HER TRIPLET’S MISTLETOE DAD by Patricia Johns is book four in her Home to Eagle’s Rest series and brings us the story of best friends Gabby and Seth.
Gabby was a bit too stand-offish for my liking. She managed to land in quite a fix and I understood the emotional pain she was going through, but Seth had been her best friends for years yet she kept keeping him at arms length.
Seth had his own heartbreak to live past, but he was a kind, gentle soul and easy to like.
I recommend this story to anyone wanting a sweet holiday romance filled with turmoil, joy and happily ever afters.
Best friends, new born triplets, damaged hearts and a well orchestrated secret.
Gabby and Seth make great friends, true support for all of life’s trials, including these adorable triplet boys. Thankfully Seth is there to help Gabby with all of her needs, minus the true love and happy ever after. Gabby is adjusting to life as a new mom, concentrating on her babies needs and keeping their parentage from being the talk of the town.
Seth is enjoying having his best friend back in his life. A gal pal to hang out with. One that cooks, cleans, listens and looks way too beautiful in a dress. He is trying to balance his sorrow and grief with his current day happiness, after all it is better to have loved and lost, right?
Now if they can just learn how to live in Eagle’s Nest while hiding the biggest secret in town. But what if they aren’t the only ones living a lie? A secret that is only there to protect the innocent is ok, right?
This book was heartwarming on every page! I adored the characters, they are all so real! I feel like I should add Ms. Bea to my Christmas list. There was definitely elements of surprise that caught me off-guard, but in a really good way. I enjoy the writing style of Patricia Johns and I am delighted to recommend this book. Anyone looking for a break from hustle and bustle, grab this book, your favorite hot drink and enjoy the world of Gabby and Seth in the last story of Home to Eagle’s Rest.
I received a copy of this book to read, with no requirement to give a positive review. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own.
I enjoyed Seth and Gabby’s story. Marriage of convenience to his best friend Gabby to help with the expense for her and her newborn triplets health was suppose to be easy. Seth and Gabby soon find it anything but! I find you can not go wrong with a Patricia Johns book, she writes so well you feel like you are watching a movie as the story unfolds. You will not want to put it down, so settle in with a cup of hot cocoa, and just enjoy this wonderful book.
Gabby and Seth were best friends and they spent alot of time together. However when Seth married Bonnie she became jealous of the time Seth spent with Gabby. She thought that maybe Gabby was secretly in love with Seth and would try to come between them.
Gabby was dating a guy for a while now and really thought he was the one she would marry until she discovered that he already was married. So they separated and he left Gabby pregnant with triplets. Gabby had the babies prematurely and they required special formula which is very expensive.
So Gabby came home to be with family so that she could get over her broken heart and have help from family and friends to take care of the triplets. As friends do, Seth came up with a way that he could help Gabby take care of the babies and get the formula that they needed. He married her and put her and the babies on his insurance.
This is a really good book that makes you smile, cry and miss the friends that you have made when the book is finished. Another awesome book by Patricia Johns, one I think you truly will enjoy
