A wickedly naughty 1920s romance, for fans of Downton Abbey.Banished to her grandmother’s castle in the Highlands of Scotland for refusing to marry her mother’s choice of suitor, defiant debutante Lady Ophelia soon falls in love with the wildly unsuitable Hamish! To Ophelia’s annoyance, he’s already spoken for, and glamorous French coquette Felicité has no intention of letting the ruggedly … letting the ruggedly attractive estate manager slip from the service of her bed.
Intrigue abounds, as Ophelia discovers that there’s more to her rival than meets the eye, and that the Castle is a hotbed of illicit cavorting.

I wanted to like this book more. An engaging main character and a zany group of supporting characters. Maybe just a bit too zany. The kind of book that demands a box of bonbons
Yucky!
Pretty awful, couldn’t get beyond page 15. Neither witty, nor smart.
This premise was good but the delivery and story poor and boring
This book was difficult to read because of the English brogue. Although somewhat comical and interesting, it isn’t a feel-goid book.
Didn’t care for book.. Characters too superficial to become involved with.
Nobody has any morals anymore
Didn’t make it half way thru the first chapter.
I am an avid reader but This story was slow to develop. I stopped ready 1/2 way thru the book
