It all started with a naked man in an alley….Oh did that get your attention? Good, now listen up. For years I’ve been fighting to be on my own and out from under my father’s control. I thought I’d finally managed it after I got my dream job in a London emergency room. Things were going great. I was making good money and even had a place of my own.I should have known the good times wouldn’t last. … good times wouldn’t last. I apparently was engaged to a man my father picked out and soon found myself kidnapped, tortured, and forced into becoming someone else. My whole life I’ve been lied to and something was hidden inside me. And now it’s set free.
This is a medium burn reverse harem where the leading character will not have to choose between her men. It is an 18+ book that has strong language, sexual situations, and physical & verbal abuse.

Let me say this first, I am not a prude. You cannot be when reading books in this genre. Still, a lot of authors of reverse harem stories seem to not able to balance the amount of sex. Often the complexities of the sexual scenes destroy the whole story. It is not so in Hidden Hope.
The author takes the time to introduce you to the story and main characters. You get to know the main character and all her men. The main storyline is not sacrificed and when action happens, it is very well written and hot. As in, oh my, let’s switch the air conditioning on hot…
One of my strong favorites is the internal dialogue with her wolf. Think this is a typical example of a character taking over from the author and managing to get away with it. She is sassy and funny. She made me laugh out loud quite a few times. This balances the story in what has heavy subjects as parental abuse and kidnapping. You cannot but admire the balance the author managed to achieve.
This is the first book and I cannot wait to read the sequel.
Great series
Viv’s world get turned upside down after a night where she find an injured man in the alley, then finds out her father has some pretty crappy plans for her. I really liked Viv’s strength. The guys are interesting, even if one of them is kind of a jerk. Thankfully, book two is already out, so I can download it to find out what happens next 🙂
Sometimes you doubt why you waited so long to read a book. This was in that category for sure. This is a story about an extraordinary young woman thrown into the werewolf world. She is the frist alpha female in 200 years. People want her but she isn’t having any of it. Can the guys help her? Be her prospect mates? Will she remain safe and the bigger question will she fulfill her destiny?
I absolutely loved this book!!! It kept you hooked from the very beginning. Had a great story and fell in love with the FMC and her men. It definitely kept you on your toes. I would highly recommend this book for anyone looking for hot wolf shifters, witty female character, and action packed story that is a true page turner and leaves you wanting more! Thank you for such a great book!
Wow what a GREAT start to this series. I can’t wait for the next book! Must read!
Amazing ! The medical stuff was in point since she was working on werewolves! The character growth was awesome! I want to kill some people but I’m hoping their revenge comes soon! And maybe smack othets ! Overall great read can’t wait for more!
I loved this book! I loved the relationship the characters had and how the main character was really relatable. The use of descriptive words made the book more realistic and also the plot just was amazing. Just when you thought nothing else was going to happen something changes or happens causing you to sit on your seat waiting to see what happens next. I cannot wait to read the next book.
I definitely loved this book! I loved Viv! She is such a Bada$$ Alpha Female! I adore all the guys as well, especially the most dominant alphahole! The storyline is awesomely unique and will keep you entrapped to the very end. I would highly recommend this book and cannot wait for the next book!
I enjoyed reading this book. Viv is a strong and independent woman who fights throughout the book to keep her independence. I love her character because she has things thrown at her left and right but she meets those things head-on. I can’t wait to read the next book.
Elizabeth Knight amazed me with Hidden Hope! I love shifter books and this ticked all the boxes. The unique twist on shifters, the reason for the lack of alpha females and alpha males and the fact that the species was essentially dying out really caught my eye and kept me intrigued. The huge amount of drama throughout, whether it be with Viv’s past meeting the present, the craziness with the truth about who and what she is, the psychotic fiancé, or the amount of guys currently keeping her safe, really solidified my decision to read this book in one sitting. It was that good. Besides all of the delicious drama and action, you get to really enjoy Viv as the strong female lead that she is. Her past with her family definitely wasn’t picture perfect, way less than so, but despite the strict rules and lack of love or acknowledgement, Viv was able to overcome that past and blossom into a successful and dedicated doctor who didn’t rely on daddy for anything. I know that with the information we found out as we read (can’t give out spoilers), Viv is destined for greatness. I can’t wait to see how she is able to set the wolves onto the right path towards a better future. Will the direction they are currently heading be more of a hassle than they think? I’m hoping the next book brings out even more secrets and excitement to keep us on our toes wondering what really is going on with the wolves.
What an incredible book by Elizabeth Knight! Absolutely loved reading Hidden Hope. Viv, has had a hard life but she’s doing it on her own without help from her so called parents. After treating her the way her father especially has he really has no right to call himself her father.. A chance encounter has Viv stumbling upon Koti and Rik and the rest is history. Not really!!! There’s so much more to uncover. All the emotions and the sassy side of Viv is amazing, had me laughing to then angry on her behalf. Only a great book has the ability to do this. From betrayal to epic surprises, this shifter RH has it all it definitely does not disappoint. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happened next only to discover I had read the entire book! With a cliffhanger, that leaves you wanting more I honestly cannot wait for the next book!!!!!
Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.
Hidden Hope is the first book in a new paranormal reverse harem by Elizabeth Knight and it was great. I enjoyed the story so much and the storyline was very interesting.
At first, I did have a little trouble getting into the story but after I got into a grove I found myself highly enjoying the story and excited to find out what happened next. Viv is a strong main female character, she is smart (were talking doctor), she cares for people, has a little bit of a quirky personality, and doesn’t take any crap. She had a lonely past, she didn’t get along with family and really didn’t have friends, plus she’s a workaholic, so she was pretty much a loner. However, she is funny, logical, and determined, all this makes her a very interesting character.
In this reverse harem, the guys get chapters which is my preference when it comes to reverse harems. I love seeing things from the guys povs, getting a read on them and their feelings add a little more depth to the story for me. I love the guys but of course, there is that one alpha butt who has to fight his feelings and cause undue pain and confusion. I can’t wait to see how long it takes him to cave. I love how bonded she is with the guys especially after being alone for so long, they make her happy and is helping her adjust to a new world.
This story is sorta crazy, there is a lot of family drama, werewolf drama, and romantic drama so of course it was gonna hold my interest. I also feel like the story had a couple of aspects that I never came across before, I wish I could go into more detail without spoiling it. One of my favorite things about this book is that it was funny, I love it when I laugh throughout a book and this one had me cracking up. Something occurs about halfway through the book and a new voice is introduced to the story and the commentary is everything. I am really hoping to have more of this in the next book.
Hidden Hope is a compelling story that was full of drama, romance, steam, violence, history, werewolves, kidnappings, crazy plot twists and so much more. The story ended on a cliffhanger and I have one huge question that I want to be answered and I know it’s gonna come up in the next book so I’m sticking around to see where this story goes.
If you looking for a book with an fmc who is independent, strong willed, and with a heart of gold, then you need to read this. We have Vivianna who has had a harsh upbringing but still manages to make a life of her own. She is strong and independent. She works hard for what she has achieved. Then one day her father comes and tries to take that away. She doesn’t let him get to her. Her father is ruthless and just an awful man so be prepared to hate him. Then she meets Rik and Koit one night and Rik is indebted to her for saving Koit. However, everything after that just takes off in the story and it is freaking amazing. Then she meets Darius and Tav. You have fighting, betrayals, shock and more. I couldn’t put the book down. I fell in love with Vivianna because of who she is. I cannot wait for the next book to find out what is going to happen. I got a feeling we are just scraping the surface in this story.
What an amazing take on the werewolf genre and wrapping it up in an epic adventure. We meet Viv and boy was she an amazing character, showcasing that women can be strong aswell as the men. She suffers with social norms and ultimately settles for a simple life, or so she thought. I loved the drama and darkness that Elizabeth Knight brings to Viv’s story. Her men are such perfect guys that just want to protect her and love her. The take on the wolves and their characteristics were a breath of fresh air. I really enjoyed the focus on being one with the wolf, not to mention Viv’s inner dialogue and that ending had me itching for more! Amazing first book and one that any shifter lover will adore!
Very good new series. Lots of action and steam. The ending was not a horrible cliffhanger, book hangover which I was thankful for. The world building is very good and the characters are enticing. Most of the men are genuinely likable and the holdout is workable. The FMC is strong and resilient and while not “super badass” she’s believable and earns your respect. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next installment.
