is for her shifter mate to travel into the past and begin closing in on her. Her destiny is set, to aid others in finding their chosen ones, not in becoming the very one she hunts.
Highland warrior shifter Kirk Matheson won’t rest until he finds the one woman who is meant to be his. Only when he discovers his mate has no wish to give up her duty in aiding her kind, does he decide the hunter must now become the hunted.
Determined in his mission to capture his elusive imp, he must find a way for them to be together…to bind the mischievous Fae Angel of Love to his side and ensure she accepts her greatest destiny, that of being his one and all.

I have been provided with a review copy of Highlander’s Seduction by the author for an impartial review. This is the third and final book in The Matheson Brothers trilogy and it picks up shortly after we left off in Highlander’s Passion. This book we get to finally see the last brother Kirk Matheson find the one that is meant just for him. It was really interesting to see how Kirk and Cherub find each other and how they work together through situations. I really enjoyed this series and getting to know each brother with their chosen one and I hate that it is over but I can’t wait to see them again in future series and the impact they have on people’s lives.
Highly entertaining, sexy fun and engaging romantic adventure filled with magic, family, secrets and passion….. could not get enough of these brothers and their quest for mates.
This journey belongs to the youngest of the Matheson brothers and is just as exciting as the previous two… Kirk Matheson is sexy, charming and determined to claim is destined mate Cherub. This was a story that had me hooked from the beginning and was hard to put down at the end.
This is full of adventures and about finding the one true mate. It has a nice plot and I like the characters who are well described. It is a good read with steamy scenes and lots of passion. I would have liked that the repeating from the triplets was left to not that frequent as it is now.
Enjoyable and easy to read.
Can the Fae Angel of Love be tamed by a mate? The answer is no, in fact, when the Fae Princess finds herself mated to a Highlander Bear Shifter from the future she rejects him. The chase is on!
This was a well written novel and a page-turner. Ms Wadsworth has done her homework on historical dialects and clans. She has a vivid imagination and fills her books with adventure, action and lots of steam. They are also full of heart.
After reading this, Book 3 of The Matheson Brothers series, I find myself wanting to read Books 1and 2 as, even though they can be read as standalone novels, familiar characters show up from previous and future stories.
These novels are not meant for those under 18.

This is the third story in the series and although it stands alone you’ll get a lot more from the story if you read the books in order. Kirk is the youngest of the three brother and finally it’s his turn to claim his mate. But Cherub is more than just his mate. She’s responsible for the happiness of all fae by bringing them to their fated match even if it must happen across time. She is one of the few timewalkers and without her help, the clan won’t be able to find be their mates. So even though Kirk is willing to do everything for her, she doesn’t think her calling allows room for a mate. Loved the characters and story and the overall story continues to develop. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
The continuing adventures of the Matheson Brothers: Iain, Findley and Kirk. In book one: Highlander’s Desire, Iain found his mind controlling mate Isla. In book two: Highlander’s Passion, Findley found his fire wielding mate Arabel. In book three: Highlander’s Seduction, Kirk finds his time traveling mate bonding mate Cherub. This is Kirk’s story. Kirk had been looking for his mate for five years in the current year. He discovers his mate is in the past in the year 1210. As you know all three brother and Isla time traveled back to the year 1210. They went to help their clansmen fight an important battle and save hundreds of fae lives. Kirk has been feeling the mating bond stronger than before and on the night of the full moon he went to seek for her. Cherub realized that Kirk was her mated match. However, her duty to her people is to make sure mated pairs met whether they be in the future or in the past. It was her job to bring them together. To this end she would never give up on her people and relinquish her duty as the Fae Angel of Love. For over a thousand years she has done her duty and she felt that if she mated that she would have to give it up. Nessa, the seer, advised Cherub to talk to Kirk and give him a chance to talk to her. Cherub did not want to hurt Kirk by rejecting him in person. So, when they met she was in mist form. Kirk could not see her. They spent the entire night together and then in the morning Cherub left his side. Cherub was having second thoughts about being mated to Kirk. Kirk had plead his case to her that she would not have to give up her duty but that he would join her and assist any way he could. Still Cherub had doubts until Nessa spoke with her again and told her the benefits of Kirk being by her side. The rest of the story covers the chase of Kirk after Cherub trying to convince her to be his and only his. There are adventures where Cherub realizes, on more than one occasion, that Kirk indeed would be a benefit by her side and not a detriment. That her days of loneliness would be over and her heart and life would be filled with the deepest of love. I cannot wait for book four: Highlander’s Kiss. Book four will continue following the three couples in their pursuit of helping their clansmen of the past in order to aid their clansmen of the future. The third book in The Matheson Brothers series which is a well-written series and I know I want to read the next book. This is Cherub, the faerie king’s daughter and Highland warrior shifter Kirk Matheson’s story. A book I was not putting down I wanted to know what was going to happen. This is a stunning tale. I was turning pages as fast as I could because I wanted to know what happened. At the same time, i kept slowing down because i wanted to savor such a good book. Oh the conundrum. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Highlander’s Seduction is the third book in the Matheson Brothers series and while it’s a stand alone romance, it would be best to read the previous books first to fully understand it all. Kirk, the third in the Power of Three, has traveled back in time to find his mate. Feeling her call, he finds Cherub, the Fae Angel of Love, and while she feels their strong connection and allows one night of being together, she refuses to complete the bond. Kirk is determined, though, and vows to show her how good it can be between them. With a terrible plot with their enemy, can Kirk keep Cherub safe, while she protects all of her kin surrounding them?
This book is full of so much emotion, such as longing, the need to protect, love, and even a bit of revenge, and all of it tugged at my heart. I have really enjoyed all three of these powerful brothers and their strong mates, but this book was really sweet because the lady who helps others find their matches finally meets her own. They have a journey of fighting for their mating and I love that while their connection was easy, her mind had to fully wrap around and catch up with her heart. They were both so protective of each other, both strong and independent and needed to prove to the other that they were better together rather than fighting alone. I loved their connection, I loved how things are nicely set up for future books and I can’t wait to read more about the Matheson clan!
While I truly enjoy the storylines in this series (I wouldn’t continue reading them otherwise), I am a little confounded by the stilted dialogue. It seems as if the characters from the 21st Century speak as stiffly and as properly as the characters from the 13th Century. Most of the people I know in the present speak in a much more relaxed fashion, especially with people they know well and love. The outward affection (i.e. PDA) is there, which is written differently for each century, but I’m still having a hard time with the characters speaking to one another. I did enjoy that Kirk was able to finally find his mate, even if she was willing to refuse the bond.
This book was one compelling read that kept me glued to my kindle from the very first page! The plot was well written and well planned and the characters were well developed which kept me totally engrossed throughout the entire book! This book was so enjoyable that I ended up reading it in one sitting!
Highlander’s Seduction by Joanne Wadsworth.
This is full of adventures and finding one true mate. It has a got plot and I like the characters. It is a good read but has steamy places. My free opinion. Thanks.
