Tavish and Julia’s story is full of lovable characters. Since the Clan Matheson series ties into the previous Matheson Brothers series, it’s like visiting old friends. Highlander’s Kiss sweeps the reader through time and paranormal shifters and fae abound. Also woven into the story are action, sizzle and humor. Highlander’s Kiss is book 1 of the Clan Matheson series but can be read as a standalone. I suggest reading the Matheson Brothers series first though just because they are fun reads and tie into this series so neatly. Highlander’s Kiss is a complete book
A bit disappointing in some ways but well written in others. Nice characters that are well described. A story of nice length. The fourth in this series and my opinion is that you have to read the previous before this one to get all the background story and characters. If you do not read them it will lack a lot in understanding this story.
I am really into timetravel and paranormal stories but in this one I missed more of it. The bear shifter theme was almost not there. It was very rushed and that made the story lack some things.
Enjoyable read.
Julia, a Fae aura reader from the 13th century, is fated to be mated to Tavish, a Doctor in modern times, at least according to him and Cherub, the Fae Angel of Love. Julia looks for the tell-tale sign of their auras “tugging” towards each other, something those that are soul-bound should do and sees nothing, so she rejects his advances and assurances.
This was a well written novel and a page-turner. Ms Wadsworth has done her homework on historical dialects and clans. She has a vivid imagination and fills her books with adventure, action and lots of steam. They are also full of heart.
These novels are not meant for those under 18.

This is the continuing story of the Mathesons. Once more we have a soul bound pair separated by time. Julia is from 1210 but when she falls from her horse, she is whisked to the present to see a modern doctor, Tavish. He is sure they are soul bound but Julia has unfinished business.
I like the characters and the story. Although you could probably read this alone you’ll understand everything much more if you read the stories in order. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
The continuing story of the Matheson Clan. Book four covers the chase between Tavish and his soul bound mate Julia. Tavish lives in the future In the same time as the Matheson brothers Iain, Finley and Kirk. Tavish is the Clan’s doctor and the brothers second cousin. Julia is of fae blood and sees auras. She is the twin of Finley’s mate Arabel, the fire wielder. Julia is also a dear friend of Kirk’s mate, Cherub, the Angel of Love. Their adventures include Julia getting taken by the enemy (more than once) and Tavish’s hunt for Julia’s parents. I wish the chase was a little longer between Tavish and Julia. Also, they kept repeating the same things over and over again to each other when they were having intimate relations (it was getting boring). Other than that, it was okay. This book was oh, so intense! I loved it. It kept me turning the pages and wanting more and more. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
This is book four of The Matheson Brothers series and I know I want the next book. I have enjoyed reading this series from the first book and each one just gets better. This is Fae-blooded Julia who can read another’s aura and Highland warrior shifter Tavish Matheson’s story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I also bought the book.
I hate that I cant give this book a 4 star or 5 star review. I love this type of story with paranormal time travel woven in but this story lacked something for me it was rushed at times but not enough history reveal the characters were only partially complete the romance was rushed the language was mixed dialogue wasn’t on point that being said I realize this is my personal opinion and may not be the opinion of someone else when may read this Author more then me. There no spoilers in my review.
Julia and Aura reader from the 1200s princess of her Fae blooded clan the Matheson’s has recently faced a loss along with her sister they assume that her parents are dead it’s what they have been told and she can no longer sense them and she blames herself for their loss she didn’t read the intentions of a neighboring clan well they said they wanted and alliance threw marriage but apparently it was a power move.
Tavish Matheson a bear shifter from the present 2000s is his clan doctor who has recently started to yearn for his fated mate and when Julia appears in his time needing assistance for and injury he knows she is ment to be his but Julia dosen’t see it that way she hasn’t felt the soul pool from his spirit and hers and she dosent trust her desire for him even though she feels and instant closeness with Tavish.
So Tavish will have to follow her into the past to convince her that they belong together and he will have to save her and figure out what happened to her parents.

Highlander’s Kiss by Joanne Wadsworth. Has very good characters and I like the plot as the story moved along. It has some mystery and intrigue added. A delightful enjoyable read to keep you turning the pages.
