The last thing Octavia expects when she finds herself with Aaron Viteri’s gun pressed to the back of her head is that he won’t pull the trigger. After all, she’s a Ferrara, and her family and the Viteris have been enemies for decades. Not to mention she has snuck into his apartment to steal the files her family desperately needs. But Aaron offers her a deal. He’ll spare her life if she pretends to … pretends to be his sex slave and helps him take over his father’s business. Octavia knows she can’t trust the cold, arrogant, controlling, and devilishly handsome Aaron, but her only choice is to accept his offer.
The more time she spends with him, the more she realizes he isn’t who everyone thinks he is. And the way he looks at her makes her want to tie him to the bed and put his perfect mouth to better use. But if Octavia wants to stop a looming war before it’s too late, she can’t let her growing feelings for her enemy get in the way.
This is the first installment in the three-book Loving Your Enemy series. It contains potentially triggering situations, violence, strong language, sexual content, and a cliffhanger.
Reading order:
HERS TO TAKE (Book 1)
HERS TO SAVE (Book 2)
HERS TO LOVE (Book 3)

A great female character for a movie script ,
Let’s start a discussion about who would be the play the main character in a movie script .
Loved the fact a woman was the strong one! Octavia is a bad ass.
This book was really good. I read it in 2 days I couldn’t put it down. I don’t want to give too much away about the book but enemies falling for each other couldn’t have been written any better.
Aaron and Octavia are enemies but become great lovers… It’s a forbidden love but this book is to die for. Read the entire series…
Octavia is your lady if you’re looking for a strong dominant woman who’s not afraid to face what life throws at her.
She is the daughter of a drug lord who goes to spy and steal files from the son of their enemy another drug lord. After he acknowledges who she is, he basically convinced / threatened her to work with him to sabotage his father’s businesses. The trick is she will have to play his slave in order to accomplish this.
The author managed a totally engrossing story that avoided almost all of the usual overused plot formulas. I loved a strong heroine that was by no means virginal or helpless, even as a hostage.
read all off this series really enjoyed all off them
Love conquers all. Love your enemies.
Definitely want to read the other books in the series. Romeo and Juliette ish but fun.
This was a great combination of crime and romance. Everything did not take place in bed. It will probably not win a great book award, but it is a great read. I wish I had read it in the summer on the beach. The one thing I did not like is that is one of those reads that makes buy at least one more book to find out the ending.I don’t like being asked to continue to fork over money to read an ending
Good read, looking forward to reading the continuation however wished it had not ended so abruptly.
Thought it was exciting and action packed with steamy sexuality that had me excited
Loved the strong female lead. A good balance between story line and steam.
I wanted to enjoy HERS TO TAKE. I admire a great written captive, slave romance. Unfortunately, HERS TO TAKE was written badly. There was so many grammatical errors that ruined the story. The storyline seemed childlike, and the female protagonist, I’m not even sure what to say about her. On top of an unpleasant female protagonist, the writing is lazy. With writing like this, there is no way I would buy the next book in the series. I swiped so many pages without reading them because I couldn’t tolerate the writing.
Fun book. Like a quarter romance novel, but actually has a fun story. One of three books, and you kind of have to read them all…
Still reading.
Too cutesy and predictable
Was a good read, stayed interested through the whole thing. Would definitely recommend reading this
nice story but the characters dont really have a connection.
I liked this book. I kept feeling like somethin bad was goin to happen to the protagonist but so far that isnt the case. Great read.
