Benjamin Steele just wanted to go on a well-earned vacation in Alaska. But instead he finds himself on a flight with Megan Foster, the only woman he’d ever loved. When their plane goes down in a fiery crash, Benjamin finds himself acting as protector to Megan and her little charge, Logan. Making matters worse, he quickly realizes someone is out there trying to kill one of them. The Navy SEAL … wasn’t looking for romance, especially not with her, but it’s hard not to think about what could’ve been when Megan is near him. As they work together to escape danger, Ben feels unwanted stirrings in a heart he’d nearly forgotten he had.
As Logan’s nanny, Megan knows two things—she needs to get Logan safely back to his parents, and that Ben is the best bet she has. Though he’d left her heartbroken years before, she trusts that he can protect them both. What she doesn’t realize is that Ben is a different man than the one who abandoned her, and it’s impossible to ignore the chemistry burning between them. As the danger increases and those hunting them draw ever closer, she’s finding it more difficult to resist his quiet strength. But will he still be around to protect her when they’re safe? Or will old habits kick in and leave her heartbroken once again?

Ben and Megan had been a couple in college, but due to Ben’s childhood where his parents left him and his poor experiences with the foster system, Ben left Megan before he thought she would leave him. Serendipitously eight years later they are on the same plane that was sabotaged and crashed. Good story with vivid and lovable characters. Good read!

I like Meg and Ben. I love Logan. The story has heat, suspense and action. The characters have depth and are well written. I wish that Ben would find his HEA a little faster but some of us are hard headed.

I liked that this book kept moving and I didn’t feel bored while reading. I enjoyed that Ben and Megan had history and ran into each other at the airport. I am glad that Ben was there to help keep Megan and Logan safe. I was so sad that Mark could do such awful things to a child. I also felt for how hardened Ben felt he needed to be against leaning on Megan. I am glad in the end they were able to stay safe and Ben was able to have a happy ending with Megan.

Katie Knight is fast becoming a go to author for me her stories always flow well and alpha heroes that you can fall in love with and enough suspense to keep you engaged and this one is no exception
Ben is a navy seal who is heading to a friends place in Alaska for some down time While he is the airport waiting to board he rescues a runaway toddler imagine his surprise when he realises that the toddler is with Megan the one woman he has always loved and the one he hurt when he entered the navy She and Logan are about to board the same plane as Ben When they board they find they are the only passengers so when the plane crashes after an explosion the first thing Ben does is check to make sure they are both safe They are the only survivors it doesn’t take him long to realise that the explosion was sabotage or that Logan is the target now with enemies of his parents closing in will he be able to keep them both safe with his skills as a Seal
Quite a page turner about Megan and Logan. They have a second chance after many years apart. Excellent!!!

This is my second book from Katie, and I love it. This book had everything you want just like her other books. You get action, romance, and loving the hell out of that seal. This book is about Ben and Megan. He is your Navy SEAL while she is the love that got away because he chooses to run away to join the military instead of working things out with her and coming back to her. She works for a couple of doctors as a nanny to their son, Logan. Both of his parents are at a medical conference, where she is heading to meet up with them. While at the airport, she bumps into Ben as he is also boarding the same plane. Well as you can imagine, Ben goes into protective mode when their plane goes down. Is her life in danger that he needs to become so protective or is it Logan that needs the protection? It is a very loving story and one that will keep you up all night as you will not want to put it down. I had to leave work early because I made the mistake to start it that morning and I couldn’t stop thinking of it and decided to leave! This is an awesome read! I can’t wait for the next book

Ben and Megan were college sweethearts, but he joined the Navy and broke her heart. He had a rough childhood, and has always had trouble opening up. He&’ a SEAL now, and loves his career. Megan worked in marketing, but wasn’t happy. She’s nanny to Logan, only child of two doctors, and loves him and her job. Ben, Megan and Logan end up as the only passengers on a plane to Fairbanks. And then they’re the only survivors when the plane crashes. It wasn’t an accident, and someone has targeted them. They’re on the run, trying to stay ahead of whomever is after them. The chemistry is still there between them, but they’re both afraid of being hurt again. Gotta love friends who aren’t afraid to interfere. I love this book! Of course, I always love Katie Knight/Leslie North books. This was great action-packed story with a happy ending, a cute little boy, a gorgeous & strong & smart heroine, and a sexy-as-hell SEAL.

Woefully wounded warrior’s third time’s a charm
Her SEAL Rescuer by Katie Knight is a very well written emotionally conflicting love story. Ben is truly a seriously wounded alpha warrior who regrets how he hurt Megan. Megan, broken hearted even after all their years apart, still longs for Ben to trust her love. Both of them have grown and changed, but the connection didn’t change, it seemed to me that it grew in scope and depth, matching and complimenting one another even more than before. Fate brings them together and throughout all the danger, love blooms again and then some.
I fell for both these characters. Megan because she is so like me! Ben because he so needs nurturing and that’s right up my alley just like Megan. Their journey is heart wrenching yet also filled with warmth, memories, love and kindness. Not to mention an adorable tike that steals everyone’s heart including our wounded warrior.
Overall a well written romantic second (third) chance suspense. Despite all their denial (Ben and Megan alike), fate helps them slowly realize their destiny to be together and find their HEA.

He left her.
Twice
Ben was so scared and emotionally damaged, he left Megan eight years ago before she could leave him. He enlisted as a seal when she was making plans for them to move in together.
Eight years later, they meet in an Alaskan airport. That would have been that, except, their plane crashes and thus begins a long journey of survival, especially since there’s two men after Logan.
But, once again, Ben leaves Megan. When will he ever man up?

4.5**** stars! Ben is a Navy Seal on his way to visit his friend to go fishing during leave. While he is waiting for his flight, Megan who was his girlfriend in college shows up at the gate with her nanny charge Logan. Turns out, they are the only passengers on the plan. There are two explosions which are bringing down the plane. After the plane crashes, Ben inspects all of the storage areas looking for equipment malfunction or a bomb. When he finds a second unexploded bomb, he needs to figure out who is the target. Follow their escape through the forest to safety. Suspenseful, grabs you from the beginning, lots of action and some emotional drama!

Absolutely fantastic! A well written emotionally deep romance. The storyline is flawless, funny, witty, enjoyable, and very interesting. The story flows smoothly and moves along at a brisk pace with a few ups and downs and a mix of emotions on every page. The chemistry between them is intense and their love scenes are beautifully written and HOT!

I liked this second chance romance. Ben and Meg had good chemistry and I thought they made a good couple. The story held my attention with its blend of tension, emotional turmoil, drama and excitement. A good read.
I had read one other by this author but I think I am kinda hooked by her Seals lol. Benjamin, Megan and Logan will soon take over once you begin this one. Things will happen that you are caught up in the troubles but also what is unfolding. The drama will wrap around you with what does transpire out of it you can not stop because you too need to know the answers. At times pins and needles but also chemistry that warms up too. One once started you will want your answers too.
her SEAL Rescuer by Katie Knight. This is Ben and Megan’s story. This book is filled with lots of action, suspense and mystery. The book is about second chance love. Ben dated Megan when he was younger but things were getting to series for him and he left her. Fast forward and its been some years now and Ben is on leave from the SEALs and he ends help seeing Megan again. She’s a nanny now but once he sees her old feelings come rushing back and a little jealousy comes into play because he thinks the child his hers. They end up on the same plane. Now the plane has crashed and they are the only survivors. Now they have to find their way out of the cold. Ben becomes their protector and as they try to get out. They are being hunted by the bomber and it makes for a very interesting journey. I really enjoyed the book. I enjoyed watching them fall in love and for Ben to apologize. His past had him thinking he didn’t deserve love but Megan’s heart was so big that he had no choice but to fall again. Great job on this story Katie.

This had the potential to be a really great book but instead, it was simply a mediocre one! The story-line was fairly original but it just lacked the necessary punch to move it into greatness. I gave this a mid-level rating based solely on originality and writing ability. IMHO the toddler, Logan, stole the show in this one.

.Megan was in love with Benjamin when they were in college together. When Benjamin fines out Megan wants to get an apartment together he leaves for the Navy SEALs. He is scared of commitments. Years later Benjamin is on a week leave going visit a friend in Alaska. Megan is taking her charge Logan to his parents in Fairbanks, Alaska when they find themselves on the same flight. The plane goes down. Benjamin finds that it had bombs in the luggage compartment and one hadn’t discharged. With his job he didn’t know if someone wanted him dead or Megan. They start a long trip hiking to safety. The chemistry is still strong as ever between them. This is really a good book with a lot of action and a HEA.

Ben and Megan are on a plane from Anchorage to Fairbanks. Ben is taking some time off and Megan is a nanny taking her charge (Logan) back to his parents. The plane crashes in the middle of the forest when they find themselves on the run from people who are trying to kill them. As they’re on the move Megan and Ben start thinking about their relationship and where they went wrong. Ben starts thinking that he may have made the wrong decision in walking away from their relationship years ago. Megan doesn’t want to be hurt again so she’s trying to guard her heart. They need to work through their problems if they’re ever going to find a way to be happy again. This book was enjoyable. I really liked the characters and the story.

A great story! Megan and Benjamin had a romance years ago before commitment scared him and he ran away to join the military. Megan is the only woman he’s loved. Now they’re on the same flight to Alaska and when their plane goes down he feels the need to protect Megan and Logan, the child she nannies. Will fate bring these 2 former lovers back together? You’ll have to read to find out.
