Benjamin Steele just wanted to go on a well-earned vacation in Alaska. But instead he finds himself on a flight with Megan Foster, the only woman he’d ever loved. When their plane goes down in a fiery crash, Benjamin finds himself acting as protector to Megan and her little charge, Logan. Making matters worse, he quickly realizes someone is out there trying to kill one of them. The Navy SEAL … wasn’t looking for romance, especially not with her, but it’s hard not to think about what could’ve been when Megan is near him. As they work together to escape danger, Ben feels unwanted stirrings in a heart he’d nearly forgotten he had.
As Logan’s nanny, Megan knows two things—she needs to get Logan safely back to his parents, and that Ben is the best bet she has. Though he’d left her heartbroken years before, she trusts that he can protect them both. What she doesn’t realize is that Ben is a different man than the one who abandoned her, and it’s impossible to ignore the chemistry burning between them. As the danger increases and those hunting them draw ever closer, she’s finding it more difficult to resist his quiet strength. But will he still be around to protect her when they’re safe? Or will old habits kick in and leave her heartbroken once again?

Kate Knight has a well written second chances love story in her SEAL Rescuer. Meg and Ben have a history together and neither has ever gotten over the other. Meg left her marketing job to be the Nanny for Logan, the young son of two successful doctors, and Ben became a navy SEAL. When they meet again and a madman brings down the plane they are on, can they work together and will their love reignite or will they walk away broken hearted again?
This is a well written action story you will not want to put down.

(3.5)This was a quick enjoyable read. Seal (Ben)on some downtown, meets up with the only women (Megan)he every loves, in an airport. They are on the same flight. The plane crashes and the rest of their story is evading the people out to get them and the child (Logan). I fell in love with the child just reading the story, lol. I had some issues with Ben making some of the decisions he did. Yes I know even seals make mistakes, but it seemed a tad too simple. We learn the depth of Bens hurt (unloved) as a child to help understand. Needless to say I am not Megan, I just couldn’t wrap my head around her constant understanding, except to say her capacity in life is love. She was the sun to his darkness. There is suspense, just not enough for me. So all in all its personal preference. Thank you for the arc, all thoughts and opinions are my own and were unsolicited.
Another excellent read. Turmoil for Ben and Megan. They were lovers in college, when Ben decided to leave her behind and join the Navy. Of course Megan was heart broken. She didn’t understand his reasoning or what he was really told by his foster parents. There is a lot of action, Ben trying to come to terms with what he really wants. Loved Logan, he was a scamp. HER SEAL RESCUER By Katie Knight & Leslie North
I really loved this book. I was turning pages late into the night until I finished it as I wanted to know what was going to happen. Katie Knight has proven herself to me as an up & coming author that always delivers a great read with solid story lines, hot chemistry between the leads, angst, intrigue and suspense.
Megan Foster is a nanny to Logan, the son of two physicians. Benjamin Steele has a vacation coming up from the Seals that he is going to take in Alaska at the State National Forest. When Megan & Logan show up to board the small plane she is shocked to see Benjamin, as they had been seriously dating in college and he dumped her & joined the military instead of dealing with his abandonment issues. When their plane goes down, Benjamin finds sabotage with one bomb and another that did not go off. He soon finds proof someone is out to kill Logan, and he needs to protect Logan and Megan while getting them off the mountain. This is a definite 5 star read!

This was a good well written second chance romance and is Megan and Benjamin’s story these two were together years before until he left her to join the military. Now years later they find themselves on the same flight together and when the plane goes down and it is not an accident he is determined to keep her safe. These two had lots of chemistry. the storyline was really good with lots going on to keep you hooked and reading right until the very last page
While the story itself is both gripping and enjoyable, I think it’s the character development in this book that really entranced me. Ben’s progression from an aloof, long-term-averse operative that’s wary of children to a man that inspires Logan’s trust and love is a joy to experience. Katie Knight’s other characters are also well-drawn, even the villains. While nothing could ever excuse their behavior, particularly the father’s, you can only imagine the levels of grief and guilt he experiences. I’ve come to look forward to Katie Knight’s releases; I know I’m getting a book I’ll love, with a good story and great characters, and often some space for reflection too.

Will Ben be able to keep them alive and will he prove to Megan that his love for her is still alive?
This is a must read, I couldn’t put the book down till the last page. I loved how the storyline developed and the characters grew to be as great as the story was.meant to be. There was the right amount of intrigue and suspense while the murders were after the survivors.

This is a wonderful emotional second chance romance, it’s fast-paced and well-written. The storyline is packed with drama and intrigue. The emotions between Ben and Megan have not faded even with all the years they have been apart. Now, Ben will make sure nothing harms Megan and her adorable little boy that she nannys, Logan.
I really enjoyed this story, read it in one sitting. Highly entertaining.

This is a well written second chance romance with strong characters in Megan and Ben who were together before he enlisted and left her behind. The author brings them together again when they meet up on a plane that crashes and sets them off on an intriguing journey of survival with the added danger of trying
to be safe with someone trying to kill one of them. The chemistry is still there but will it be enough? It’s a story filled with emotions and adventure. My only wish is I would have liked to see a little more of their past history but overall I enjoyed the book.

This was so beautifully written. The suspense and angst had you holding on to your kindle waiting to see what happened. The twists and turns I didn’t see coming. The sweet Logan and him getting through to Ben. It was great!

This book had me all over the place! Ben and Meg belong together, but fear has a way for getting in the way. When they see each other again and end up relying on each other, you can see how much they care for one another. I couldn’t it down!
