~STORY REVIEW~
A Fast-paced story with Heart-gripping Scenes, Moving on, Letting grief go and Loving with all the heart. I Loved Sarah & Cooper!
Sarah is a Nursing student while Cooper is a Mountain Rescuer Medic. Both have experienced loss in their Pasts which has hardened them.
The two met when He rescues her & her bro-Matt. Matt’s badly injured in their Climb..It may take months before he’ll fully recover. It was a very difficult time for Sarah..
Since Coop Rescued them, He wasn’t able to stop thinking about Matt’s recovery..And Sarah. His heart noticed her when it’d sat vacant since His brother’s death.
So Cooper & Sarah form a Sweet Friendship.. Dinner, Trails, Fun together, Climbing..The Spark was evident and Soon they gave in to the need.
It was meant to be a fling.. She’d go when Matt is ok to move..But tell that to their Hearts. Soon Feelings come into play. Ending this now would be better, ya? WRONG.
As Matt recovers, Sarah & Cooper stay away from eachother..It hurts so much (As seen in his One visit).
Is letting the Guilt win Right? Is letting the best thing that happened to him go worth it?
The next weeks are Hard for the two. Then Coop gets his answers On a very Dangerous Rescue..A Great Advice + Heart-aching Scenes.
Love’s worth the fight, He was a fool to let Sarah go..Will She give him a 2nd Chance?
Gladly She did!!
Sweet Scenes Ahead. The two are obviously busy, him with rescues (& Learning his passion-Pilot!), Her With Matt’s Recovery & Med School. But Sarah+Cooper make it work *Yay!*.
The Epilogue was Cute + The ending Gorgeous!
P.s. This was my 1st in this series, I’m excited to read the others!
*Audiobook Given for a Honest Review.*
Love the emotion, love and adventure in this book.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
2 people broken by tragedy find each other but can they stay together?
Sarah has suffered greatly and now may lose her brother too, then she would be all alone.
Cooper will never get past his brothers death, so he will never put himself in the position to love again.
Then he rescues her and her brother from a mountain, it’s just a start.
Love how Dakota builds her stories with such great detail and knowledge, you feel like your on the mountain and in a valley of flowers.
I listened to this as an Audiobook.
Sarah and her brother Matt are mountain climbing when tragedy strikes and Matt takes a terrible fall and have to be rescued by helicopter which is where they meet Cooper who is part of the flight team. Cooper lost a brother and has shut himself of to love because of that and has put himself into his work and shut himself off from living. When he meets Sarah there is something about her that makes him decide to go back to the hospital and take her the things she left behind. When they share the night together Cooper tells her that he only wants it to be a casual thing between them. When she leaves, he still can’t get her off his mind.
This is a great story of learning to let yourself love and be loved after tragedy. The chemistry between Cooper and Sarah was smoking hot.
The audio version is well worth the time and credit. Robert Hatchet and Kelli Lindsay are new narrators to me and I will say they did an outstanding job with this book. They really know how to bring out the emotions when needed. I was given a copy of the audio version and I am gladly leaving and honest review
Her Wild Coast Rescue is the third of Dakota’s Wild Coast stories. Immediate attraction between protagonists Sarah and Cooper when he rescues her and her brother after an accident on a mountain lead to a will they, won’t they, can they, can’t they? He is unsure of getting involved, she is waiting to see if her brother recovers from his accident. Loving and hot, with scenery you can see.
NOTE: The following is for the August / September 2020 updated release to this book.
Cooper and Sarah find themselves drawn to one another after Cooper helps rescue her and her badly injured brother, Matt. Life has thrown them some curve balls. Sarah has worked hard to move forward while Cooper is stuck with the pain of his past.
As things become deliciously heated between them, feelings start to develop, making things complicated.
My favorite passage:
““Practice does make perfect,” I manage, though I’m quickly losing the ability to speak because of how good he’s making me feel.
“That’s right, angel,” he says into my ear. “And I’m a very slow learner.””
…aaaaahhhhhhh…. Baby needs lots o’ practice.
I had the pleasure of listening as I followed along with the book. I enjoyed the narrators, Robert Hatchet and Kelli Lindsay.
He rescues her and her brother but maybe she will be the rescuer in the end
Her WIld Coast Rescue is an insta-love, wounded hero romance story between Sarah and Cooper. This is the second book in the series that I have read and found the story-line to be entertaining and the characters interesting but I would have liked more depth and backstory to them. Otherwise there was a lot of snow melting sizzling heat between them and some drama to fill out the story.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Wild Coast Rescue by Dakota Davies is the third book in the Wild Hearts series. It is a standalone in a series, told in first person pov.
Robert Hatchet and Kelli Linsday take the dual narration on their behalf.
Wild Coast Rescue is a small town/medical/insta-lust romance with all the feels, lots of sweetness, and some steam. It’s a beautiful story of letting go, growing, and living to the fullest. The story is fast-paced and constantly evolving, I really liked this.
Wild Coast Rescue isn’t a long audiobook, only 3 hours and 48 minutes. Both narrators are new to me and didn’t disappoint. They were able to pull me into the story and make it feel realistic.
Robert Hatchet has a low, deep voice, while Kelli Lindsay’s voice is soft, but you can hear a slight rasp in it if you listen carefully.
Some transitions from one chapter to another happened too fast, which made it sound a little strange at times;
I love a story with a couple of life lessons build-in. Wild Coast Rescue was a story like that, it tells us to enjoy life and follow our hearts because it can be over before we know it.
The audiobook is well narrated and perfect for people who need something quick to listen to but still have all the feels and steam.
This was a great read that will keep your interest. It’s not overly long but has a lot packed in. Cooper and Sarah are great together and their chemistry is off the charts. Fate brings them together when Cooper is part of the rescue team that saves her and her brother. Sarah helps him heal from the guilt of not being able to save his brother. Likable characters and an entertaining story. Full of action and drama.
A great, well written- story.
The chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts.
This is a fun, hot, sexy read with some drama to keep you hooked and a much-anticipated happy ending.
I received this book from Hidden Gem for my honest review.
The cover doesn’t do this book justice as it doesn’t tell what the story is about other then that it’s a romance novel. The characters Sarah and Cooper are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. They are well-rounded in that they have a background story. They both have faults and yet they both have successes. It’s a great story, even though I felt like it was rushed in the romance part. I felt like this book could have been stretched to at least two others books. I also wanted to know more about Sarah and Cooper as their relationship grows past the book ending in this book. I really enjoyed this book and will for sure at Dakota Davies to my collection of authors.
This was short but not too short and packed a punch. While being rescued by Cooper, Sarah and Cooper develop a connection they can’t explain but also can’t deny. After a near miss, Cooper realizes what he wants and has to put his past to rest. I only wish there was an epilogue to get more of them in the future.
Highly emotional, awesome hot alpha protector
Her Wild Coast Rescue by Dakota Davies is a well written book of emotional drama as Sarah deals with her severely injured brother and finding solace in Cooper’s arms, an emotionally closed off rescuer.
I enjoyed the plot of this book and found myself drawn to both Sarah and Cooper. These characters are interesting and engaging with tons of chemistry to keep things steamy.
Overall, an enjoyable read by an author I have not read before Her Wild Coast Rescue. I also appreciated the steamy and promising HEA for Sarah and Cooper.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
** spoiler alert ** Cooper never lets anyone close. Sarah is determined to do anything she can for those she loves. Will he be able to let down his walls? Will get everything she has longed for?
Loved the chemistry between these two! I didn’t blame Cooper for being scared, but loved how he admitted his feelings before it was to late. I loved how Sarah was determined to do what she could for those around her and her dedication to her brother. Good read!
This thrilling pager turner will keep you glued to the pages. Cooper and Sarah meet on a rescue mission that involves her brother who is injured. Her skills as a nurse helps bring him to safety and also endears her to Cooper because of her devotion to her brother. He has vowed to never love again after losing his brother and dedicated his life to saving others because he could not save his brother. The only problem with that is Sarah has already found a place in his heart. Will she be the one to tear down the walls surrounding his heart to let love in again? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of tis book for an honest review.
