Even though I already own Joynell Schultz’s “Hidden: The Quirky Tale of a Pregnant Fairy Godmother (Tales of the Fairy Godmothers Book 1),” I agreed to review it as an ARC for Her via B00|{$P®0UT; I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
Hidden: The Quirky Tale of a Pregnant Fairy Godmother by Joynell Schultz is an awesome story to read. This is book number one in this awesome series that I have loved reading. I hgihly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy, humor and paranormal romances.

Funny and heart warming
Joynell Schultz is one of my all-time favourite authors. There is no gore and no overly sexual scenes in it which makes it a pleasure to read. A story that tells a tale from both sides…fairy and human and has a lovely happy ending. Exactly what is needed in this very upside down world we are living in called reality.
It seems the title says it all….only it fails to mention a highly original storyline. Whimsical and quirky we have a yarn about a true fairy godmother who gets into her precarious situation giving a man his wish. Trying to follow the rules of her world’s rule she finds herself in Chicago looking for a man named John. In her predicament she meets a man who decides to help her….before she goes into labor.
This is a wonderfully story you cannot but feel good reading it.
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

Hidden: The Quirky Tale of a Pregnant Fairy Godmother by Joynell Schultz is a fantasy story about a fairy godmother named Cierra who is pregnant by a human man she met in a dream. Her magic is not working and she needs to find the father of her child. Cierra asks her father for help and her sends her to the city of Chicago to find what she needs. This is a twisty, fun, and humorous story that I found entrancingly sweet and humorous. It made me smile from start to finish. It’s absolutely the perfect read for any fantasy romance lover. Hidden: The Quirky Tale of a Pregnant Fairy Godmother is a very special fairy tale.
I’m normally not a fan of this type of story, the romantic kind. But, this was such a sweet and gentle and best of all, clean, romance. I really enjoyed it.

What is a Fairy Godmother to do when she finds her self pregnant? Leave her world to find the father of the baby, which is what Celia, the main character and a Fairy Godmother does. She must go to Earth to find the father of the baby she is pregnant with because Fairy Godmothers don’t raise the babies. All she knows is the man’s name is John and he has a silver arm. Celia has never been to Earth before, so when she finds her self there trying to find this John, she will also get a lesson on what Earth is truly like instead of what she was taught. Little does she know that finding John will be more difficult than expected. This place called Chicago, is much larger than she realized and definitely different from what she was taught. With a little help from a thief, Celia, begins her search for John so she can leave the baby with him and return home. During her search though, things don’t always go as planned. Her plans will go through several twists and her life will be changed forever, but in a good way.
This was an interesting novella and gave a little insight into a Fairy Godmother’s life that rarely gets told. It was an easy and enjoyable read. Following Celia on her search made an interesting story. Not knowing what she might find around the corner or the outcome when she finds John, has the reader wondering throughout the story what will happen. Nothing is given away so that you want to keep reading to find out. Very enjoyable read.

Highly entertaining, magical, action packed and engaging adventure filled with exciting charters, heart racing twists and thrilling emotional turns….. a great read from beginning to end. Really enjoyed this story!
This was a sweet, endearing story about doing the right thing, finding love in unexpected places, and listening to the heart. And that even fairy godmothers don’t always have their act together. I really enjoyed reading about life in Chicago from a fairy’s perspective, and hope that someday we’ll get to read about how life in Erde has been treating Rosaleen and Dane.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Being a fairy godmother seems to be a dangerous occupation. When the wish is not what she hears, one fairy godmother ends up granting a wish that lands her in a very sticky predicament. Not all is lost – she manages to find love with a skeptic but golden-hearted thief. As always, Joynell Schultz gives a sweet and inspiring love story that is equal parts magic, hope and wishes granted for dreams come true.

A purple haired fairy finds herself pregnant with a human child, and tries to track the father down to deal with the consequences.
She meets Dane the Thief and his daughter Rosalee.
Think you have trouble with technology some time? Imagine you were from another reality.
Hilarity, love, loss, and the gift of being different and enjoying it are all embraced in this fast paced colorful story.
A chance for new life and love in a completely different world, that pretty out of this world.
I have been a fan of Joy’s since the first book I ever read from her. She mixes reality and fantasy so smoothly that the characters seem to come alive. They are no longer just a character in a book but someone you would like to be your friend!
This book is special to me because I truly loved it! I just relate to her characters and I find myself wishing that I HAD a fairy godmother like Hidden or Cinderella which was one of my all-time favorite movies! I loved Disney’s treatment even though the book was more grim.
How can you go wrong with this premise? I think most people daydream and probably would like to have a fairy godmother grant their wishes too.
This is a delightful story I would urge all to read. Let yourself be captivated by Joy’s wonderful stories and characters. You won’t be disappointed I can guarantee. If they don’t move you to be better you must be Scrooge or
The Grinch! Be happy and read Joy’s books!
I liked this book because it is full of fansy & made me laugh. It is good, clean, silly things that are magical-just like in the classic Disney movies. It is worth the time to read if you want to feel good afterwards & want to lift your spirits. I am ready to read the next book.
Funny, slightly twisted fairytale. Although this could be a little more polished, it was an enjoyable read, with an interesting plot line. I mean, what’s not to like about a pregnant fairy godmother (hilarious), trying to disguise said pregnancy with magic & find the baby’s father in the verboten human realm. A light, easy read.
Magical Connections – A collection of novellas, short and spin-off stories. They were well edited with interesting characters and suspense and intrigue, and touches of romance. Even the stories that were part of a series, could be read without knowing any other book from that series. There are no cliffhangers or continuations to another book for the rest of the story, while I certainly enjoyed. I’m looking forward to reading more of Ms. Schultz. 4*
Fangs & Fairy Dust – I enjoy Ms. Schultz’s stories, which I discovered in Hexes and Ohs, and was happy to find this collection. This is a well written and believable novella introducing the Angels of Sojourn series, of which Blood & Holy Water is the first book. The main characters, a male vampire and a female human and her mother, are interesting and believable, along with action and dialog. It is fast paced and contains vivid descriptions making everything easy to visualize. Fortunately, it is not a cliffhanger. 4*
The Mail-Order Bride – I read this little story in Hexes and Ohs, my first by her. It’s a new twist on a witch’s tale, which makes for a cute and intriguing romance. Entertaining and enjoyable. 4*
Hidden – A lovely, heartwarming novella about discovery, love and kindness, and loneliness. Searching for her baby’s father leads a pregnant fairy to new adventures and learning experiences, and a vast change to her life, while she shares her godmother skills without her magic. There’s plenty of humor and danger included in this sweet story. 5*
The Enchanted Apothecary – A sweet, romantic, little story where while grieving for her mother, she has suspicions of a male customer and his use of dark magic, and how she confronts him. There’s a good balance of suspense, intrigue and romance. The ending brings a big smile when the truth is told. This story is similar to the romantic stories of the superhero wives world. 4*
One Possible Future – I read this short in the Angels & Magic: Bonus Collection. An interesting, well written, quickly read story between a psychic and a fallen angel and the possible futures awaiting them. The next story is available in the Wings & Wonder boxed set. 4*
Bitten – A sad but heartwarming short story of a mother’s love for her small son bitten by a werewolf. The lengths she went to keep him safe. This is a spinoff from the Angels of Sojourn Series. 4*
Magical Connections end.
