I love, love, LOVE this book! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Caitlyn’s ability to work humour into intense situations is wonderful. I can’t read a romance if the characters have no sense of haha. Highly recommend to all the people to read.
I love Caitlyn’s books, and have a couple of them.
In Her Vigilant Seal I could really understand what this big sister was going through, and loved the way that Mason came in like a knight in shining armor. How he and his teammates stood by her.
It was great seeing their relationship bloom and come to its fulfilling.
The only thing that seemed a little bit over the top (at first) was all the delicious sounding desserts Sophia was baking for them all the time, but having a husband who exercises like crazy, and two busy teenage boys, I can actually believe that big, busy seals could eat through all that goodness.
Her Vigilant Seal – Caitlyn O’Leary — Sophia goes looking for her runaway brother and finds a family of SEALs. As Mason realizes how much better his life is with her in it, trouble calls. Trouble really has poor timing in novels! Happy Reading!
I enjoyed this first Midnight Delta book. While I’ve occasionally read Caitlyn O’Leary, i became a fan with Her Vigilant SEAL. Marvelous characters surrounded by a story that captures and holds your interest.
Loved, loved, loved it!
I’ve had this awesome book on my to read list for quite awhile and I am now kicking myself for not getting to it sooner. The passion, the suspense, the action, the brotherly SEAL comrades, the strength of a sister’s love and protection for her little brother….these are some of the many reasons that Her Vigilant Seal had such a wonderful impact on me and I heartily recommend it.
Sophia has had a rough life. Her little brother was put in foster care and now he has run away. She goes searching for him and hears a woman being attacked. She goes to rescue her and she gets attacked herself. Mason is a Navy SEAL and was out giving homeless vets something to eat. A girl comes up to him and tells him to call the cops, a woman is being attacked. He rescues her and the men are arrested. Mason is in awe of the strength and bravery of the woman but she has trust issues. When she starts receiving prank calls, Mason investigates. He puts Sophia under his protection and that of his teammates.
Sexy and suspenseful. Mason is a SEAL, so you know he’s strong and protective. Now Sophia got on my nerves. She had absolutely no self esteem and was constantly putting herself down. Several grammar mistakes but still a pretty good story.
This book was absolutely fantastic and emotional rollercoaster ride for me. Sophia was pretty much on her own looking after her brother but when she is attacked its Mason to the rescue and holy Hotness can he come and rescue me? One of my all time favorite books.
I was lucky enough to get a free copy of this book a long time ago and I voluntarily chose to review it . This is well written and the characters are awesome. I have been reading Caitlyn O’Leary for a long time and I am a fan. I fell in love with this book on the first page. It is the start of a wonder full series and I plan to read every book in the series. This isn’t a quick easy read but it is one you can’t put it down. I encourage everyone to get this book.
I love when the heroine actually does something in these alpha male books. She’s not a physical fighter, but she also doesn’t let her guy walk all over her. If you’re a fan of Susan Stoker, try this book. Sophia was a great character, I felt for her and cheered for her. I want my own Mason (are there any guys like that actually out there?). I also loved that Mason didn’t have a lot of ‘going alpha’ on her. The scene where Sophia uses her card winnings (she just doesn’t lie, I can relate!) to feed the team is great. This was a great introduction to a new author and team for me.
Loved Mason and Sophia’s story. Mason is a Navy Seal, and while he was out walking he heard a woman scream. He found sophia with two guys hurting her and trying to rape her. Sophia is also trying to get custody back for her brother after their mother died. There’s a lot of heat, but also when the seal team come together to protect one of their own. Loved this book, had a great story line.
Sophia has a heart of gold and is filled with empathy for everyone, even if they don’t deserve it. She is working hard to earn money to gain custody of her younger brother who is in foster care. Sophia is out searching for her brother when she is attacked by two men, Mason appears out of nowhere to save her. Mason is a Navy SEAL in the right place at the right time! He has never met a woman like Sophia, ever. He needs to spend time with her, but how can her get her to trust that he is sincere? Sophia has lost much of her confidence and self esteem do to a few men in her life, can Mason & his overwhelming SEAL Brotherhood show her how special & deserving she really is? What a great story, I definitely recommend it!
Awesome series
While Sophia is looking for her brother who has runaway, she encounters a horrible situation. Mason is a true knight in shining armor and rescues Sophia in all ways. The story follows as they fall in love and get the happily ever after they deserve. There is action throughout the entire story with a twist at the end proving Mason is a true hero.
Really enjoyed reading this book.
Loved it! Another awesome SEAL story.
Plus, I got a charming, sweet, shy, girl-next-door for a heroine who still had a strength all her own, which I’ve been waiting to find more of!
Mason…. He was perfect for her! Uber protective, swoony sweet, just bossy enough, he tripped my trigger.
Sofia and Mason’s story was a fun read. Really enjoyed the story. Look forward to reading more in the series to see how everyone’s story plays out.
A hunky hero with a need to protect the woman he has fallen for, what more can I say. Mason is a SEAL and he has a need to prove to Sophia that she can lean on him and let him help her. Sophia is fiercely independent and does not trust easily. These two eventually work it out. Mason’s SEAL team give us characters that we can look forward to falling more in love with in future books in this series.
Wow
Sophia was out looking for her little brother he ran away from his foster home to look for his dad. She can join a young woman screaming and got attacked. Mason came to her rescue. He beat the guys back and then went with her to the emergency room. The police officer knows her. They end up spending time together and they start to fall for each other.
I loved this story-line. Sophia had so many problems, heartaches and disappointments in her life that it was amazing that she got up in the morning. Mom dying of cancer, young brother in Foster Care and her working 70 hours a week to pay bills and care for her Mom. She worried how she would find a way to get custody of her young brother and have a family again. Taking a late night walk which she knew was a bad idea, she was attack and all hell broke loose in her world. The amazing Mason, Navy Seal, entered her world and her life became his mission. This is a story of twists, turns and solutions to a better way of life. It is a story of hard work, long hours and making changes. I loved it!
