HE’S BACK.
Detective Edward Petrosky has always felt the pain of the world like a razor blade in his gut, even more so when he considers the killers who have escaped conviction. But he can’t let that stop him, not after a grandmother is found murdered on her front lawn, the victim of some machete-wielding psycho.
The case is strange from the outset: no one heard a thing despite the public nature of the crime. An unknown child’s footprints cover the property without a trace of the kid. And a grisly discovery in the basement has the entire police force stunned. Nothing makes sense. Whatever secrets their victim had, she’d taken them, quietly, to her grave.
But when another woman’s corpse turns up with a familiar brand on her ribcage, Petrosky realizes the horrible truth: a killer he’d thought was long gone from Ash Park has remained, lurking in their midst. And who knows how many victims this butcher has collected? For those he’s kidnapped, any day might be their last, imprisoned, unseen, with only their screams and a deranged lunatic for company.
Now Petrosky must risk everything he holds sacred to track the most sadistic killer Ash Park has ever seen, a man whose thirst for carnage extends far beyond mere bloodletting. But saving innocent lives will require an unbearable sacrifice.
One from which he may never recover.
Hidden is the emotional fourth book in the hair-raising Ash Park series. If you like Blake Crouch, Dean Koontz, or Paula Hawkins, you’ll love Ash Park.

Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4)
By Meghan O’Flynn
I don’t know how this series can keep getting better but it does, but here we are at book 4 and I think it has enhanced the series just a little bit more. So far, I can’t pick which book in this series is my favourite. I love Meghan’s writing style she has the real knack of pulling you into the stories from the beginning of the book. Still nightmare material and day time reading for me! But if you are into thriller books this series is for you, if it could be possible the deaths and torture seem to be getting worse, everything you need for a good thriller book. Like always start at the beginning to get background history.
Hidden (Ash Park #4) by Meghan O’Flynn was another dark, gritty, tale that will give me nightmares.
The fourth book in the Ash Park series, and I didn’t think it could get any more, sinnister. Taking place two years after Repressed, an old foe has reservice, or rather, got sloppy and is once again on Petrosky’s and Morrison’s radar. This time the stress, guilt, and addiction is taking its toll on Petrosky, will this be his last case, or simply be his last….?
There is only so much the mind can take, and I will tell you that binge-reading this series has put me on the darker side of humanity. As much as I love this series, I found myself putting this book down, to regroup, look at kittens, before I could continue on. They say real life is stranger than fiction, well then you haven’t read anything from Meghan O’Flynn yet. This book is up there with some of the darkest of Criminal Minds episodes; and frankly, this whole series would make one hell of a TV series, or movie collection.
Meghan O’Flynn again has captured me with superb writing, and the ability to keep the tension, and suspense high with every word that is written. And not just around the killer, but around Petrosky. His mind has always been in a dark place because of his daughters gruesome death, but in this book, he’s on the edge. Every victim is her, every missing girl is her, every little girl/child he can’t save is her. That subplot got me hard in the feels, I know what it’s like to lose a family member to murder, it’s a pain that never heals. Petrosky, as a parent, won’t let himself heal, and that’s driving him to be self-destructive and losing his fight to be apart of the world. This book is a hard raw emotional read, that rips out your heart, stomps on it, only to repeat the process over and over.
Overall I give this book and series my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval. It’s one for the ages, and one that will leave you wondering why cops do what they do, and if you should be locking your family up and throwing away the key.
Happy Reading

Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4) by Meghan O’Flynn. I LOVE this series. They are creepy, messy and just a little crazy. Edward Petrosky is a detective who lives his job on his heart and in his head. He feels like he’s not done his job every time he thinks a killer gets away. During a new case, a grandmother is found on her lawn murdered. There are some child’s footsteps all around but no trace of the kid. Then when another woman is found murdered with the same brand on her Ed begins to thinks a killer he chased before is back on the prowl. Ed must up his game to catch this killer before he kills again and how many has he killed so far? These books suck you in and you won’t want to put them down so be prepared! Also you might not want to read them after dark !
Hidden an Ash Park Novel by Meghan O’Flynn is a five star novel. This is the fourth novel in the series and they just keep getting better and better. Like to be scared? Then this is the book for you. The first introduction to this book is inside the head of a killer. The way she was able to write from this deep, dark, mysterious perspective is frightening. I didn’t know at first if I was going to be able to continue reading, but after pushing forward, I am glad I did. Just like the other Ash Park novels, this one does not disappoint. It is full of intrigue, mystery, frightening murders and plenty of work on the relationships of the three main characters. Once I got past the prologue, I couldn’t put it down!

Five Stars
Meghan O’Flynn has done it again. This story continues the lives of two detectives and a attorney. Petrosky is an addict and some habits are harder to kick than most. I felt so bad for him through most of the books. But I also think he gave up too quickly. I have always felt that you can’t do something for yourself because of someone else. If you want to change it has to be because you felt something that made you want to be and do better. People might hold you to this place but your will to be here is what keeps you going every day. The author gave me chills with this one. I don’t understand how the author sleeps with these stories floating in her head. I’m off to watch a Disney movie after finishing this story. The kill blended in so well that it makes you want to question every stranger around you. The killers background shapes him to be this way and it’s a sad life kids have to live when they suffer at the hands of the ones who are suppose to love and protect you. I might be repeating myself but I will at it just in case I haven’t. This author could be on the same level as Stephen King. Every time I open his book I’m left looking over my shoulder and jumping at shadows. This author does that to me as well. I can’t believe how good this series has been so far. Murder, abduction, mystery and addiction from chapter to chapter you are spellbound into a world that compels you to keep going. Even when your scared.
Hidden is disturbing and dark. Each of these stories uncovers a scarier and more twisted crime. This time the detectives are possibly dealing with someone from the past, which makes it all the more important to them. Some moments are so shocking, and sad, that I literally had to walk away from the story for a bit and gather myself. It really affected me. This writer really has a way of pulling you in. Another fantastic read in the Ash Park series, and though I wonder where do we go from here, I look forward to the next book.
Hidden An Ash Park Novel by Meghan O’Flynn
4 Stars!!!!
This series seems to get darker and darker. I once again found myself drawn into the world created
by the author. I again took the journey out of my comfort genre to the dark and thrilling adventures
of the police of Ash Park. The author has a very unique and chilling writing style.
I really found myself drawn to Petrosky and also feeling just a bit sorry for him. He seems to be on
a bit of a self destruct mode and you just really find yourself routing for him. As the case draws on you find that the ghosts of his past really do impact the way he is in the present. I could feel the emotions coming off the pages. As I was glad that the case in the book was brought to an end I found myself really feelling so much concern for Petrosky. The author leaves us on a cliffhanger and that just makes you hunger for what is to come. I will be on tenter hooks waiting for the next book in this
series.

Just when you think this series can’t get any better out comes book 4 and Ms O’Flynn takes the series to a whole new level. I have to say this has got to be my favourite from the series so far. The writing again was amazing dragging me into the story from the very first page. So whilst I think it would be perfectly fine to read this book as a standalone I would highly recommend the rest of the series too. I liked Detective Petrosky in the previous books so I was really looking forward to getting more from him in this one and he didn’t disappoint at all! Again the story was quite dark, very gritty but I have come to expect this from the series and although not always my kind of thing it has made for a very exciting read. The authors writing is very detailed so you can easily imagine what you’re reading, which at times is a little much but I still really enjoyed the story. She definitely knows how to keep me on the edge of my seat that’s for sure!
I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!!
Hidden, the fourth book in the Ash Park series, by Meghan O’Flynn continues the mysteries that surround the police force and their loved ones. Once again, it’s not necessary to have read the preceding stories as it is all explained quite succinctly in this one. This novel takes you through many twists and turns as the plot continues. However, it never feels too rushed or too squashed, with each twist making sense. This is a thrilling novel.
Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4)
By Meghan O’Flynn
Another awesome story by Meghan!!! In my opinion you should read the first three books in this series so you have a better background of what’s going on. The stories this author weaves so intricately gets into my head and stays there. There are dark and sadistic things going on in this story and will keep you on the edge of your seat. There are some unpredictable moments and great loss. I cannot say enough great things about this book and the entire series so far. I can’t wait to read the next one. This is a must read you will not be disappointed!

Rated 5 stars
When I started reading this it felt like coming home…back to where I am familiar. I get to hang out with Shannon, Morrison and Petrosky. The two cops have a great friendship and wit about them. They are enjoyable to read. I love their camaraderie with each other. Add Shannon in and they are an unstoppable team. Then after reading I couldn’t stop the OMG that kept coming to my head. This book…….Dang! It’s a tough read! So many emotions……mostly anger and devastation mixed in with WHY??….and WHAT?…..along with a smidge of humor and don’t forget the tears. This book deals with many of the demons that live within Petrosky as well as the evilness that his job enlists him to do. This is a stubborn case that in the past has affected all three of the main characters.
Many of the secondary characters discussed were in the previous books. So while you could probably get by without reading the first 3 stories I would recommend reading them to get insight into the main characters. Building relationships takes time and investment. These main characters have done that through the last three books and they continue in this one. That being said….I’m not sure how I’m going to read the last book…..Everything is changing.

The story Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4) by Meghan O’Flynn is the next thrilling story in a series that hooked me in from the first book. This story draws you in from the very beginning and you won’t want to put it down until you have finished the last page. There are mysteries to be solved and I felt just like I was putting together a puzzle to find out the entire picture of what is going on. It had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next and if all the questions raised would be answered. One of the stories main characters and one that I enjoyed reading about, is Detective Edward Petrosky. Petrosky is a man that is haunted by the thought of the killers that have escaped conviction. He is affected by these thoughts and he doesn’t always use the best or wisest methods to cope. Petrosky knows that the current case that he is working on is strange and there are many questions that need to be answered. When Petrosky realizes that a killer he thought was gone is still in Ash Park he knows that he has to be tracked down and stopped. Petrosky is a man that feels the burden of guilt and grief. Will he be able to stop an evil/sadistic killer before another victim is claimed? Read this book to find out. I felt empathy for Petrosky as he is someone that believes that he has failed those he cares for. While he can be sarcastic at times or just plain cranky, he is trying to cope with pain that for him never goes away. It is also enjoyable to read about the characters that care about Petrosky. They are ones that he can always depend on even when he finds his life off track or tumbling downward. There are moments in this book that are intense and suspenseful. I had to remind myself to breathe. It also had my emotions going up and down like a rollercoaster. This is a book I would highly recommend reading. I can’t wait to read the next story in the series.
Meghan O’Flynn continues to weave such an amazing story. This third installment in the Ash Park series does not disappoint. The psychological thriller grabbed my attention immediately. I found myself covering my eyes as I read; I definitely felt every emotion presented. I loved this book and love the series. I cannot wait to see how the series continues!
Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn is the fourth book in her Ash Park series. This is a gripping series that will have you utterly hooked.
Detective Edward Petrosky feels the weight of every single case. The ones they win and the ones they don’t. So when a body turns up on a front lawn of a house he knows that he has to catch this killer.
But the more the investigation goes on the more unusual it becomes.
And when a second body turns up Edward is suddenly very aware of he fact that he knows who is committing the crimes – a killer he thought long gone from Ash Park. And it is only a matter of time before the killer strikes again.
Like the other books this book will grab your attention from he start. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you reading and to keep you guessing throughout. The author really knows how to take you in a journey with her characters. Another great book.
Hidden, An Ash Park Novel by Meghan O’Flynn
5-stars
This novel is amazing. The authors detail and main character development is wonderful. Every scene was easy to picture even though several were quite gruesome. This novel focuses on Detective Edward Petrosky and the changes his character faces.
Having read other novels associated with this series I can say that it can be read as a standalone book. Each book has a different main character but the other characters are mentioned and involved in each. Enough back story and detail are provided to keep the reader from being confused. I absolutely loved this novel. It kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time.
Meghan O’Flynns, Hidden is book four in the in Ash Park Novel Series. AND this BOOK gutted ME!!! I have read each book in this series and this one was vivid, hard, amazing, and gripped me in ways that I never thought a book could. I have spent so much time in Ash Park and this just shocked me. Meghan truly has created such an amazing book, world, characters that captured my mind and my heart. I truly did NOT put this BOOK down!!! I love a book that lets me feel the emotions the characters are, I love to be able to close my eyes and picture what they are going through and that is WHY I LOVE this series, book, and the author. Her writing style is simply perfection.
Detective Edward Petrosky serves and protects Ash Park, and he refuses to let a killer continue his carnage on his town. A grandmother killed on her front lawn, a finding in the basement that shocks everyone, a clues that show a child was there but no trace of this child. Then another killing and this shows the killer they all thought was gone, IS NOT and the killer is on the loose in Ash Park! Edward will do anything to find this kidnapper and killer, but the question will remain, how much he will have to scarafice to stop the madness.
Hidden is the fourth book in Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series. It is not my first encounter with the writer but it was my first read of the series and what a read it was! Do NOT read it late in the evening if you do plan to sleep … I faced a sleepless night haunted by the images my brain came up with when reading the book … oh my goodness! Everyone told me that you can read this story as a standalone and yes, you can BUT I felt so often that I didn’t get all the nuances because I had not read the first 3 books and did not know who was new and who was recurring and the whole backstory so … now I am stuck … meaning I will need to pick up the first 3 books before going for the last one in the series! Detective Petrosky is NOT letting me go … I am still haunted by his pain, his loss, his guilt, his grief …
This story reminded me an extended version of Criminal Minds episode … the gore, the twistiness of the monster, the puzzle that needs to have all the pieces on place to relieve the big picture … I have no words but “pick up a copy and read it over the weekend”. The Ash Park series will be haunting me for some time …
Simply Amazing! Meghan O’Flynn has done it again and has done it better with Hidden, Book 4 in the Ash Park Series. This series just keeps getting better and better. This book follows Detective Petrosky and Detective Morrison try and find a serial killer that has come back to Ash Park. They let him get away once and they are determined to put this guy away for good! Not only do we follow them in their work lives but we delve deeper into their personal lives as well. I’m not going to lie and say this one isn’t a hard one to read, but it is. That being said, this book takes you on a serious emotional roller coaster and you will definitely need to pull the tissues out for this one! You are either cheering or encouraging one or more characters and at the same time you want a couple of characters to seriously be destroyed! LOL Like I said…EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER! Either way, I loved this book and loved the characters in this book. The author is so good at pulling you in and making you feel like you are a part of the story that by the time you come to…you are finished with the book! Ms. O’Flynn has become one of my new favorite authors because of this series and I’m truly honored to have found her and her wonderful stories. I’m excited to see what she has in store for us in the next and final book in the series! I hope she can top this book!

I’ve taken 2 days to write this review as I’m still trying to process all that happened. Ive become attached to all these characters through this series and the events in this book pushed me to the brink of throwing in the towel.
I was not prepared for the emotional roller coaster this took me on. The story had me hooked and I had to finish and to say the ending leaves me wanting to pick up book 5 to see what happens would be an understatement, I NEED to read it!
I can’t give away anything that happens here as it is a must read as you go.
Each novel in the Ash Park series just gets creepier and creepier. This one is sick and twisted. This book isn’t for the faint of heart. Hidden starts off with a murder just like the rest of the series. But that basement…man, why are basements so creepy? The killers in each of these stories are so messed up.
Hidden is book 4 and is part of a series that really should be read in order. The main characters, Detectives Morrison and Petrosky, are hard at work trying to make Ash Park a safer place. But evil ranks high here. And it seems as if its an evil they already know. References are made to situations from the first three books so if you haven’t read the first ones you will be wondering about certain things. This series is so worth the time.
O’Flynn’s writing makes my heart pound and my breath short! Her stories also make me hug my loved ones a little extra after every chapter! I would recommend this book, this author and this series to the reader that likes gore, mystery, and heartache. This is not a fairytale with rainbows and unicorns. No sparkly sunshines here.
