Strong women and the dedicated former SEALs who defend them. Gripping action and spicy romance meet heroism and intrigue.
Married to the SEAL
He was supposed to pretend to love her.
To protect her. To keep her son safe.
He failed at all three.
Matteo goes undercover, pretending to be married to a dignitary’s daughter, never expecting the charade to get personal. But it does, just as HERO Force … get personal. But it does, just as HERO Force finds the link between the woman and their strongest enemy to-date.
Justice for the SEAL
Logan O’Malley has an affair with an older woman, only to learn she’s the judge assigned to the case that could end HERO Force forever. Worse yet, an old villain has come back looking for his own brand of justice, and the judge is about to be caught in the crossfire.
Targeted by the SEAL
HERO Force is on a mission to save senator’s daughter Cassidy Lane from a cult when a skydiving accident leaves Navy SEAL Austin Dixon to complete the mission alone. Trouble is, Austin has a history with Cassidy—and she definitely doesn’t want any saving.
Cassidy is an investigative journalist who infiltrated the cult after another reporter disappeared there on assignment. Together they must learn to trust the broken bridge that joins them as they weave their way deeper into The Community and find out the truth about Cassidy’s missing friend, Julianne. But when they’re exposed, will they be able to untangle themselves from the cult’s grasp and make it to safety?

I have read all of the books in this boxset. Each one is exciting and romantic and is a standalone.
Married to the SEAL: Having grown up on the streets before becoming a Navy SEAL, the very last thing Matteo Cruz thought would be required of him in the line of duty, was to marry the daughter of the President of a small nation. He is happy to be a fake husband, but when confronted with a priest, marriage vows and a wedding ring, Matteo’s heart comes to a standstill. In his book you don’t mess with the Church, a priest and marriage vows are sacred. Even in his world. Yet here he is. Married to a beautiful woman with a son. Keeping Grace safe turns out to be a lot harder than Matteo would have anticipated but with the threat of annihilation hanging over Grace and Nico, Matteo discovers that his teammates have anticipated his need. The tension between Grace and Matteo is pretty intense and when under duress it explodes. However much Matteo wishes to keep his distance, he finally comes to the realisation that Grace is the woman for him, that is if he can keep her alive long enough to make it a reality. I really do like Matteo and his respectful treatment of both Grace and Nico touched me.
Justice for the SEAL: New Kid on the block, Logan O’Malley, is faced with an almost impossible truth. The people that he looked up to and had the most respect for are under investigation and it looks as if they may well be guilty. However, in this fast-paced and highly suspenseful novel, nothing is as it seems. A seemingly accidental meeting between Gemma ad Logan is, in fact, well-orchestrated, but when Gemma comes under threat she knows that the only person she can turn to is the sexy, younger man she slept with. This plot is well thought out and kept me in suspense throughout, right up to the twist in the tale at the end.
Targeted by the SEAL: Tense, fast-paced and nail-biting drama, as the HERO force is tasked by a Senator to extract his journalist daughter from a cult’s community. The mission didn’t start well, leaving Austin on his own to infiltrate the camp. As it turns out, the situation is far worse than Austin could have anticipated and as he and Cassidy race against time to find her missing friend, the team begins to question their assignment. Austin and Cassidy were in love years before, but finding themselves in a volatile situation causes the old attraction to spiral up once more. As with other books in this particular boxset, there is a twist in the tail and all is not as it seems.
I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Enjoyable
Another wonderful grouping of the guys of HERO. Each man has had to overcome obstacles to get the women they love. And each woman is strong in her own right.
JUSTICE FOR THE SEAL
5 Stars
This is a book 5 in the H.E.R.O. Force series and it features H.E.R.O. Force member Logan O’Malley and Judge Gemma Faraday. This is a fantastic story line with superb action from cover to cover. Gemma was amazing! All she’s been through and what she survived and she still has enough confidence to go after a sexy younger man. You go girl! And Logan? He’s amazing, super smart and he’s everything Gemma deserves. This is my favorite book in the series so far. The ending was so unexpected! I can’t wait to read more of this fabulous series.
MARRIED TO THE SEAL
3.5 Stars
This is book 4 in the HERO Force series and it features Matteo Cruz and Grace Vasile. Their marriage was legal but it was not born out of love. I guess it would be hard to spend EVERY day with someone, especially someone who looked and behaved like the SEAL he was, and not develop feelings for him.The scene in the hotel between them was a total turn OFF for me. It lasted too long and was taken to a whole other level. There was no real SEAL-type action in this story, which was a little disappointing. After the ending, I’m definitely looking forward to book 5.
Great series and definitely recommended! I reread the first box set before tackling this one and wish I had the next set to just keep going with these characters. Very entertaining!
.
Just started the set n decided to buy the others
Love the characters , the action , I am a speed reader and I was pushing myself because I wanted to know the outcome. Great entertainment
Love it
Hero Force Box Set: Books 4–6
By Amy Gamet
MARRIED TO THE SEAL (4)
An inconvenient marriage of convenience is the basis of this story. Matteo, a retired Navy SEAL, marries Grace Vasile at the behest of her father. President Vasile wants to ensure that his daughter and grandson are safe as his competition for the upcoming presidential election uses terror tactics to oust Vasile from office and prevent him from running for office again. Why marriage? Because the country is conservative and the marriage, though fictitious, will provide not only protection but cover up the unwed situation his daughter has found herself in. With bombings, assassination attempts and a kidnapping perpetrated by Komanda Ten and HERO Force working to thwart this terrorist team there is not a lot of time for romance between Grace and Matteo – but there is enough 😉 [4 stars]
JUSTICE FOR THE SEAL (5)
Logan O’Malley “Doc” has been told something that shakes his trust in the company he works for. As he is contemplating the future while talking to one of his employers an explosion occurs that pushes him into staying on the team. After making a connection during what was supposed to be a one-night-stand he finds out that Gemma Faraday is a justice and their relationship might impact an upcoming case against his employers – the owners of HERO. While Gemma worries about whether or not to recuse herself and Logan wonders how to convince Gemma there could be more than a one night stand for the two of them the bad guys do their worst blowing things up, making trouble, hurting people and doing what bad guys do. There are a few twists and turns in the story and some soul searching to be done before Logan and Gemma can get to their HEA. This was an easy to read fast-paced story that kept me entertained today. Not my favorite of the HERO series but a fine story all in all. [3 stars]
TARGETED BY THE SEAL (6)
A second chance at love is given to Austin Dixon and Cassidy Lane when he is sent with his team to take her out of The Community…a weird group with a man who claims to speak to God. Cassidy is in search of her best friend who went missing and won’t give up on her – no matter what. The book is filled with action from beginning to end and a bad guy or two, in addition to the cult leader, present themselves and are dealt with before the end of the book. I enjoyed this book but found it more fantasy than reality but then…sometimes a bit of fantasy is just what the doctor ordered. [3-4 stars]
Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
3-4 Stars
I just love this author. Somehow in all her books, she gives us a great story, Know that this book is part of a series, it’s a stand alone.
MARRIED TO THE SEAL – In this one we have Matteo Cruz, ex-Navy Seal now member of HERO Force, and Grace Vasile, daughter of the President of a small country that Russia seems determined to take over. She had a child out of wedlock and Matteo is assigned to protect her and “marry” her for 3 months. The marriage is performed by a priest and Matteo is conflicted. He is falling for Grace, but will not consummate the marriage since divorce is not an option for him.
There is intrigue, suspense, bad guys, hunky heroes, a baby and a great deal of chemistry between Matteo and Grace.
But it is also a story of how different cultures view unwed mothers, about how faith can rule out actions, about sacrifices and how our past molds our present and future. And let’s not forget love.
JUSTICE FOR THE SEAL – have to confess that after the firsts few pages of reading the story I was turned off by 2 things: one, having sex with a total stranger, and secondly , the female protagonist was 43 and the male 30. But, then I realized that one, this was totally a subjective view on my part and two, it was a story written by a talented author, so I needed to put my personal believes aside and enjoy the book. So, I did.
It was well written and since the book is not very long, the story moved fairly quickly. Though it’s a stand alone, if you have read the previous books, you will be re-visiting Cowboy, Jax and Logan, whose story this is. You will also get more insight about the trial mentioned in previous books .
The story was filled with suspense, whodunit , bombs, bad guys, hunky ex- military guys and of course romance.
My only other observation was that there was a big jump of time between chapters 31 and 32 that would have benefited with more information between the two time periods.
All in all, an entertaining story. I felt it was more of a 3.5 stars story, but I have a great deal of respect for the author, so I gave it a 4 star.
TARGETED BY THE SEAL- this story captures you immediately. The plot was fast paced, full of suspense, evil guys, a cult, a strong minded journalist , many twists and turns, and another hunky HERO man.
Austin and Cassidy have a history that ended 10 years ago when Austin was considered not good enough for Cassidy. Neither forgot each other.
Austin and HERO are called upon to retrieve Cassidy from a cult she has infiltrated with the intention of rescuing Julianne, a friend/co-worker. Her friend is presumed dead, but Cassidy doesn’t believe that.
The author managed to give us a story that had you wondering what would happen next, while taking you on a rollercoaster ride with her story , wonder whether or not Julianne would be rescue, would the baby survive and would Austin and Cassidy find their HEA.
Another good addition to Ms Gamet’s HERO series.
All great stories by this talented author
These are great stories that can each be read alone. Lots of action with plenty of steam. The characters were all well developed and likeable and each story has its own unique plot with previous characters making appearances. I have reviewed these books individually as they came out I loved each one.
