Soon though, Atlas and Maya are in more danger than they bargained for. Someone’s targeting Maya. Someone with a grudge who just won’t quit. And, as Atlas swears to protect her, she realizes that soon she’s going to have to share the secret she harbors because of him.
They lost each other once. Will fate force them apart yet again? Or will their shared past bring them together as the family they should have always been?
This ex-military, secret baby, romantic suspense novel contains no cliffhangers and no cheating. Pantie-shredding Happily Ever After guaranteed.

A riveting second chance read! It is a well written, interesting, and passionate read. The story moves along at a brisk pace and is action packed with drama, suspense, danger, humour, intrigue, and so much more. The characters are loveable and strong; their chemistry is off the charts. An on the edge of the seat read that is very interesting, un-put-a-down-able, and strongly recommended!

Maya and Atlas have an explosive first meeting with an entirely unexpected result. Both Atlas and Maya have interesting backstories. The mystery, suspense and action is somewhat unique with interesting bad guys that bring major feelings to the book, in the form of fear for our little family. The secondary characters are integral to the story but I wanted to punch Reed at least twice. I also might have wanted to punch both brides at least once. I like Sue a lot though.

Atlas and Maya had a fling while he was serving in Afghanistan as a Seal and she was war photographer over there They definitely steamed up the sheets but went their separate ways. Now Atlas is waiting to resign with the Seals and is attending a friends wedding in Telluride what he doesn’t expect is to meet Maya again. Things are still hot and intense between them but May is keeping a secret. Now someone with a grudge is targetting May will Atlas be able to keep her safe and how will he react when he finds he has a daughter Wren that Maya never told him about. The sexual chemistry between these two is off the charts but do they have a future together.
Maya and Atlas meet in a bar overseas when she is reporting the news and he is in the military. They shared a hot night together and go their separate ways. However Maya finds herself pregnant with his baby and no way to find him to tell him. Now they run into each other while she is working at wedding as a photographer and he is a guest. Sparks reignite between them and Atlas tells her that he’s never forgotten her. Yet she hasn’t gotten the chance to share the news of the child they have together. Will Atlas want to be with them as a family? Is he back to stay?

Here we have a story with great characters and a really good storyline. The villains are fantastic as well, I think I like the poetic justice of their ending… The beginning of this story, the way it developes and ends is all equally good somehow. There was no particular part of this story that was better or worse than the rest. This story kept me at it from the beginning and all the way through and to the end. I am really glad at least to give this story beautiful four stars, it is just shy of the fantastic five… But four stars plus this one really deserves. But as always I can only tell you my opnion.

I absolutely loved this secret baby/SEAL/second chance romance. The storyline is fast-paced and well-written. Darcy and Atlas are wonderful main characters, their chemistry is sizzling hot and now they can work on being a wonderful little family after being apart for three years and Atlas not knowing about adorable little Wren. Wonderfully entertaining.
Maya and Atlas meet in less than ideal circumstances, reconnect by coincidence. Not your typical military story, lovely twist and good development of the characters. Love does begin in the most unexpected ways sometimes.
ONE EXPLOSIVE EXPERIENCE!!!
Holy der’mo! Darcy not only brought out the big guns, she hussled the C-4, threw in assault rifles and commandeered the jets loaded to the max for this high octane bad boy that leveled the country, razed the roofs and blew them off the map. One thrilling, nailbitng, action packed, hard hitting, page turning, explosive bombshell that makes for one spine tingling ride. The skepticism, revelations and speculation along with perplexing situations, shenanigans and nerve racking drama sets the pace for this chaotic ride that blasts this bad boy wide open. This baby showcases 100% on point realism, kicking up a churning vortex chocked-full of surprising events and vexing circumstances that keep you flipping page after page. Pushing on-ward, hurdling the trials and tribulations, along with a slew of plot twists and sharp turns fuses this baby together sleek, shiny and tight. Add in distress and turmoil and you have the recipe for one chart topping, prize winning dynamo. The characters chemistry sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The characters are authentic, genuine and realistic with such depth and qualities that blend and transform into amazing personalities. The scenes are so vividly detailed it gives the illusion you were right there standing in the middle of ground zero with them. Fantastic job Darcy, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
Atlas and Maya met while in Kabul. Atlas a Navy Seal and Maya a war journalist. A few drinks in a hovel and a hot night of sex. They don’t see each other again for 3 years and then by accident. He’s there for a wedding and she’s photographing it. But she’s had an addition to her life he knows nothing about. When one of her stories she’s done comes back to haunt her and puts her and her daughter in danger, Atlas is there as her protector. This is the first book I’ve read of this author and it’s a great story. There’s danger, heat and HEA.
Atlas and Maya meet in Kabul while he was in the service. They had one night of passion and went their separate ways. Three years later, he is in a snow ridden valley attending a friend’s wedding. He happens to run into Maya again~ She was a photographer years ago taking photos and stories in different places. Their one night of passion left her with a big surprise and she could never find Atlas. She struggles to tell him he is a father. They spend a lot of time together and he wonders if her daughter belongs to him. Someone is threatening Maya and her family. Someone very dangerous and playing for keeps. It will take all the training Atlas has and a few favors to call in to combat these people. Who will survive and die? Can he save the family he just discovered? This is a great romance with wonderful characters. I received this book via Booksprout and am leaving a voluntary review.

Passionately raw, flirty and suspenseful
Her SEAL Secret Baby by Darcy Quinn is a very fun read for the characters and captivatingly intriguing for the plot.
I loved everything about this book, but Atlas hooked me. This bad boy alpha SEAL and his vulnerability drew me in from the beginning and held me enthralled to the very end. He is equal parts serious and outrageous flirt which calls to Maya. These two are clearly made for each other. Between the development of their relationship; a slow burn with plenty of tension and self-combusting chemistry, as well as the suspense and drama of the danger and suspense, this book is an absolute page turner. I was often impatient for Maya and Atlas’s interactions because their chemistry always burned brightly no matter what. It didn’t matter if they were just talking or in the throws of passion, it was all good, meaningful and deeply connecting them to one another.
While Atlas and Maya have been emotionally connected from their first encounter, as their story progresses, it’s little Wren that is the compound that solidifies them together. This author does a really wonderful job of including the toddler in this book in a realistic manner. Two year olds can be a delight and Wren truly was a delightful part of this story.
Overall, a very well written book with interesting and charismatic characters, suspense, danger, a sweetly romantic HEA and a beautiful setting for a super steamy ending.
