Filled to the brim with suspense… in addition to loads of steam. The story unfolds in a seamless fashion as Erica begins to chip away at tight-lipped Gabriel’s many secrets. I read this book in two days because I HAD to see what happened!
Hidden Gabriel – a review by Rosemary Kenny
Erica Mira’s Mom is having cancer therapy, which is very expensive to fund, for a single person and her only sister has distanced herself.
While traveling towards snow-bound Maine, Erica has a skid/crash on a lonely road, where there’s no phone signal to summon help, or alert her Mom why she’s been delayed.
Where does Erica go for help?
Who’s the mysterious Gabriel?
What strange noises does she hear that night at his isolated home on the mountain?
Hearing strange noises around the house when she’s alone, plus, (ex-Marines Captain) Gabriel’s daily disappearances plays havoc with Erica’s imagination, especially when he seems to blow hot and cold in his emotions.
What happens when she tries to leave on foot?
Where does she find Tiffany’s diary?

This story was full of suspense and steam. A wonderful book and great read.
I really liked it. It was a mystery/ thriller type along with a love story. Something different for me.
Good read
Wonderful love story/thriller. Erica is delightful. I enjoyed the story and hope that you do as well.
Allow a full day for this thriller which is definitely for fully mature adults only.
I enjoyed reading this story
It was exciting and yet thrilling to the end
Stopped reading it half way through. Terrible writing and no chemistry.
unusual plot
Leaves you guessing until the end!
This book desperately needed proof readers. So many typos “she check the batter of her phone” and just outright mistakes “he sat down beside her. From across the room he spoke.” “He unlocked the handcuffs….she ran down the hallway in the handcuffs” Just no.
Suspense and romance. Great combo
This story goes on & on & nothing much happens. I’m only finishing it to see if it has a happy ending. I do like the main characters but that’s about all I like so far.
Not enough depth of characters or story to keep me going.
A true page turner.
3.5. The plot was strong and convoluted. It could have been a really good mystery-romance.
The heroine was too wishy-washy and her whininess got in the way of the eerieness of the situation. The mystery man was too closed off, and the sexual tension didn’t feel like it built naturally. The evil villain was the most fully developed character, and the paranormal aspect was touched on, but brushed off too easily by the woman thinking “how hot the man is”. I wanted to love this, but it just wasn’t quite finished.
