Four swords to fight by your side, tried and true and in the breath of time. One through hope, one through pain, one through grief and one through gain.Hands clasped under the moon, the three fates shall repair the loom. Like greeting an old friend, if that friend is a slap across the face from reality, Lucy launches herself headfirst into a new series of challenges that come with the territory of … challenges that come with the territory of being the Queen of Hell. After finding herself caught in the middle of an ongoing conflict simmering just below the surface of Hell’s five realms, Lucy must contend with a growing list of the dos and don’ts of ruling while making sure she comes out unscathed.
On top of being pulled every which way by royal duties and rules, Lucy must also juggle a newfound romantic life she couldn’t have previously imagined. As her love for Cain grows, the arrival of a mysterious stranger throws a wrench in her initial plans. And of course, he’s not the only one who has their eyes set on the vivacious queen.
As if things couldn’t get any harder, the uncertainty of Lucy’s future increases as a lurking threat begins to rear its head. Before long, she is faced with the decision about how to protect herself, those she loves, and a kingdom that has not only grown on her, but depends on her birthright to keep it in balance. Can Lucy figure out the key to keeping her world intact while also opening her heart to the love of all the men in her life before it’s too late?
Trigger warning – this book contains situations of grief and loss.

Lucy is awesome! This book has some really steamy moments! I really enjoy her inner monologue? Or the headlines she is constantly coming up with so funny!!! I am really looking forward to book 3 because there is still so much more I need to know!
Lucy’s adventure continues in book two of the series. With Cain and Bodhan by her side, she continues to learn how to rule Hell. The cast from book one remains and we get peeks of new people.
The cast of characters is fun. Lucy has an interesting inner monologue and seems to attract the oddest things. Cain and Bodhan both continue to try to woo Lucy and tamp down jealousy, so their interactions are fun. I love Virana. I wish we got to see more of her and learn about how she came to be who she is now. Spin off idea? I can only hope!
The plot is consistent. The writing is smooth. The dialogue natural sounding. The editing is very well done. The world building is nice. It’s very clear, but not overly wordy.
Overall, I would recommend this series. I’m looking forward to the next book!
In this part of her story we get to follow Lucy and hear her hilarious inner headlines as she gets used to being the queen of hell, deals with finally meeting the man she has been dreaming about for years and the repercussions from that, and tries to defend her throne against those who would want to overthrow her. The characters are wonderful and we get to meet new ones in this book and the story has enough action and twists to keep you interested until the very end.
Lucy is in over her head, but trying her best. She has a huge jail break. She gets cornered by a white wolf. So much for our Lucy to figure out with her magic suppressed. Join Lucy in Hel l
Okay, first off I love Lucy’s character. She is just hilarious with her inner monologues, her sassiness that made me laugh out loud/ snort while reading, her admirable quiet strength to take on a position of power and rule a kingdom that she doesn’t even know existed, let alone any idea how to run it.
The story continues where we left off from book 1. We met some interesting new characters that will play a huge role in the story. Her relationship with Cain continues to grow and I’m like a girl with a crush by the way I squealed as we are slowly introduced with the other member of Team Lucy. Overall, I truly enjoyed reading it and impatiently waiting for book 3.
I received an ARC and I’m voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This story is getting better and better, the steam level got kicked up a notch, the characters are evolving and becoming seriously awesome. Well Lucy was already freakin awesome, I love her “headlines” for every situation. She is seriously hilarious and self deprecating, a very enjoyable, entertaining and easy to relate to character for sure. I love the pace of this series as well, it has a smooth even pace that gives time for things to develop naturally. The world building is beyond incredible and imaginative, with new plants and creatures. The plot has gotten some fun and intriguing twists this book and I’m loving it! Our bad guy has made himself known and the ending was completely unexpected! I can not wait to read book three and find out how Lucy gets through it!
