After inheriting a house in Seattle, Jax O’Connell is living the life of her dreams as a glass beadmaker and jewelry designer. When she gets an offer to display her work during a bead shop’s opening festivities, it’s an opportunity Jax can’t resist—even though Rosie Perez, the store’s owner, is the surliest person Jax has ever met.
The weekend’s events become a tangled mess when a young … young beadmaker is found dead nearby and several oddball bead enthusiasts are suspects. Jax must string together the clues to clear her friend Tessa’s name—and do it before the killer strikes again.

I’ve read all of this series, waiting for more
Loved following along with this mystery. The characters are great. The involvement was just enough.
I really liked the book. I love to read mysteries and this mystery was top of the line.
Enjoyed reading about bead making, never heard of it before.
Cute, quick-read book.
This book was fun and easy reading. There was enough mystery and romance to keep your interest. Cozy mystery is a great description!
A fun read
Fun characters and entertaining story. Also includes beading ideas!
Being from Seattle, I really enjoyed reading a cozy mystery that takes place up there. It was a fun book and I can’t wait to read more in the series.
I liked it because it centered around a glass bead maker. The descriptions of making the beads was accurate. I liked the characters, even though a little predictable.
This wasn’t the kind of book I normally read, but I found it very good and entertaining. Definitely worth a read!
As someone who beads for relaxation, this was fun to read
Fun little cozy mystery. This is a quick and easy read if you just need a light book. This was the first time I have read anything by this author. Author did a great job of weaving the mystery to keep you wondering who was guilty.
I started this book twice and never could get interested. Maybe I’ll try again at a later date.
An easy, comfortable read.
good cozy mystery
This is the first story I’ve read that included the art of bead making. Of course, a punny title always brings a smile to my face.
If you are interested in beads, then this is the book for you.
This book had an unusual setting, and beating community in the Pacific Northwest, and a nice range of characters to intersect. There was good description and a range of locales, but it fell short of a dynamite read.
I was uninterested in finishing it.
